大きく順反りしてかなり弦高が高い状態です。

その他にジャック消耗で音が途切れる状態ですので新品に交換しました。

正しく調整する事で弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

サゴ製オーダーベースのセットアップ・ジャック交換です。

ジャックが接触不良で音出ない状態、お客様の要望で汚れた状態でしたので預かりにて簡易的な全体清掃です。

後から18V改造されている様子で内部では電池が固定されていない状態、他にもポットにガリ・プリアンプの両面テープ剥がれで固定が甘い状態です。
中古品は素人改造されている事が多いので、トラブルが起こる可能性がある事が多いので基本は電装パーツは手直しする事が基本になります。

指板痩せでフレットが飛び出ている状態で、各所にちゃんと使い続けたければ修正したい所がいくつかあるので次回等に直す事をお勧めします。

Sago-made custom bass setup and jack replacement.

The jack had poor contact and wasn’t producing sound. As the customer requested, it was dirty, so we performed a simple overall cleaning while it was in our care.

It appears to have been modified to 18V later, with the battery not secured internally. Additionally, the potentiometers have loose connections and the preamp’s double-sided tape is peeling, causing poor fixation.
Since used items often involve amateur modifications, there’s a higher risk of issues arising. Therefore, it’s standard practice to rework the electrical components.

The fingerboard has thinned, causing the frets to protrude. There are several areas that need correction if you wish to continue using it properly. We recommend addressing these issues during a future service.

ヒストリープレシジョンベースジャック交換＆セットアップ

ヒストリー製プレシジョンベースのジャック交換・セットアップです。

トラスロッドの余り量が少なく、調整でトラスロッド限界状態になりました。
新品でも中古品でもロッドの余り量が多い物を購入しないと、こうした際に正しく調整できない不具合が出てきます。

ジャック不良で音が出なくなったりする状態を新品交換で直しました。

もう少しロッドを回してネック反りを真っ直ぐにしたいですが、現状弾く分には問題ありません。

音が良く弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

中古でもクールＺやヒストリーはフジゲン製造なので精度も高く、中古相場も安いのでお勧めです。
ただ状態だけはどのメーカーでも確認して購入できるスキルは必要です。

This is a jack replacement and setup for a History Precision Bass.

The truss rod had very little adjustment slack left, reaching its limit during tuning.
Unless you purchase a bass with ample truss rod slack—whether new or used—this issue arises, preventing proper adjustment.

The jack malfunction causing no sound output was resolved by replacing it with a new one.

I’d like to turn the rod a bit more to straighten the neck bow, but it plays fine as-is.

The bass is now tuned to sound great and play smoothly.

Even used, Cool Z and History basses are manufactured by Fujigen, ensuring high precision. They’re also affordable on the used market, so I recommend them.
However, you do need the skill to check the condition before purchasing, regardless of the brand.

Fender JAPAN Michiya Haruhata Stratocaster Caribbean Blue Trans フレットすり合わせ＆ポット交換＆ジャック交換＆セレクター交換

フェンダージャパン製、春畑道哉モデルストラトキャスターのフレットすり合わせ・ポット交換・ジャック交換・セレクター交換です。

全体的に大きな消耗で、フレットの音詰まり箇所があります。

鳴らしていて音が途切れたりする様子、ガリ等があるポット・セレクター・ジャックは新品に交換する事になりました。

ナット高が元から高めでローフレットは弾き難く、こちらはナット下にシムを入れていないモデルですので指板を削りナット高を低くする必要があります。

すり合わせ後はナット高が元よりも高めになりました。お客様の要望でこちらはそのままで良いとの事でローフレット側の弦高が高く感じますが弾けるレベルとの事です。

フロイドローズ仕様のストラトキャスターですが、通常のストラトキャスターにフロイドローズを付けただけの様なモデルなので弦高が合いません（指板RとフロイドローズRが合ってない為）。

ブリッジサドルにもシムを入れる等して指板Rに合わせ、弦高が大きくバラつきが出ない様に調整し弾き易くなりました。

Fender Japan-made, Michiya Haruhata Model Stratocaster: Fret leveling, pot replacement, jack replacement, selector switch replacement.

Overall significant wear, with frets causing muted notes.

Pots, selector switch, and jack exhibiting intermittent sound dropouts or crackling will be replaced with new parts.

The nut height was originally quite high, making the lower frets difficult to play. Since this model does not use shims under the nut, the fingerboard needed to be dressed down to lower the nut height.

After dressing, the nut height is now slightly higher than before. At the customer’s request, this was left as is. While the string height over the lower frets feels higher, it is still playable.

Although this is a Floyd Rose-equipped Stratocaster, it’s essentially a standard Strat with a Floyd Rose added, resulting in improper string height (due to mismatched fingerboard radius and Floyd Rose radius).

We adjusted the bridge saddles by adding shims to match the fingerboard radius, minimizing significant string height variation and improving playability.

メーカー不明レスポールの配線直し・セットアップです。

音が出ない状態です。

内部をチェックしてみるとトグルスイッチで断線し音が出ない状態になっており、またジャックが消耗で音切れする状態なので新品に交換しました。

お客様の要望でリアコントロールのトーンをカットし、リアの音抜けが良い状態に改造しました。

電装パーツは使用しているとナットが緩んでパーツ本体が回転し、内部の配線が断線したりとトラブルに繋がりますので定期的にパーツを付け直す必要が出てきます。

Repair and setup for an unbranded Les Paul.

The guitar was not producing sound.

Upon internal inspection, a broken wire at the toggle switch was causing the lack of sound. Additionally, the jack was worn out and causing sound dropouts, so it was replaced with a new one.

Per the customer’s request, the rear tone control was cut to improve the rear pickup’s sound projection.

Electrical components can develop issues over time, such as nuts loosening and parts rotating, leading to internal wiring breaks. This necessitates periodically reattaching the components.

ムーン製ストラトキャスターのフレットすり合わせ・ジャック交換です。

かなり大きなフレット消耗が起きた状態です。
トラスロッドも殆ど限界近い状態です。

ジャック部で音切れする状態を新品に交換し直しました。

フレットをすり合わせ、音詰まり等が無くなり弾き易い状態に仕上がりました。

音がタイトでクリアなサウンドです。
国産的な音と言えばそうなりますが、音の形が見え易いのでバンド内でも余計な音が鳴らず聴こえ易いサウンドになります。

Moon Stratocaster fret leveling and jack replacement.

Significant fret wear was present.
The truss rod was also nearly at its limit.

The jack, which was causing sound dropouts, was replaced with a new one.

The frets were leveled, eliminating any buzzing and making it much easier to play.

The sound is tight and clear.
While it has that classic Japanese-made tone, the sound is well-defined, making it stand out clearly in a band setting without any unwanted noise.

Bizen Works Grain Arched ポット交換＆ジャック交換＆セットアップ

ビゼン製レスポールのポット交換・ジャック交換・セットアップです。

リアボリューム・ジャックにガリで新品に交換しました。

ジャックは消耗するパーツNo.1ですので定番の修理ですが、ポットやセレクターは多様する程に消耗するのでガリが出たタイミングで交換がベストです。

実際に新品パーツに交換すると音質も良くなるので、消耗＝音も悪くなっています。

消耗の劣化は接点洗浄剤で直しても無駄なので、電装パーツは消耗品と割り切って交換しながら使用していきましょう。

Potentiometer replacement, jack replacement, and setup for a Bizen-made Les Paul.

Replaced the rear volume and jack with new ones due to crackling.

The jack is the number one wear part, so this is a standard repair. However, potentiometers and selectors wear out with use, so replacing them when crackling occurs is best.

Replacing them with new parts actually improves the sound quality, proving that wear equals sound degradation.

Attempting to fix deterioration with contact cleaner is futile. Accept that electrical components are consumables and replace them as needed while using the guitar.

ムーン製テレキャスターのジャック交換です。

音が使用してて途切れる事があるとの事で各所の電装パーツをチェックした所、ジャックがダメそうです。

ジャックが原因の様子でしたので新品に交換しました。

電装パーツは基本的に使用が長い場合は全交換がお勧めです。

電装パーツは消耗品ですので、トラブルが起きない様にコントロールをよく操作する様子であれば数年に1度は交換したい所です。

厄介なのは「音が出る時と出ない時がある」で、チェック時に問題無い場合でも持ち帰った後で音が出なくなったりする事もあります。

電装パーツは消耗すると不安要素となってきますので、大事なライブやレコーディングがあるギターは交換して使用していきたい所です。

Replacing the jack on a Moon Telecaster.

The customer reported intermittent sound dropouts during use. After checking all electrical components, the jack appeared to be the culprit.

Since the jack seemed to be the cause, we replaced it with a new one.

For electrical components, we generally recommend replacing them entirely if they’ve been in use for a long time.

Electrical components are consumables, so if you frequently use the controls, it’s best to replace them every few years to prevent issues.

The tricky part is when the sound comes and goes. Even if everything checks out during inspection, the sound might stop working after the customer takes it home.

Worn electrical components become a source of uncertainty, so for guitars used in important gigs or recordings, it’s wise to replace them before use.

Gibson FlyingV 100本限定モデルナット交換＆セットアップ＆ジャック交換

ギブソン製フライングVのナット交換・ジャック交換・セットアップです。

100本限定モデルとの事で非常に珍しいケーラートレモロを搭載しPUもEMG搭載のフライングVとなっています。

ナットが割れており、交換する事となりました。

他にもジャックが消耗しており、新品に交換しました。

ケーラーだとサウンド面でも通常のチューンＯマチックと違い柔らかいサウンド傾向となり、よりマイルドなサウンドに酔っています。

Gibson Flying V nut replacement, jack replacement, and setup.

This is a very rare model with a Kala tremolo and EMG pickups, limited to 100 pieces.

The nut was cracked, so it was replaced.

The jack was also worn out, so it was replaced with a new one.

The Kala tremolo produces a softer sound than the standard Tun-O-Matic, giving it a more mellow tone.

coolZ ストラトキャスターセットアップ＆ジャック交換

クールZ製ストラトキャスターのセットアップ・ジャック交換です。

大きく順反りし弾き難い状態です。
正しく調整できておらず弦高が高い、ジャック部で配線切れで音出ない状態です。

ジャックは消耗が大きい箇所でもあるので新品に交換し音が出る状態にしました。

調整し弾き易くなりましたがトラスロッドの余りが殆ど無い状態です。

トラスロッドの余り量や効き具合により、順反りが大きくなると直した後でトラスロッドが限界近くになります。
購入時から新品でも順反りしている状態で販売されている事もある為、これらを調整した状態で余り量を確認しないと後悔します。
また効き具合が悪い物は当然ながら多く回す事となるので更に余り量が減ります。
正しく調整できた上でトラスロッドの余り量を公表していない楽器屋からは買わない方が良いです。

This is a setup and jack replacement for a Cool Z Stratocaster.

The guitar has a significant forward bow and is difficult to play.
It has not been properly adjusted, the string height is too high, and there is a broken wire in the jack, preventing sound from coming out.

The jack is a part that wears out easily, so we replaced it with a new one to restore sound.

After adjustment, it is now easier to play, but there is almost no truss rod adjustment left.

Depending on the amount of truss rod adjustment and its effectiveness, if the bowing becomes severe after adjustment, the truss rod may reach its limit.
Some guitars are sold with a bowed neck even when new, so it is important to check the remaining adjustment range after adjustment to avoid regret.
Additionally, if the truss rod is not effective, it will need to be adjusted more frequently, further reducing the remaining adjustment range.
It is advisable not to purchase from a music store that does not disclose the remaining truss rod adjustment range after proper adjustment.
