  • ミュージックマン製AXISのジャック交換・セットアップです。

    古い年代製だがあまり弾かれていないのか状態が良い個体です。

    ジャックが消耗により不具合があるので新品へ交換、セットアップする事で弾き易くなりました。

    ミュージックマン製は分かり易く「昔は良かった」と思わせる機種が多く、今の現行品と全く異なり昔のモデルは非常に良い物が多いです。

    バーズアイのメイプルネックも剛性が高く、古い年代製でも反りが少なくトラスロッドの余りも多い個体が他メーカーと比べて多い様な印象があります。

    近年は良い木材（強度が高い木材）が取れないのでしょうがないかもしれませんが、ここ数年が異常なので新品を気軽に買える時代ではなくなりました。

    This is a Musicman AXIS jack replacement and setup.

    It is an older model but in good condition as it has not been played much.

    Many Musicman models are easy to understand and make you think “the old days were good,” and many of the old models are very good, completely different from today’s current models.

    Bird’s eye maple necks are also very rigid, and I have the impression that even older models have less warpage and more truss rod left over than other makers.

    It may be that good wood (high-strength wood) is hard to find in recent years, but the last few years have been so abnormal that we can no longer casually buy new ones.

  • トーカイ製ストラトキャスターの配線直し・セットアップです。

    ラッカーに再塗装してレリックされた90年代製のモデルです。

    お客様の要望でボリュームが手に当たるとの事で1Vo1Toにして手に当たらない様にしました。

    調整してみた所トラスロッド限界の状態です。
    古いモデルはどうしても状態が悪いので、トラスロッドの余り量以外はリペアでいくらでも直せますがネックの反り自体は簡単に直す事ができません。
    トラスロッドがどれだけ余っているか？が非常に重要ですので、お金を掛ける改造をされる際はこの辺りの状態も含め費用対効果が高い（状態が良い物を改造した方が良い）です。

    This is a Tokai Stratocaster rewired and setup.

    It is a 90’s model that has been re-painted and reliced in lacquer.

    The customer requested that the volume hit his hand, so we made it 1Vo1To so that it doesn’t hit his hand.

    The truss rod is at the limit of the adjustment.
    Older models are always in bad condition, so we can repair anything except the truss rod excess, but the neck warp itself is not easy to fix.
    How much truss rod is left over is very important, so you need to spend money to modify the neck. Therefore, it is very important to have a good condition of the truss rod.

  • PRS製S2 Custom22のポット交換・セットアップです。

    ボリュームにガリがある状態なので新品ポットに交換しました。

    順反りで弾き難いのを調整しました。

    PRS製はSEでも弾き易い精度の良さがあり、調整さえしっかりと行えば価格に関係無く弾き易いギターになります。
    新品でもこの辺りの調整がいい加減な状態で販売されている事も多い為、買ってすぐ調整して使用する事をお勧めします。

  • フェンダーカスタムショップ製ストラトキャスターのフレットすり合わせです。

    弾き込まれており消耗で状態が悪いです。70年代仕様のモデルです。

    フレットの消耗が大きいといくら調整しても音詰まりは消えませんので、無理矢理にネックを順反りしたり弦高を高くしない事には音詰まりは簡単に消えません。

    フレットをすり合わせ、音詰まりも無くなり弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

    70年代仕様はジョイントプレートからのボルト調整でネック角度を調整でき、シム調整にはない細かな角度調整が可能です。
    しかし隙間が大きくできるので、音的にはシムの方が良いと言う人が多いです。

    This is a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster fret grinder.

    It is a 70’s spec model.

    The ’70s version has a bolt adjustment from the joint plate to adjust the neck angle, which allows for fine angle adjustment not possible with shim adjustment.

  • ギブソン製レスポールの配線直し・セットアップです。

    配線が素人作業で音が出ない状態、ハンダ熱なのかパーツが壊れている状態です。

    電装パーツを全て新品交換し、問題無い状態に仕上げました。

    ハンダ付けは舐めて作業しない方が良いです。たった1ヵ所2カ所のハンダ付けでも音は結構変わります。

    調整後は音が良く、こうした電装系が良くできると音も良い傾向になります。

    またギブソン製は90年代前半に音が良いモデルが多いのでオススメです。
    逆に70～80年代は少ないかもしれません。

    弾き心地が国産のグレコやトーカイに似ています。
    とても良い個体だがこれきっかけにてジャパンヴィンテージのレスポールが良くできていると分かりました。
    コピーもこの頃の国産品は優秀ですね。

    This is a Gibson Les Paul rewiring and setup.

    The wiring was done by an amateur and there was no sound.

    We replaced all the electrical parts with new ones and finished it up with no problem.

    Soldering should not be done lightly. Even if you solder only one or two parts, the sound will change considerably.

    After the adjustment, the sound is good, and if the electrical system is well done, the sound tends to be good.

    Also, I recommend Gibson models made in the early 90’s because there are many models with good sound.
    On the other hand, there may be few in the 70s and 80s.

    The playing comfort is similar to Greco and Tokai made in Japan.
    I found out that Japan Vintage Les Paul is well made by this chance.
    The copy is also excellent in these days.

  • グレコ製EG500の配線直し・セットアップです。

    お客様の方で改造をして失敗している状態です。

    2Vo1To配線にてトグルはダミーでコントロールにセレクターが付いた状態です。

    配線はYoutubeやネット情報でいかにも誰でも簡単にできる様に錯覚してしまいますが難しい作業です。
    多くの場合は「音が出るレベル」で上手くいった様に思ってるだけで、音が良いレベルになるにはかなりの熟練が必要です。

    ハンダを当て過ぎによる熱劣化もありますので、パーツの寿命にも繋がる要素です。
    難しい作業はお店に頼みましょう。

    This is a rewiring and setup of a Greco EG500.

    This is a customer modification that has failed.

    It is a 2Vo1To wiring with a dummy toggle and a selector on the control.

    Wiring is a difficult task, although Youtube and internet information may give the illusion that it is easy for anyone to do.
    In many cases, it is just “sound level” that makes it sound good, but it takes a lot of skill to achieve a good sound level.

    Thermal degradation due to excessive solder application is also a factor that can lead to the life of the part.
    For difficult work, ask a store.

  • VOX製V847のMODです。

    今回の内容はトゥルーバイパス化・LED増設・安物ジャックを交換・配線の一部交換です。

    VOXの現行品は中身がどんどん安物になっていき、元から低価格なワウペダルですが現在の現行品は昔と中身が異なります。
    ただ最初からＤＣジャックが付く様になっている所だけは良いポイントです。

    どうしても音痩せが気になるのであればトゥルーバイパス化がお勧めです。ON/OFFを多用するエフェクターですのでバイパス時の音は気になってくると思います。

    後はＯＮなのかＯＦＦなのか見て分からないのでＬＥＤを追加する等。

    ワウペダルは必要な人には必須なエフェクターなだけあってこうした改造で大きな変化に感じると思います。

    18Ｖ化等は音がクリアになりますが、9Ｖの音が好きという人も居ますのでこの辺りは好みです。

    This is a VOX V847 mod.

    The modification includes true bypass, additional LEDs, replacement of cheap jacks, and partial wiring.

    The current VOX products are getting cheaper and cheaper, and although they were originally low-priced wah pedals, the current products are not the same as the old ones.
    The only good point is that the DC jack is attached from the beginning.

    If you are concerned about the sound, we recommend you to use true bypass.

    You can also add an LED to the wah pedal so you can’t tell if it’s on or off.

    Wah pedal is an essential effect pedal for those who need it, so I think you will feel a big change by such modification.

    I think that this is a big change. 18V will make the sound clearer, but some people like the 9V sound, so it is up to you.

  • スクワイヤー製ムスタングのトグルスイッチ交換・セットアップです。

    トグルにガリがあるので交換しました。

    ハイゲインなPUに交換されています。
    弁当箱ザグリなのですが注意点としてシングルコイル弁当箱ザグリにハムバッカーは入らない場合があります。

    弁当箱ザグリもただ広い20ｍｍ程度のザグリが掘られただけの場合や、ハムバッカーが付く事を想定して端側が深く掘られている場合の2種類があります。
    この端が深く掘られていない場合はハムバッカーの耳が干渉したり長いビスが干渉してＰＵを低く取り付けできない事やピックガードが閉まらない場合が出てきます。

    ビスを短く改造したりザグリを掘り足したりする必要があるので気を付けましょう。
    ピックガードを無理矢理削ってハムバッカーを付けた様な状態になっておりますが、ピックガードだけでなくザグリもハムバッカーが入る様に加工が必要です。

    セットアップしてみると弾き易いモデルです。

    スクワイヤーは値段も安く、中には音が良い物もあるので値段やメーカーで判断しない方が良い代表です。

    This is a toggle switch replacement and setup for a Squire Mustang.

    The toggle has been replaced because it has a buzzing sound.

    The PU has been replaced with a high-gain PU.
    The PU was replaced with a high gain PU.

    There are two types of Bento Box Counterbores: one is just a 20mm wide counterbore, and the other is a deep counterbore on the end side for a humbucker to be attached.
    If the ends are not deeply dug, the ears of the humbucker may interfere, or long screws may interfere, making it impossible to install the PU low, or the pickguard may not be able to close.

    It may be necessary to shorten the screws or dig a counterbore to close the pickguard.

    Once set up, this model is easy to play.

    Squier is inexpensive and some of them have good sound, so it is better not to judge by price or manufacturer.

    ライン6製ワイヤレス、RelayG10のDCジャック増設です。

    こちらは本当にメーカーが壊れる様に作っている様にしか思えないワイヤレスです。
    正直、購入は避けた方が良いでしょう。

    このUSB電源が壊れ易く、恐らくこの記事を検索で辿り着いたなら同じトラブルでここに来た事でしょう。
    過去にも同じトラブルを直した物もありますが、何度も抜き差しする状態での使用はお勧めしません。
    ボード等に固定し、基本は動かさない様にしないとこのUSB部分が弱いので簡単に破損して使用できなくなります。

    お客様の方で無理矢理ケースを開けようとして周りが傷だらけになっている状態です。
    自分で作業は無理と判断し、こちらに依頼されました。

    また5V電源なので注意が必要で、エフェクターの9Ｖではございませんので注意が必要です。

    穴を空けてＤＣジャックを増設しＵＳＢを排除、元のアダプタを使用して動作も問題無く行える様になりました。
    動作も確認ＯＫです。

    こうした改造は保証ができませんが、メーカーは最初から壊れ難い電源で作ってほしいと思います。
    壊れ易い構造で販売するのはどうなんだろう？思います。
    安物ならOKなのですが、それなりの値段する物ですからね。

    This is a DC jack addition for a RelayG10 wireless made by Line 6.

    This is a wireless that really seems like the manufacturer is making it to break.
    Frankly, it is best to avoid purchasing this product.

    The USB power supply is fragile and if you came across this article in a search, you probably came here with the same problem.
    We have fixed the same problem in the past, but we do not recommend using it in a situation where it is plugged in and unplugged repeatedly.
    If you do not fix it to the board and basically do not move it, the USB part is weak and can easily be damaged, making it unusable.

    The customer tried to forcibly open the case and the surrounding area is covered with scratches.
    The customer decided that he could not do the work by himself and asked us to do it.

    Also, please note that this is a 5V power supply and not the 9V of an effector.

    We made a hole and added a DC jack, eliminated the USB, and used the original adapter to make it work without any problems.
    The operation is also confirmed OK.

    I can not guarantee this kind of modification, but I hope that the manufacturer will make a power supply that is hard to break from the beginning.
