    ギブソン製サンダーバードのネック折れリペアです。

    過去に修理歴があるとの事ですが、今回で折れて2回目の修理となる事です。

    接着のみで直す事ができました。
    接着で直す判断としては単純に値段が関係します。
    直す方法として接着のみなら安く済みますがザグリを入れて補強となれば値段がかなり大きく高額となるので、変な折れ方さえしなければ大体は接着で直せるかと思います。

    フレットの消耗が全体的に大きい状態なので正しく使用したければこのフレットの高さだとすり合わせは厳しいのでフレットの交換が必要な状態です。

    また元からナットが浮いている様に付いているので、ナットの消耗を無理矢理高さが高くなる様に付いている様子です。

    This is a broken neck repair for a Gibson Thunderbird.

    The guitar has been repaired in the past, but this is the second time it has been broken.

    We were able to repair it only by gluing.
    The decision to repair by gluing is simply related to the price.
    If it is only glued, the cost is low, but if it is reinforced with a counterbore, the cost will be much higher.

    The frets are worn out, so if you want to use it correctly, you will need to replace the frets as they are too high to be worn out.

    Also, the nut is floating from the beginning, so it looks like the nut was attached to the guitar to force the wear and tear on the nut to make it higher.

  • グレコ製レスポールの配線直しです。

    お客様の方で全体の配線をミスしており修正する形です。

    ディマジオのDP260・DP261が付いています。

    音が明るくはっきりしたサウンドで磁力が落ちた様な古い年代製の音がする雰囲気を再現しています。
    ディマジオは昔から優秀で低価格なPUを販売していて世界で一番売れているPUメーカーだそうですが日本では何故かダンカンの方が主流な様に見れます。

    配線はお客様の要望でセンターでフェイズアウトサウンドになる様に配線しております。

    フェイズアウトサウンドはムスタング等のスイッチで出す事ができますが余程の特殊なサウンドを出したい限りは使用しない音と思いますのが要望があれば配線可能です。

    This is a rewiring of a Greco Les Paul.

    The customer made a mistake in the overall wiring and we are correcting it.

    It has a DiMaggio DP260 and DP261.

    The sound is bright and clear and has the feel of an older model with a less magnetized sound.
    DiMaggio has always sold excellent and low-priced PUs and is said to be the best-selling PU manufacturer in the world, but for some reason Duncan seems to be more mainstream in Japan.

    The wiring was done by customer’s request so that the phase out sound is produced at the center.

    The phase out sound can be produced with a switch on a mustang, but it is not used unless you want to produce a very special sound, but it can be wired if requested.

  • バッカス製テレキャスターのフレットすり合わせ・ナット溝切り調整です。

    全体の消耗が大きい状態です。

    低価格ながら音質が良いモデルが結構あるので、2～3万円のモデルでもプロでも使用してる方が居ますので値段は音に関係無いです。

    フレット消耗をフレットすり合わせで直し、ナット溝切り調整を行いナット高が高い状態を直し弾き易い状態に仕上げました。

    テレキャスターもフロントPUが通常と異なるモデルが低価格帯にも多くなってきて選択肢が多くなっておりますので、安い物＝ダメな物と思わず触ってみる事をお勧めします。
    音だけは良かったりするモデルも多いので、昔のモデルしか知らない人からしたらびっくりすると思います。

  • アイバニーズ製AZ2204のセットアップです。

    大きな順反りで弦高が高い状態です。弾き難い状態でも楽器屋では普通に売っているので調整してもらってから試奏を申し込んだ方が良いです。

    調整してみると弾き易く音が良いモデルです。
    シングルが特に音が良いですね。

    Ibanez製は低価格帯でも弾き易く音質が良いモデルが多いですが2020年代からインドネシア製に品質が結構変わってきているので注意が必要です。
    新品でもこの個体の様に初期状態で調整がいい加減だったり音が詰まる様な状態の物も出てきているので購入時はチェックの上で購入しましょう。

    This is an Ibanez AZ2204 setup.

    It has a large forward bow and high string height. Even though it is hard to play, it is usually sold at music stores, so it is better to have it adjusted before applying for a trial.

    After adjustment, the model is easy to play and has a good sound.
    The singles sound especially good.

    Ibanez has many models in the low price range that are easy to play and have good sound quality, but be aware that the quality has changed quite a bit since the 2020’s to Indonesian made.
    Even new models, like this one, are sometimes in a poor state of initial adjustment or have a stuck sound, so check before you buy.

    ワーモス製コンポーネントベースのプリアンプ交換です。

    持ち込まれたムーン製のプリアンプASSY交換です。

    通常のバルトリーニXTCTがコントロールプレートに組まれた状態だけのパーツなので、自分で配線できる人が購入すると割高なパーツとなるので注意が必要です。

    以前よりも音が太く低音・高音のレンジが広いベースとなりました。

    This is a pre-amp replacement for a component bass made by Warmoth.

    This is a preamplifier assembly replacement for a brought-in Moon preamp.

    Note that this part is only a normal Bartolini XTCT assembled on a control plate, so it is a rather expensive part to buy if you can wire it by yourself.

    The sound is now thicker than before and the bass has a wider range of bass and treble.

  • アトリエZ製ベータ4のセットアップです。

    ボディをレリックされたラッカーにリフィニッシュされています。
    ネック塗装はポリのままの状態です。

    音の形があり柔らかさのバランスが非常に良いベースです。

    意外とオールラッカーだから音が良くなる訳ではなく、ネックとボディでポリとラッカーを分けるのも音的に有りかもしれません。
    ポリの音の明白さとラッカーの柔らかさが音に良いブレンドされた感があります。

    ネックポケットザグリが妙に深く、調整でシム4枚必要な状態でした。
    全体的にも弾き易くなり音質も良いのでかなり良い個体です。

    This is a Beta 4 setup made by Atelier Z.

    The body has been refinished in a reliced lacquer.
    The neck paint is still poly.

    This bass has a very good balance of sound shape and softness.

    Surprisingly, the sound is not better because it is all lacquer, and it may be sonically possible to separate poly and lacquer on the neck and body.
    The sound is a good blend of the plainness of the poly sound and the softness of the lacquer.

    The neck pocket counterbore was oddly deep and required 4 shims for adjustment.
    Overall, this is a pretty good unit as it is easy to play and has good sound quality.

    モガミ製3368のシールドケーブル製作です。

    5ｍを3本、1ｍを1本の製作依頼です。

    最もコストパフォーマンスが高いケーブルとして定番になってきていますね。

    世の中のケーブルは情弱商売となっており、値段が高いのに全然良くない物が平気で有名アーティストやメディアで宣伝され知らない人が買って損するビジネスモデルの分野です。
    音が良く丈夫なケーブルは低価格帯から普通にあり、ケーブルは基本モガミ製で充分な性能です。

    またプラグもFP-703は高価なパーツにはなりますが、こうした所にお金を掛けた方が良いです。
    市販品の完成品はプラグが安物or普通の物だったりする事が多いので、自分で作るか製作を頼むかした方が同じ長さでも完成品を買うより安く済みます。

    オーディオオカルトという言葉がある様にケーブル関係は過剰な広告で騙され易い分野でもあるので気を付けましょう。
    この3368ならまず音質が全体的に良く整っていますので、これで基本はどんなジャンルも大丈夫です。

  • ワーウィック製ストリーマーのセットアップです。

    大きく順反りし弦高が非常に高い状態です。まともに弾ける状態ではありません。

    またネックポケットも深く、シムを合計2枚入れて丁度良くなりました。

    新品でも低価格帯は昔と比べ精度が落ちている様に思います。

    音は良いのですが初期状態では恐らく弾き難いと思うので正しくセットアップする事が重要そうですね。

    This is a Warwick streamer setup.

    The strings are very high with a large forward bow. It is not in a state where it can be played properly.

    Also, the neck pocket is too deep, so I put 2 shims in total to get it just right.

    I think the accuracy of the low-priced new models is lower than in the past.

  • ギブソン製レスポールのトグルスイッチ交換・セットアップです。

    トグル切り替えで音が出なくなる時があるとの事です。

    電装系パーツは消耗品ですので、特にギターでは多用するセレクターは壊れ易いです。
    ジャックは定番に一番壊れるパーツですが、ギターの多くはジャック→セレクターの順で大体は壊れます。
    ストラト等はボリューム操作を多用するとボリュームポットが次に壊れ易くなります。

    トグルスイッチを交換しセットアップする事で問題無い状態に復元しました。

    This is a toggle switch replacement and setup for a Gibson Les Paul.

    The guitar sometimes loses sound when toggling the toggle switch.

    Electrical parts are consumables, so the selector, which is used a lot on guitars, is especially prone to breakage.
    The jack is the most common part to break, but most guitars break in this order: jack, selector, and so on.
    The volume pot on a strat or other guitar is the next most likely to break due to heavy use of the volume control.

    By replacing the toggle switch and setting up the guitar, we have restored it to a problem-free state.
