PRS製Custom24のネック折れリペア・セットアップです。

6弦側にひび割れが起きている状態です。
PRSは材の状態が良く乾燥も良好なので杢目に割れる事が多いです。

お客様との相談で接着で対処しました。過去に一度折れている事もあるそうで、もしかするとその割れがきっかけて折れてしまった事も考えられます。

フレット状態が全体の消耗であまり良くない状態の為、次回はすり合わせがお勧めです。

PRS Custom 24 Neck Break Repair and Setup.

The crack is located on the 6th string side.
PRS guitars often split along the grain due to the high-quality wood and excellent drying process.

After consulting with the customer, we addressed it with adhesive. It seems the neck may have broken once before, and that previous crack could have been the trigger for this break.

The overall fret condition is not ideal due to wear, so we recommend refretting next time.
