フェンダーUSA製ジャズベース5のセットアップです。

新品購入ですがアウトレット品（詳細は不明）との事です。

センターズレが起こっており、弦落ちし易いとの事で直しました。

高額なモデルでも意外とネックポケットが広かったりしますので、ネックのセンターズレ等は高額なモデルでも起こっていたりします。
本来は楽器屋で調整した状態で販売するのですが、近年は楽器屋の従業員も素人が増えてきているので気が付かずに販売するケースも多くなっています。

そしてびっくりなのは新品なのにトラスロッドの差し込み口がナメっている状態です。
これがアウトレット品として販売されていた理由？かもしれませんが購入したお客様には購入時の説明は一切無かったとの事です。

アウトレット品は本当に注意が必要で、楽器屋でも特に理由を明記して販売する事はありません。
なので知識を持って「何が理由で安くなっているのか？」を聞いた方が良いです。
基本的に安くなる理由があるはずです。

ナメっているのですがロッドを回す事はできたのですが恐らく力加減が分からないとナメって回せなくなる状態かと思います。

トラスロッドの余り量も少ない状態です。
近年は新品でも最初からトラスロッドの余り量が少ない事が非常に多くなったので、そうした状態の楽器は基本的に長持ちしないと思った方が良いでしょう。

Purchased new, but reportedly an outlet item (details unknown).

The center was off, causing strings to drop easily, so I fixed it.

What’s surprising is that even though it’s new, the truss rod socket is stripped.
This might be why it was sold as an outlet item? However, the customer who bought it said they received no explanation at the time of purchase.

Outlet items truly require caution; even music stores rarely specify the exact reason for discounting them.
Therefore, it’s wise to ask knowledgeable staff, “What’s the reason for the discount?”
There’s usually a reason behind the lower price.

Although the rod was stripped, it could still be turned. However, without knowing the correct amount of force, it would likely become impossible to turn without stripping it further.

The truss rod also has very little adjustment range left.
In recent years, even new instruments often come with minimal truss rod adjustment range from the factory. Instruments in this condition generally won’t last very long.
