ギブソン製SGのセットアップです。

順反りで弦高が高い状態です。

どのギターも共通している事ですが弾き難い＝順反りしている事が大半です。

サドルだけで調整するとかなりアンバランスな状態になり、弾き難い上に音詰まりが起こる様な状態になります。

調整し弾き易い状態に仕上げました。

音が良い個体です。SGは元々癖ある音がする事が多いので、ノーマル時は扱い難いと思うのでPUの高さ調整・PUのポールピース高調整でかなり印象が良くなると思います。

This is a setup for a Gibson SG.

It had a forward bow and high string action.

This is common with most guitars: if it’s hard to play, it’s usually because it’s bowed forward.

Adjusting only the saddles creates a very unbalanced state, making it hard to play and prone to muffled notes.

I adjusted it to make it playable.

This is a great-sounding specimen. SG guitars often have a distinctive, quirky tone out of the box, so I think the standard setup can be tricky to handle. Adjusting the pickup height and the pole piece height significantly improves the overall impression.
