最近は良さに気が付いた人が購入しているPUですね。

パワーが無いヴィンテージタイプだが音抜けが良くコード鳴りが綺麗で、リアは少し出力が高く全体バランスが良いPUです。

これはストラトキャスターとして理想的なサウンドに思います。
フロントからリアまでここまで良いバランスしたサウンドを出せるのは意外と無いので、ArqueNoteは一般的に流通した方が良いPUですね。

This is a pickup and pot replacement and setup for a Tokai Stratocaster.

We replaced the pickups with three pots provided by the customer and Luzier pickups.

These are pickups that people have been buying lately after realizing how good they are.

Although they’re vintage-style pickups with lower output, they have excellent projection and a clean chord tone; the bridge pickup has slightly higher output, resulting in a well-balanced overall sound.

I think this is the ideal sound for a Stratocaster.
It’s surprisingly rare to find a pickup that delivers such a well-balanced sound from the neck to the bridge, so ArqueNote pickups really deserve to be more widely available.

新品購入との事ですがかなり弦高が高い状態で弾き難いです。

トラスロッドの余り量が残り少ない状態で、新品でこの状態から使い続けるとなると長持ちはしないと思います。

現在は木材強度が昔と比べて非常に劣るので、新品でも弦張力に負けて大きく順反りそれをトラスロッドで真っ直ぐに直すので最初から多くトラスロッドが使われます。
だから新品でもトラスロッドに余裕が少ない物が多くなっています。

当然ながらそうした状態なので、弦を張ってたら順反りしていきトラスロッドの調整で直せる範囲を超えてきたらもうダメです。
新品時点でトラスロッドに余裕が少ない楽器はそうした楽器を買う意味でもあるので、購入前に必ず目の前で正しく調整できた上でトラスロッドを回させて余り量を確認して買わないと損です。

This is a setup for a Fender Mexico Stratocaster.

You mentioned you bought it brand new, but the string action is quite high, making it difficult to play.

There’s very little truss rod adjustment left, and if you continue playing it in this condition right out of the box, I don’t think it will last very long.

Nowadays, the strength of the wood is significantly inferior to what it used to be, so even brand-new guitars often warp significantly under string tension. Since the truss rod is used to straighten them out, a lot of adjustment is used up right from the start.
That’s why many brand-new guitars have very little truss rod adjustment left.

Naturally, in this condition, the neck will continue to bow forward as you play, and once it exceeds the range that can be corrected by adjusting the truss rod, the instrument is beyond repair.
Since buying an instrument with little truss rod adjustment range right out of the box is essentially the point of purchasing such an instrument, you’ll be wasting your money if you don’t have the dealer adjust it correctly right in front of you before buying—and let you turn the truss rod yourself to check the remaining adjustment range.

Aシリアルのモデルです。

長年倉庫に閉まっていたとの事で各所が汚れています。

ジャック不良があるので新品に交換しましたが音は安定して出ております。
動作確認＋調整してみて使えるかチェックしたいとの事でセットアップしてみましたが特に問題無さそうです。

また音が非常に良い個体で、当時は数万円でかなり良い個体が普通に購入できた良い時代です。

別にフェンダージャパンの初期シリアルだからとか関係無く2000年代辺りまでのフェンダージャパンの数万円モデルでもかなり良いのでお勧めです。

This is a jack replacement and setup for a Fender Japan Stratocaster.

It’s an A-serial model.

It had been stored in a warehouse for many years, so it’s dirty in various places.

The jack was faulty, so I replaced it with a new one, and the sound is now stable.
The owner wanted me to test the functionality and adjust it to see if it was usable, so I performed a setup, and it seems to be working fine.

It’s also a guitar with excellent tone. Back then, it was a great era when you could easily buy a really good Fender Japan model for just a few tens of thousands of yen.

Regardless of whether it’s an early Fender Japan serial number or not, even the Fender Japan models from around the 2000s that cost a few tens of thousands of yen are quite good, so I highly recommend them.

フェンダーメキシコ製ストラトキャスターのPU交換・コンデンサ交換です。

ルジール製のオーダーしたPUに交換です。

過去にルジールでオーダーしたPUを使用し、そこから自分好みに寄せていくオーダーを数回繰り返しやっと希望通りのモデルが作れた様子です。
音抜けが良くやや太めのサウンドで非常にバランスが良いリアPUになりました。

ストラトキャスターのリアＰＵは皆様も困っていると思いますが、ＰＵ交換でリアが今度は「パワーが有り過ぎる」や「フロント・センターとのバランスが悪い」となる事が多いです。
リアは「ほんの少しのパワーがほしい」はずですが、それを叶えてくれるＰＵが実はあまりありません。
好みもあると思いますが、リアＰＵはポジションとして音が細くなるのでやや音の太さが欲しく、その太さに高域が負けるとリアとして旨みを失うので低音と高音のバランス感がある上で少しパワーが必要な特殊なポジションです。

お客様の要望でコンデンサを0.022ufに交換しました。
ポットのkΩ数・コンデンサの数値で音が変わってくるので自分好みに付け替えた方が良いです。
この辺りに決まりはありません。

This is a pickup and capacitor replacement on a Fender Mexico Stratocaster.

We’re replacing the pickups with custom-made ones from Luzil.

It seems the owner used pickups previously ordered from Luzil, fine-tuning them to his liking through several iterations until he finally achieved the exact model he wanted.
The result is a rear pickup with excellent projection, a slightly fuller tone, and excellent balance.

I imagine many of you struggle with the Stratocaster’s bridge pickup; when replacing it, the bridge often ends up being “too powerful” or “out of balance with the neck and middle pickups.”
Ideally, you’d want “just a little more power” from the bridge pickup, but there aren’t actually many pickups that can deliver that.
Preferences vary, of course, but since the sound tends to get thinner in the bridge position, you want a bit of body. If the high frequencies overpower that body, the bridge loses its appeal, so it’s a unique position that requires a balance between low and high frequencies along with a bit of power.

At the customer’s request, I replaced the capacitor with a 0.022uF unit.
Since the sound changes depending on the pot’s resistance and the capacitor’s value, it’s best to swap them out to suit your own preferences.
There are no set rules regarding this.

状態良く調整は特に問題ありませんでした。

音がモッサリ系で50年代モデルの様子です。

音が柔らかく雑味が多いので現行品でもヴィンテージギターの様なニュアンスが出せるモデルかと思います。

Here is the setup for a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster.

It was in good condition and required no major adjustments.

The tone has a mellow, mellow character, typical of a ’50s model.

With its soft tone and rich, warm character, I believe this model can produce a vintage-style sound even though it’s a modern instrument.

80年代製の物で長年の消耗がある状態です。

ナットを交換しフレットをすり合わせ、正常な状態に仕上げました。

音が太く、存在感があるのでアンサンブルで抜けが良さそうな個体です。
当時のMOON製は評価が高い理由もよく分かりました。
Fender等を良い方向に改良したストラトと思います。

Nut replacement and fret leveling on a Moon-made PGM-era Stratocaster.

This is an 80s model showing significant wear from years of use.

We replaced the nut and leveled the frets, restoring it to proper condition.

It has a thick, present sound that should cut through well in an ensemble.
It’s easy to see why Moon-made guitars from that era are so highly regarded.
I consider it a Strat that improves upon models like Fender in positive ways.

リアPUをルジール製のオーダーPU、スイッチポット増設でブレンダー配線に組み換えです。

ブレンダー回路を組むとフロントとリアのミックスサウンドが出せる様になります。
センター＋リアのハーフトーン時にスイッチONにすれば全てのPUが鳴る状態にも可能です。

音が良い感じに巻き弦が柔らかく、プレーン弦はバリバリしないバランスの良いサウンドです。

メイプル指板の影響もあると思いますが非常に理想的なリアサウンドに思いました。
これは自分も欲しいレベルです。

Wiring rework and setup for a Fender Japan Stratocaster.

The rear pickup was replaced with a custom-made Rujir pickup, and the switch pot was upgraded to enable blender wiring.

The blender circuit allows for a mix of the front and rear pickup sounds.
When the center + rear pickup is selected (half-tone position), switching the pickup selector ON enables all pickups to sound simultaneously.

The tone is nicely balanced: the wound strings sound soft, and the open strings don’t sound harsh.

I believe the maple fingerboard also contributes, but I found the rear pickup sound to be exceptionally ideal.
This is a level I would personally want for myself.

メーカー不明ギターのフレット交換・ペグ交換・配線直しです。

状態が悪く音詰まり箇所があり、音も安定して出ません。

昔ジャンク品で購入したギターとの事ですがレリック塗装だけはかなり良い具合に仕上げてあります。
ここだけは業者にやってもらったのかもしれません。

ペグは素人作業がされて無理矢理付いており、穴を埋めて空け直された跡があるのですが穴空けもいい加減の様子でペグが正しく付いておりません。

ペグ穴も無理矢理広げられた箇所があったりと素人作業が目立ちます。

お客様と相談し作業費がなるべく掛からない様に新しいペグに交換する形となりました。
クルーソン仕様ですがこの様な状態なのでブッシュ穴がガバガバで付けれないので、穴をシャーラータイプの10ｍｍに広げGOTOH製のナット止めタイプに交換する内容にしました。

状態も素人作業のフレット交換がされています。フレット付近は割れたままフレットが打たれていたり、仕上げも雑な事から音詰まりが起きています。

フレットも簡単に抜けたりと、相当雑な作業がされています。
中古で購入する際、下手にフレット交換がされている物のチェックしてこうした状態は分かり易いです。
安く買えてもフレット交換で直す羽目になります。
指板の整形も非常に崩れており、あまりにも酷く指板が削られていると修正が困難になる場合があるので購入時は要注意ポイントです。

指板延長も行われている様子ですが雑です。延長した指板が剥がれたりしないか心配はあります。

やはり簡単に外れました。
内部に棒を入れて接着する様に加工してあり、簡単に外れました。
こちらは再接着で対処しました。

電装パーツはお客様持ち込みのGOTOH OLD-1に交換です。

ピックガードも前オーナーが自分でP-90ザグリを空けた？のかサイズがギリギリで、かなり強めにピックガードに引っ掛かるので高さ調整ができません。
付けれはしますが細かい高さ調整に対応ができないのでピックガードを交換するかザグリを空け直す必要が出てきます。

フロントはピッキングの反応が良く良好、リアは硬くなく標準的なサウンドで扱い易いです。

GOTOH製PUは低価格ながら音質が良いのでお勧めです。

フレット交換し問題無く使用できる状態になりました。

購入したばかりとの事ですが弦高が低過ぎて音詰まりしてる状態です。

調整する事で問題無く弾ける状態になりました。

楽器屋で購入してもかなりいい加減な調整で販売していたり渡す事も多いので要注意ポイントです。
特に楽器屋の店員は人員不足により店員が楽器を詳しく分からない場合も多いです。

Be aware that even when purchased from a music store, instruments are often sold or handed over with quite sloppy adjustments.
