  • アイバニーズ製SR405のセットアップです。

    大きく順反りし弾き難い状態です。

    アイバニーズ製の低価格帯もちゃんと調整さえすれば弾き易く音も良いのですが、新品でも個体差により長持ちが期待できない物も多く存在します。
    こればかりは近年の木材が柔らか過ぎなので、その辺りも考えて物を買わないと完全に短期間の消耗品となってしまいます。

    調整後はトラスロッドに余裕が殆ど無い状態になりました。
    5弦ベースは張力が強いので基本的にトラスロッドの余り量は少なくなる傾向になります。

    張力が強いので弦を張るだけで大きく順反りします。
    そこをトラスロッドで調整するので多く回す必要があり、木材が柔らかいとその分大きく順反りします。
    酷い場合はネック自体は真っ直ぐだが弦を張ると大きく順反りする→トラスロッドを限界まで回してやっと真っ直ぐに調整できる物も多くなってきました。
    リペアマンでもバカが多いですが、弦を張りっぱなしで良いとか言ってる人は避けて下さい。
    現実を知らな過ぎか、間違った情報を教えて客に楽器を壊させて買い替えや修理で儲ける事しか考えていません。

    5弦ベースを購入するなら補強材が入っている物を買うと長持ちし易いです。
    当たり前ですが買う際にトラスロッドの余り量を必ず確認して下さい。
    5弦ベースに限らず新品初期状態で「トラスロッドの余り量が少ない＝木材が柔らかく長持ちさせるには不向き」と考えて間違いありません。

    音が良く弾き易いモデルです。
    トラスロッドの余り量的に安心して使用し続けられる状態ではありませんが弦は緩めて保管する・加湿を行い乾燥させない様にする事でこれ以上反らない様にする努力が必要です。

    This is an Ibanez SR405 setup.

    It is hard to play because of the large forward bow.

    Ibanez low-priced guitars are easy to play and sound good as long as they are properly adjusted, but there are many new guitars that cannot be expected to last long due to individual differences.

    After the adjustment, there is almost no room left in the truss rod.
    The truss rod has little room to spare because of the high tension of a 5-string bass.

    Since the tension is so strong, just by stretching the strings, a large amount of forward bending will occur.
    The truss rod must be turned a lot to adjust the tension, and if the wood is soft, this will cause a large amount of forward bowing.
    In the worst case, the neck itself is straight, but when the strings are stretched, the neck warps greatly, and many of them can only be adjusted straight by turning the truss rod to the limit.
    There are many repairmen who are idiots, but please avoid those who say that it is OK to leave the strings on.
    They are either too ignorant of reality, or they only think about making money by giving wrong information and making customers break their instruments to buy replacements or repairs.

    If you buy a 5-string bass, buy one with reinforcement so it will last longer.
    Of course, you should always check the amount of truss rod left when you buy a bass.
    Not only 5-string basses, but you can be sure that “a small amount of truss rod left over” in the initial state of a new bass means that the wood is soft and not suitable for a long life.

    This model has a good sound and is easy to play.
    The amount of truss rod left is not enough to keep it in good condition, but you need to make an effort to keep it from warping any further by keeping the strings loose and humidifying it to prevent it from drying out.

  • フェンダーメキシコ製ストラトキャスターの配線直し・セットアップです。

    ネックが90年代メキシコ製、ボディが80年代フェンダーUSAの仕様との事です。

    PUがエリックジョンソンモデルの様子、コンデンサにダイレクトロンを搭載しております。

    仕様も豪華に改造されており音が良く、分離が良くハーフトーンの音も綺麗な個体です。

    ストラトはネックやボディを簡単に交換でき、パーツも豊富にあるので自分好みに改造し易いギターと言えます。

    メキシコ製だろうがUSA製だろうが音は正直関係無く、大事な事は個体差なので触って音が良かったネックとボディを見つけて組み合わせると良いストラトが組みあがります。

    This is a Fender Mexican Stratocaster rewired and setup.

    フェンダーカスタムショップ製ストラトキャスターのサドル交換・セットアップです。

    今回はハイウッド製サドルに交換です。

    元よりも音が太くなる印象はありますが特別凄く音が良くなる訳ではない印象です。

    サドル単体でも高額なパーツなので余裕が無いと買い難いパーツですがビス頭が突き出てこない意味では扱い易いかもしれません。

    サドルもピッチ（幅）があるので、幅を狭くしたりする際にもサドル交換はお勧めです。
    特に古い年代モデル仕様はピッチが広い（11.3ｍｍ）と指板サイド近くに1弦が寄るので弦落ちし易くなる事も多くなります。
    なので人によってはサドル幅を小さくする為にサドル交換を行う事も知っておくと自分のギターを弾き易く簡単にカスタムできるのでお勧めです。

    This is a saddle replacement and setup for a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster.

    This time, we replaced the saddle with a high wood saddle.

    The sound is thicker than the original, but it does not sound better.

    The saddle itself is an expensive part, so it is difficult to buy unless you can afford it, but it may be easier to handle in the sense that the screw heads do not stick out.

    Saddles also have a pitch (width), so replacing the saddle is recommended when narrowing the width.
    Especially for older models, if the pitch is wide (11.3mm), the first string will be closer to the side of the fretboard, which will often cause the strings to fall off.
    Therefore, it is recommended that you know that some people may need to change the saddle to reduce the width of the saddle so that they can easily customize their guitar to make it easier to play.

    ギブソンカスタムショップ製レスポールのフレットすり合わせです。

    ぶつけたのかフレットに弦の跡があり引っ掛かる状態です。

    全体消耗も含めすり合わせで対処しました。

    中古品等にも多いですが弾く上で難点がある部分はナット・フレットに多く見られます。
    これらは自然に良くなる事はありませんのでリペア必須になる箇所になります。

    中古品も販売側が素人レベルな所も多いので難点を隠して売ってたり、難点かどうかすらも分からないまま売っている事も多いので気を付けましょう。

    This is a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul fret grinder.

  • PRS SE製カスタム24のナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

    お客様ご自身でナット交換されており溝高が高い状態で弾き難いです。

    溝切り済みナットは基本的に本体に合った高さになりませんので、必ず溝切りを行って合わせないと弦高が高く弾き難い状態になります。

    溝切りを行う事で弾き易い状態となりました。

    PRS純正PUに交換されていて音が良いです。
    純正PUは高価であまり中古でも出回らないので珍しいPUでもあります。

    This is a nut groove adjustment and setup for a PRS SE Custom 24.

    ギブソン製ファイヤーバードのPU交換・セットアップです。

    お客様持ち込みのダンカンカスタムショップPUに交換しました。
    ミニハムは選択肢が少ないので限られた物で交換する他ありません。

    音が柔らかく扱い易いサウンド、テレキャスターを良くした様なサウンド傾向です。
    キャラクターが大きく変化した様な印象です。ミニハムはどうしても癖強なサウンド傾向かと思いますがその辺りが緩和され扱い易くなったので使用できる音が増えた印象です。

    This is a Gibson Firebird PU replacement and setup.

    We replaced it with a Duncan Custom Shop PU brought in by the customer.
    There are only a few choices of mini hums, so we had to replace it with a limited number of them.

    The sound is soft and easy to handle.
    I have the impression that the character has changed a lot. I think the mini-ham has a tendency to sound habitual, but now it is easier to handle, so I have the impression that the number of usable sounds has increased.

    PRS SE製カスタム24のPU交換です。

    リア81を85に交換です。ハンダ付けタイプの古いモデルになります。

    音のミドル感が柔らかくなり、フロントの85とバランスが良くなって扱い易くなりました。
    PUの組み合わせは好みですが81はミドルが出て歪み用な音ですので、バランスが良いのは85になります。

    歪ませるとやや曇った古いサウンドが出るので、イメージとしてはヴィンテージギターの様なサウンドでアクティブPUという感じもしません。
    昔のEMGは明らか音が良いので、現行品と違う点があるかもしれません。

    This is a PU replacement for a Custom 24 made by PRS SE.

    Rear 81 is replaced with 85. It is an old soldering type model.

    The middle of the sound has been softened and the balance with the front 85 has been improved, making it easier to handle.
    The 81 has a middle sound and is for distortion, so the 85 has a better balance.

    When distorted, it has a slightly cloudy old sound, so it sounds like a vintage guitar in my image, and it does not feel like an active PU.
    The old EMGs obviously sound better, so there may be some differences from the current product.

  • YAMAHA SFX-1 配線直し＆セットアップ

  • ヤマハ製SFX-1の配線直し・セットアップです。

    ブースター搭載のモデルで音が急に小さく鳴ったりする様子です。

    元のジャック配線が（黒アース・白が電池アース・赤がホット線）でややこしい配線となっております。

    配線をお客様の要望でブースターを外し1Vo仕様に変更しました。

    中古品で購入されたとの事ですが間違ったビスが付いている箇所があり、木ネジが使われててビス山が壊れている箇所があります。
    中古品は前オーナーの素人イジリで壊れている事も多いので、現在は入手できないパーツ等に破損が起こっていると厄介です。

    歪ませると音が太くレンジが広い、ディマジオのモデルにある様なサウンドでした。

    トラスロッドが限界近いので弾いた後は弦を緩め保管していないと将来的に厳しい状態です。

    This is a rewiring and setup of a Yamaha SFX-1.

    It is a model with a booster and the sound suddenly becomes quiet.

    The original jack wiring (black ground, white battery ground, and red hot wire) is complicated.

    We changed the wiring to 1Vo specification by removing the booster at the customer’s request.

    The screws are used wood screws, and the screw threads are broken.
    Used instruments are often damaged due to amateur tinkering by the previous owner, so it is troublesome if parts that are not currently available are damaged.

    When distorted, the sound is fat and has a wide range, like a DiMaggio model.

    The truss rod is near its limit, so after playing it, you need to loosen the strings and store it, otherwise it will be in a tough condition in the future.

  • ギブソン製レスポールのセットアップです。

    かなり音が良い個体でした。
    ギブソンのレスポールはカラーで音が決まる訳はありませんがハニーバーストのモデルは音が良い物が多い様な気もします。

    塗装も多少は厚みにより音に変化を与えるので、同じ色を使用しバースト部分を濃くする塗装と色を分けて塗装するかで厚みに影響も何かしら起こるかもしれません。
