  • ニブラム製オーダーメイドベースのポット交換です。

    ガリがあるフロント・トーンを交換しました。

    内部の電装パーツがヴィンテージパーツ？で組まれている様子ですが、こうしたパーツも所詮は消耗品ですのでトラブルが出てくる様であれば交換が必要になってきます。

    音が出る時は良いのですが、やはり古い物を無理して使用を続けるのにも限度があります。

    特に電装パーツは消耗により音が劣化しますので、いくらヴィンテージパーツに拘っていても消耗していては音としてはダメな状態に変わりありません。
    デッドストック（当時の新品状態）であれば良いですが、そうでない中古品のヴィンテージパーツの使用はお勧めできません。

  • フェンダージャパン製ジャズベースのセットアップです。

    お客様の方で弦を間違って張っており、それが原因で音詰まりが発生しています。

    ロングスケールのベースにミディアムゲージ弦等の短い弦を間違えて張っております。
    この場合は弦が太い所がナットを超えないのでナット高が非常に低くなり音詰まりします。

    通常のロングスケール弦を張って調整したら問題無しでした。

    また大きく順反りしている状態を直して弾き易くしました。

    正直な所、弦メーカーも表記が分かり難くスケールの表記は分かり易いパッケージにしてほしいと思います。
    間違って買うにはベース弦は値段が高いので、大きな表記で誰が見ても分かる様な表記が必要に思います。

    This is a setup for a Fender Japan jazz bass.

    The customer has been putting on the wrong strings, which is causing the sound clogging.

    Short strings such as medium gauge strings have been mistakenly put on a long scale bass.
    In this case, the nut height is very low because the thickest part of the string does not go over the nut, resulting in a stuck sound.

    When I put normal long scale strings on it and adjusted it, there was no problem.

    I also fixed the large forward warp to make it easier to play.

    To be honest, I wish that the string manufacturers would make the scale notation easier to understand in their packaging, as it is difficult to understand.
    Bass strings are too expensive to buy by mistake, so I think they need to be marked in a large font so that anyone can see them.

  • エレクトロハーモニクス製スモールクローンのフットスイッチ交換です。

    最初からトゥルーバイパスになっている個体です。

    フットスイッチの消耗でクリーン時に音が出ない時がある状態です。
    フットスイッチは消耗品ですので、基本的に使っていれば交換が必要な故障が出てきます。

    新品へ交換する事で問題無い状態となりました。

    電源が3.5ｍｍイヤホンジャックなので電池動作ですが、クリップで直結して電源を入れる事は可能です。

    メーカーはエフェクターも全て同じDCジャックに共通させてほしいです。

    This is a footswitch replacement for an Electro Harmonix small clone.

    This unit has been on true bypass from the beginning.

    The footswitch is worn out and sometimes no sound is produced when clean.
    The footswitch is a consumable item, so basically, if you use it, it will fail and need to be replaced.

    By replacing the footswitch with a new one, it is now in a problem-free condition.

    The power supply is a 3.5mm earphone jack, so it is battery operated, but it can be directly connected to the power supply with a clip.

    I wish the manufacturer would make all effectors share the same DC jack.

  • Kiesel OSIRIS ナット溝切り調整＆セットアップ マルチスケール ヘッドレスモデル

  • キーセル製オリシスのナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

    お客様がメーカーから直接購入した物との事で、新品で購入したばかりの物です。

    状態が目を疑う様な状態なのですがナット高が高過ぎる、恐らくナットを付けただけで全く溝切り加工していない状態です。
    ナット高が安物ギターの様にかなり高い状態です。

    キーセルはちょっと前にも配線ミス＋断線した状態のまま新品で出荷されている事も見ている為、昔と違い売れてきて品質は下がってきております。
    この辺りも新しい情報にアップグレードして下さい。
    昔は私も本当に品質が良かったのでYoutubeでも絶賛して動画で紹介しましたが、今の状態を見ると勧められません。
    そうした情報もこうして出していますので最新な物に調べて勉強して下さい。

    また気になる点としてマルチスケールのギターですがPUは対応している？のか謎な所があります。
    フィッシュマンの中身はバータイプのポールピースでしょうか？それなら問題無い？と思いましたが明らか端の弦、特にフロント1弦とリアは1弦7弦の音量が他よりも少し小さいです。

    これはマルチスケールにより斜めになっている事でPUも斜めに付いているのですが、PU自体は普通の物（マルチスケールに合わせてPU本体が斜めになっている訳じゃない）です。
    これによりポールピースの位置がズレる為、端側の弦はポールピースの音を拾える範囲から遠い事で音が小さくなっている可能性が高いです。

    これはオーダーされたからこうなっている？のか詳細不明ですが、クラフトマン目線から見たらこのPUを使用するのは好ましくない（マルチスケールに合わせて斜め加工されたPUを付けないといけない）と思うのですが、これはオーダーした内容が悪いのかメーカーが悪いのか不明です。

    ナットを溝切り、調整する事でかなり弾き易くなりました。
    PUの件は不明なので何も言えませんが状態としてここに疑問を持たず出荷している所だと今後の購入は考えた方が良いかもしれません。

    This is a nut grooving adjustment and setup for a Keisel Olysis.

    The customer purchased this item directly from the manufacturer, and it was just purchased new.

    The condition of the guitar is unbelievable, the nut height is too high, probably because the nut was just put on and not grooved at all.
    The nut height is very high, like a cheap guitar.

    The quality of the guitar has been declining since it was sold in the past, as we have seen some new guitars being shipped with wiring errors and broken wires.
    Please upgrade this area to new information.
    In the past, the quality was really good and I introduced it on Youtube with rave reviews, but I can’t recommend it now.
    I am also providing such information here, so please check the latest information and study it.

    Also, I am wondering if the PU is compatible with multi-scale guitars? I am not sure if it is compatible with PUs or not.
    Is it a bar type pole piece inside the Fishman? If so, is there any problem? I thought so, but obviously the volume of the strings at the ends, especially the front first string and the rear first and seventh strings, is a little lower than the others.

    This is because the PU is also at an angle due to the multi-scale, but the PU itself is normal (the PU itself is not at an angle to match the multi-scale).
    This makes the position of the pole piece shifted, so the strings on the end side are far from the range where the pole piece can pick up the sound, which is likely to make the sound quieter.

    Is this because it was ordered this way? I am not sure if this is because it was ordered this way or not, but from a craftsman’s point of view, it is undesirable to use this PU (it is necessary to put a PU that is processed diagonally to fit multi-scale), but I am not sure if this is a bad order or the manufacturer’s fault.

    By grooving and adjusting the nut, it is much easier to play.
    I can’t say anything about the PU because I don’t know about the PU, but if a place ships without questioning this as a condition, you might want to think about purchasing it in the future.

    ディーン製MLのフロイドローズ難点修理・セットアップです。

    今回はフロイドローズで起こるトラブルが多数起きた状態の修理です。

    メルカリで購入したとの事ですがかなり状態が悪く、当然ながらこれら状態は知らされていないとの事です。

    スタッドブッシュ抜けにより弦を張ると弦高が上がってくる（当然アームを使うのはNG）、ナイフエッジ消耗でチューニングが不安、サドルの弦をロックするビス山が壊れて弦が張れない状態です。
    ビス部は確実に素人作業で壊した物ですね。

    ナイフエッジの消耗は基本的に起こります。弦を張りっぱなしが良くないのはネックだけでなくこうしたパーツの高負荷部分にも同じ事が言えます。
    弦を張る事自体が大きな負荷なので、それら負荷が常に消耗させている意識を持ちましょう。
    弾いていない時に無駄に消耗させている行為です。

    スタッド部は弦を張る方向に強い力が掛かるので、斜め方向に穴が広がって抜けてきます。これも長年の消耗で起こる症状です。
    これも弦を緩めて保管する事で長持ちさせれます。
    ただし今回の場合は例外で、新品時点で最初からガバガバだった可能性があります。
    スタッド部の穴に塗装が乗っており、穴も変形が見られない事から最初から抜ける位の穴で空いていた様子で非常に精度が悪いです。
    2本とも手の力で抜く事ができました。
    こちらは値段も含めて相談し、接着で仕上げる事となりました。

    壊れているサドルは手持ちのフロイドローズモデルのサドル2個を交換して対処しました。
    あくまで応急処置の様な物で後から純正パーツに交換する必要があります。
    また他のサドルも怪しい感じなのでフロイドローズ本体を交換した方が良いです。

    ただフロイドローズも現在は販売が安定しておらず、見つけても凄い値上がりでびっくりする値段になっています。

    今後はフロイドローズ付きギターを購入する際は注意が必要です。
    パーツが入手できない・パーツが高額に悩まされると思います。

    これでアームも使用できて問題無く弾ける状態に仕上げる事ができました。

    This is a Floyd Rose difficulty repair and setup for a Dean ML.

    This repair is for a condition that caused many of the problems that occur with Floyd Rose.

    The owner of the instrument purchased it from Mercury, but it was in a very bad condition, and of course he was not informed about these conditions.

    The stud bushings are missing, causing the string height to rise when the strings are stretched (naturally, using an arm is not an option), the knife-edge is worn out, making tuning insecure, and the screw threads that lock the strings on the saddle are broken, making it impossible to stretch the strings.
    The screw part was definitely broken by amateur work.

    Knife-edge wear is a common occurrence. It is not good to leave the strings on the neck, but the same can be said for these highly stressed parts.
    Stringing itself is a big load, so be aware that these loads are constantly causing wear and tear.
    When you are not playing, you are wasting energy.

    The studs are subjected to a strong force in the direction of stringing, which causes the holes to widen and come loose in a diagonal direction. This is another symptom of wear and tear over the years.
    This can also be prolonged by loosening the strings and storing them.
    However, this case is an exception, and it may have been a governor from the beginning when it was new.
    The paint was on the stud holes, and the holes were not deformed, so it seems that the holes were made to the point where they could be pulled out from the beginning, which is very inaccurate.
    I was able to pull out both studs by hand.
    After discussing the price and other details, we decided to glue them back together.

    The broken saddles were replaced with two Floyd Rose model saddles that we had on hand.
    This is just a stopgap measure and will need to be replaced with genuine parts later.
    The other saddles also look suspicious, so it is better to replace the Floyd Rose itself.

    However, sales of Floyd Rose are not stable at the moment, and even if you can find one, the price has gone up dramatically and the price is astonishingly high.

    In the future, be careful when purchasing a guitar with a Floyd Rose.
    I think you will suffer from unavailability of parts and high cost of parts.

    Now I can use the arm and make it ready to play without any problems.

  • フェンダーUSA製90年代テレキャスターのセットアップです。

    消耗が凄く全体の状態が悪いが何とか使えるレベルです。相当使いこまれていますね。

    ナット高が消耗で音が詰まり気味、フレットの消耗が全体的に凄い、電装が交換されている様で内部状態が悪いので一度全てリペアが必要な個体です。

    トラスロッドの効きも悪く、調整でトラスロッド限界となりました。

    フェンダー系で多いので気を付けて確認しないといけない事はトラスロッドの効き具合です。
    効きが悪い個体も多いので、そうした個体はトラスロッドの余り量が多くても殆ど回しても反りが直らないので実質トラスロッドの余裕が無い事になります。
    順反りを直しただけでトラスロッドが限界になる事も多いので、長持ちする個体を選ばないと泣きを見ると思います。

  • Squier ストラトキャスター Eシリアル国産 ナット溝切り調整＆セットアップ

  • スクワイヤー製ストラトキャスターのナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

    古い日本製のEシリアルになります。この頃は低価格帯でも良い個体が多かったですね。

    トラスロッドを回してみると効きがあまり良くない個体ですが、年代を考えたら状態は良い方です。

    ナットが別のナットを移植している？のか、溝にRがあるタイプだが全く合っていないのを加工して付け直し、それでもナット高が非常に高いので削って直しました。

    チョーキングで音詰まりする箇所があります。Rがキツイとチョーキングで音詰まりは起こりますがハイポジションのフレット状態が良くないです。
    すり合わせした方が良い状態です。

    PUがプリボラ1967に交換されているとの事で音が良くハーフトーンも良いサウンドです。リアが程好いパワーがあり使い易いストラトです。

  • エピフォンエリート製ES-335のセットアップです。

    何故か弦高がかなり低い状態により音が詰まる状態です。

    大体の楽器屋では弦高が高く弾き難い上に不具合箇所を見つけ難い状態になっている事が多いのですが、これはその逆パターンです。
    恐らくまともにチェックせず渡したと思います。

    調整する事でまともに弾ける状態になりました。

    エピフォンは箱物が良いモデルが多いので、本家ギブソンでなくても良かったりするパターンがあります。
    近年は精度も低くなってきておりますので購入時は細かく見る必要があるので要注意です。

    This is a setup for an Epiphone Elite ES-335.

    For some reason, the string height is quite low and the sound is stuck.

    大きく順反りしハイポジションに音詰まりが起きている状態です。

    順反りは限度を超えると弦高が高く弾き難くなる他にハイポジションで音が詰まってきます。
    この辺りはトラスロッドの調整でネックを真っ直ぐにする事で直す事ができますが、トラスロッドの余りが無い場合は対処不能となります。

    調整したら見違える程に弾き易くなりました。

    電送系がバルトリーニPUとXTCTの組み合わせに変更されており音も良いです。

    バルトリーニの様に世間ではマイナーなPUは非常に良く、これが標準で搭載されていない事も業界の闇を感じます。
    簡単に音が良くなっては困るのか、気が付いた人は得をするPUです。

  • スクワイヤー製の古い日本製年代、JVシリアルストラトキャスターのナット交換です。

    ナットが消耗で開放弦が音詰まり、順反りさせて無理矢理使用している状態です。

    全体のフレット消耗が凄いが音詰まりは無いので相談にて保留となりました。

    ナットを交換し問題無い状態に調整できました。

    ナット・フレットは楽器にとって非常に大事な部分です。
    ここに問題があると楽器としてかなり性能ダウンする箇所となりますので消耗を感じたら早い段階で直す事をお勧めします。
