ギブソン製サンダーバードのフレットすり合わせ・ポット交換です。

フレットの消耗で全体の減りが起きています。

ポットにガリが起きており、新品に交換し修正しました。

ギブソン製自体のフレット処理がかなりいい加減の為、フレットを綺麗に丸めるだけでも音質が良くなります。
ギブソン径のフレットはかなり台形気味なので音の形が悪くなります。
丸めるだけでも音の形が綺麗に聴こえる様になります。

Gibson Thunderbird fret leveling and pot replacement.

Overall fret wear has occurred due to fret consumption.

The potentiometer was producing crackling noise, so it was replaced with a new one and the issue was resolved.

Gibson’s own fret processing is quite sloppy, so simply rounding the frets nicely improves the tone.
Gibson-sized frets are quite trapezoidal, which distorts the sound shape.
Just rounding them makes the sound shape come through more clearly.
