    お客様との相談でフレット交換時に指板Rを180Rから240Rに変更です。

    これはチョーキング時の音詰まりを解消できるので、180Rの際はチョーキングで音詰まりが起こる理由から弦高を低くできない点があります。
    240Rにすればチョーキングで音詰まりが無くなるので、指板に充分な厚みがある際は削って変更がお勧めです。

    電装系の状態悪いですが、ご自身で修理するとの事でこちらは着手しておりません。

    非常にサウンドが良く、フロントPUはリンディフレーリン製の物に交換したとの事ですがフロント・センター・リアと共に非常に良いサウンドが出せる個体でした。

    This is a fret replacement on a Fender USA Telecaster Custom.

    After consulting with the customer, we changed the fingerboard radius from 180R to 240R during the fret replacement.

    This resolves the issue of the sound getting muffled during bending, which is why, with an 180R radius, you can’t lower the string action—since bending causes the sound to get muffled.
    Changing to a 240R radius eliminates this muting issue, so if the fingerboard has sufficient thickness, we recommend sanding it down to make the change.

    The electronics were in poor condition, but since the customer planned to repair them themselves, we did not address this issue.

    The guitar had a fantastic sound. Although the front pickup had been replaced with a Lindy Fralin model, it was a great instrument that produced excellent tones from the front, middle, and rear pickups alike.

    G7製G7-STのPU交換・セットアップです。

    リアPUから音が出なくなったとの事でチェックしてみると、リアPUが壊れている状態でした。

    PUは突然死する事があるので消耗品です。原因は不明ですが衝撃や温度差・湿度差が大きい箇所で保管している場合でなくてもいきなり壊れる事があります。

    壊れたら基本は交換です。

    PU本体はこちらで用意ができないので、お勧めしたヴァンザンド製ヴィンテージプラスに交換しました。

    ナット高が低く死にかけ状態です。ナット交換をした方がより良い状態になりますので次回はナット交換がお勧めです。

    This is a pickup replacement and setup for a G7-ST made by G7.

    The customer reported that the rear pickup had stopped producing sound, so I checked it and found that the rear pickup was broken.

    Pickups are considered consumable parts because they can fail suddenly. The cause is unknown, but they can fail unexpectedly even if they aren’t stored in environments with extreme impacts, temperature fluctuations, or humidity changes.

    When a pickup fails, the standard procedure is to replace it.

    Since we couldn’t source the original pickup, we replaced it with the Vanzand Vintage Plus, which we recommended.

    The nut height is low, and the guitar is in poor condition. Replacing the nut would improve the guitar’s condition, so we recommend doing that next time.

  • クールZ製SGの配線直し・セットアップです。

    お客様持ち込みのルジール製PU、グレートヴィンテージに交換です。

    お客様持ち込みCTSポット×4へ交換、お客様との相談でボリュームポットにAカーブ、トーンにBカーブ使用する事となりました。

    ヴィンテージっぽい磁力落ち感、響きが良く出力が落ちた枯れた感が出て非常に良いサウンドです。

    こちらのグレートヴィンテージは販売モデルですが、ルジールはオーダーできるＰＵとしては低価格なのでお勧めです。

    ハムバッカーだと1個12000円程度で購入できると思うので、今だとセイモアダンカンよりも安いので普通にお勧めです。

    This is a rewiring and setup job for a Cool Z SG.

    We’re replacing the pickups with a customer-supplied Luzir “Great Vintage” set.

    We’re also replacing the pots with four customer-supplied CTS pots; after consulting with the customer, we decided to use an A-curve volume pot and a B-curve tone pot.

    The result is a fantastic sound with a vintage-like drop in magnetic field strength, great resonance, and a mellow, aged quality that comes from reduced output.

    While this “Great Vintage” model is a mass-produced version, Luzir pickups are highly recommended because they’re affordable for custom-order pickups.

    You can usually buy a single humbucker for around 12,000 yen, which is currently cheaper than Seymour Duncan pickups, so I definitely recommend them.

  • アイバニーズ製SR506Eのセットアップです。

    トラスロッドが2本入ったモデルで低価格帯の6弦ベースです。

    順反りして弦高がやや高い状態です。

    トラスロッドが2本入ったモデルは低音弦側と高音弦の両方にトラスロッドを効かす事となる為、必然的に捻じれが起き易いです。
    どうしても弦の太さが大きく異なる為、長く使っていけば捻じれやウネリが起きてきても不思議ではありません。

    特に調整に不具合はありませんでしたが低価格帯的なフレット状態な事もあり、弦高はそこまで低くは調整できませんが音が良く弾き易いモデルです。

    This is the setup for an Ibanez SR506E.

    It’s a budget-friendly 6-string bass featuring two truss rods.

    The neck is bowing outward, resulting in slightly high string action.

    Since models with two truss rods apply tension to both the low-string and high-string sides, they are inherently prone to twisting.
    Since the string gauges differ significantly, it’s not surprising that twisting or warping might occur over time with prolonged use.

    Although there were no particular issues with the adjustment, given the typical low-end condition of the frets, the string height couldn’t be set very low; however, it’s a model that sounds great and is easy to play.

  • フェルナンデス製布袋寅泰モデル、TE-95HTのセレクター交換・配線直しです。

    音が出ない状態です。

    内部で断線が起きており、断線箇所を直す事で音が出る状態になりました。

    セレクターの状態が悪く、切り替え時に音が出なくなる時があり新品に交換しました。

    セレクター交換だけでも音がクリアになったので、新品状態でも音が良くなる事が分かりました。

    This is a selector replacement and rewiring job for the Fernandez TE-95HT, the Tomoyasu Hotei model.

    The guitar was not producing any sound.

    There was a broken wire inside, and once we repaired the break, the guitar began producing sound again.

    The selector was in poor condition and would sometimes stop producing sound when switching gears, so we replaced it with a new one.

    Just replacing the selector alone made the sound clearer, so we confirmed that the sound quality improves even when the guitar is in like-new condition.

  • フェンダーカスタムショップ製ストラトキャスターのフレット交換です。

    かなりフレットが消耗した状態です。過去にフレットすり合わせ歴があり、元のフレット高も低い状態から大きく消耗している状態です。

    お客様との相談で元の指板R180のまま交換する事となりました。

    指板が180Rだと1弦チョーキングで音詰まりが発生する為、チョーキングするなら弦高低めができない状態となるのでフレット交換時に240Rに削って仕上げる事が多いです。
    ただこのモデルはラウンド貼り指板の為、指板が薄いので削って指板変更は元から不可です。

    トラスロッドの余り量も多く状態良好でした。

    ミディアムジャンボフレットに交換し、弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

    This is a fret replacement on a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster.

    The frets are quite worn down. The guitar has been leveled in the past, and the frets have worn down significantly from their originally low height.

    After consulting with the customer, we decided to replace the frets while maintaining the original fingerboard radius of 180.

    Since an 180R fingerboard causes the sound to get muffled when bending the 1st string—meaning you can’t set the string height low enough for bending—we often sand it down to a 240R radius during a fret replacement.
    However, because this model features a round-laminated fingerboard, the fingerboard is thin, so sanding it down to change the radius is not an option from the start.

    The truss rod had plenty of adjustment left and was in good condition.

    I replaced the frets with medium-jumbo ones, resulting in a guitar that’s a pleasure to play.

  • アイバニーズ製SR4AHの電池スナップ交換・セットアップです。

    音が出ない状態です。

    チェックしてみると電池スナップの断線でした。
    新しい電池スナップに交換し、音が出ました。

    大きく順反りして弾き難い状態をセットアップし弾き易い状態に直しました。

    弾き易く音が良い、プリアンプがパワフルなモデルです。

    This is a battery snap replacement and setup for an Ibanez SR4AH.

    It wasn’t producing any sound.

    Upon inspection, I found that the battery snap was broken.
    I replaced it with a new one, and it started producing sound again.

    I adjusted the neck, which was significantly bowing backward and making it difficult to play, to make it more comfortable to play.

    This model is easy to play, has great tone, and features a powerful preamp.

    ギルド製D-40のブリッジ剥がれ修正です。

    ブリッジが半分位、剥がれ掛けている状態のまま使用し続けていて歪みが出ている状態です。

    お客様と相談で接着する事になりました。基本的に剥がれたままで使用は絶対に止めた方が良いです。

    接着してみると特に問題無く直りました。
    歪みが出ているので綺麗に接着できないと思っていましたが、意外と綺麗に接着ができ数日も弦を張って様子見しましたが問題無さそうです。

    ブリッジが剥がれたままで使用していた事もありサドルが大きく削られており、直した後は弦高がかなり低い状態です。
    サドル溝に紙を挟んで弦高を上げ、特に問題無さそうな弦高で仕上げました。

    This is a repair for a peeling bridge on a Guild D-40.

    The customer had continued to play the guitar while the bridge was about halfway peeled off, resulting in some warping.

    After consulting with the customer, we decided to glue it back on. As a general rule, you should absolutely avoid playing the guitar with the bridge in this condition.

    Once we glued it back on, it was fixed without any issues.
    I had thought it wouldn’t be possible to glue it neatly due to the warping, but it actually bonded surprisingly well. I left the strings on for a few days to monitor it, and it seems to be holding up fine.

    Because the bridge had been used while peeling, the saddle was significantly worn down, resulting in very low string action after the repair.
    I inserted paper into the saddle grooves to raise the string action and finished the repair at a height that seems to be working well.

  • グレコ製DEVICEの配線直しです。

    かなりボロボロで音が出ない状態です。

    内部をチェックしてみるとジャックの断線と消耗している様なボロボロさでしたので新品に交換しました。

    他にも特殊なスイッチが壊れています。
    アクティブ回路を通るアウトプットを2方向切り替え（恐らく通常ルート・バッファのみ通るルート）ができる様子です。

    スイッチは同じ物が無いのでスルーし、基盤をチェックしてみますが基盤自体がダメな様子です。

    細かくチェックしてみると基盤にはアウト1アウト2と出力を変えられるスイッチが付いています。
    どちらもジャックに直結してみても音が出ません。

    相談の上で基盤を取り、パッシブ化して音が問題無く出せる状態になりました。

    音が出れば良いとの事で配線のみで仕上げました。

    I’m re-wiring a Greco DEVICE.

    It’s in pretty rough shape and isn’t producing any sound.

    Upon inspecting the interior, I found a broken jack and other parts that looked worn out, so I replaced them with new ones.

    There’s also a special switch that’s broken.
    It appears to allow you to switch the output path through the active circuit between two routes (presumably the standard route and a route that only passes through the buffer).

    Since I couldn’t find an identical replacement switch, I decided to skip it and check the circuit board instead, but it appears the board itself is faulty.

    Upon closer inspection, I noticed the board has switches labeled “Out 1” and “Out 2” for switching between outputs.
    Even when I connected both directly to the jacks, no sound came out.

    After consulting with the customer, I removed the circuit board and converted the unit to passive mode, which allowed it to produce sound without any issues.

    Since the customer just wanted it to produce sound, I finished the repair by simply re-wiring it.

    スプリングを2本にした上で調整する内容です。

    弾き易く音抜けが良いモデルで、音のタイトさと力強さのある音質です。

    歪み時の音が太く、分離が良いのでハイゲインでも扱い易い個体になるでしょう。

    This model is easy to play and has excellent sound projection, with a tight and powerful tone.

    It produces a full-bodied sound with great separation when distorted, so it should be easy to handle even at high gain levels.
