電源が入らないとの事で持ち込まれました。

チェックしてみるとアダプタが破損している様で、テスターで図ると電圧が殆ど0Vの反応です。

電源が入らない場合、こうした機器やDCジャックの接点を疑うと良いでしょう。

また電源アダプタ端子が2.5内径5.5外形で、一般エフェクターと異なるサイズな事も面倒な仕様となっています。
どうしてこの辺りは全て同じサイズに共通できないのか？メーカーに聞きたい所です。

このジャック形状はパーツの用意が無いので、配線のみで電源を直結してみたら電源が入り動作も問題無い事を確認しました。
新しいアダプタさえ用意できれば問題無い状態です。

アダプタは同じボルト、アンペアは純正以上の物であれば使用可能です。
純正で付いているアダプタがこの辺りがお金を掛けていない所の様で使用アンペアがギリギリなアダプタが付いている事があります。
容量の余裕が無いのでアダプタへの負荷は大きいと思うので、これらが原因でアダプタが壊れるのでしょう。
もう少し容量が大きいアダプタを使用すれば安定動作＋長持ちすると思います。

It was brought in because it would not turn on.

The adapter was damaged, and a tester showed that the voltage was almost 0V.

If the power does not come on, you should suspect the contacts of such a device or the DC jack.

Another troublesome specification is that the power adapter terminals are different in size from those of ordinary effectors, with a 2.5 inner diameter and a 5.5 outer diameter.
Why can’t they all be the same size? We would like to ask the manufacturer.

Since there are no parts available for this jack shape, I tried connecting the power supply directly to the jack by wiring only, and confirmed that it turns on and works fine.
As long as we can get a new adapter, we are good to go.

The adapter can be used as long as it has the same volts and amperage as the factory one or higher.
The factory adapter is not very expensive in this area, and sometimes comes with an adapter that is just short of the amperage required.
Since there is no margin of capacity, the load on the adapter is large, and this is probably the cause of the adapter breaking.
I think if you use an adapter with a little more capacity, it will work stably + last longer.
