ヴァンザンド製ストラトキャスターのPU交換・コンデンサ交換です。

以前に交換したルジールPUのモデルを巻き数等を変更し改良されたPUです。

ピッチは同じで弦位置と合いませんが、以前よりパワーが上がり音の芯が強くなりボヤけない音像になりました。

音質もハム寄りになりコード鳴りも良いです。
単音が太いのでシングルコイルっぽさが減り、シングルっぽさを求めるならほんの少しコイル巻き数を減らした方が良いかも。
たった500回巻きでも音が以前よりも大きく変化した様に感じました。

お客様の要望でコンデンサをオレンジドロップ0.022ufに交換しました。
リアＰＵがハム寄りの音になったので、コンデンサも0.047から交換すると音の太さが変わってきます。

Vanzand Stratocaster pickup and capacitor replacement.

This pickup is an improved version of the previously installed Rujir pickup, featuring modified winding counts and other enhancements.

While the pitch remains the same and doesn’t perfectly align with the string positions, it delivers increased power compared to before. The sound has a stronger core and a clearer, less muddy tone.

The tone leans more towards humbucker characteristics, and chord voicing is excellent.
The single notes are thicker, reducing the typical single-coil character. If you prefer a more single-coil sound, slightly reducing the coil count might be better.
Even just 500 fewer turns seemed to make a significant difference in the sound compared to before.

At the customer’s request, the capacitor was replaced with an Orange Drop 0.022uF.
Since the rear pickup now has a more humbucker-like sound, changing the capacitor from 0.047 also alters the overall thickness of the tone.
