コンポーネントギターのセットアップ・ジャック交換です。

ネックが古いグレコ・ボディがフェルナンデス製との事です。

電装も安物パーツだが音が良い個体です。
古い年代は低価格ながら音が良い物が多いので、その辺りを知ってたなら楽器は数万円レベルでも充分に使える物です。

トラスロッドの効きが悪く、調整でトラスロッド限界となりました。
やはりトラスロッドの効き具合に関しては精度が悪い事の影響か効きが悪い個体が多いので要注意です。
買う前にトラスロッドを回して効き具合を確認するのも当然ですが全然回らない（1周も回らない等）個体にも気を付けましょう。

フェンダージャパン製ストラトキャスターのフレットすり合わせ・ジャック交換です。

フレットが全体的にかなり消耗が大きい状態です。
当時のフェンダージャパン製は特に古い年代でなくても音が良いモデルが多いので、数万円のモデルで現在でも使用を続けている人も多いと思います。

それに伴って消耗具合も大きい物が多いので注意が必要です。

2000年中期位のモデルだがトラスロッドの余り量が多く状態が良いです。
08-38弦で使用していたそうで、細いゲージは当然ながらネックに対する負荷が少ないので順反り防止としても好都合です。

多くの楽器は順反りしトラスロッドに余裕が無い・限界状態の物も多いので、長持ちさせるにはどれだけネックに負荷を与えずに使用を続けるか？が重要になっていきます。

FenderJAPAN STD-57 ナット交換＆フレットすり合わせ＆セレクター交換＆ジャック交換

フェンダージャパン製ストラトキャスター、STD-57のナット交換・フレットすり合わせ・セレクター交換・ジャック交換です。

かなり消耗が大きい個体です。

細かくはフェンダージャパンでは無い様子でネックは別メーカーの物に交換されている様子（ボディのネックポケットにSTD-57表記）、ネックポケットとネックの相性が悪くシムは計4枚入れて調整・ネックポケットはガバガバ状態です。とりあえず弾く分には問題ありません。

消耗箇所を修理し音も安定して出せる状態に修正しました。
音が太く煌びやかでレンジ感があり良い個体です。
意外とギターは不思議とカッチリ丁寧に作られた物よりも隙間もあって雑な作りの物が音が良かったりします。

特にネックはボディに付かない方が音が良い傾向に思います。
具体的には左右がガバガバ、シムも複数入れないと弦高がダメな物はネックとボディに隙間が大きく殆ど触れていない状態になります。
ネックとボディは違う木材なので、その振動数が合わないのも当然で楽器としての組み合わせは基本違う材なら相性は悪いと思われます。
距離が離れて弦振動が干渉しない位の隙間がある方が音が良くなるのも理解はできるかと思います。

また08-38弦で使用し続けているとの事でトラスロッドの余り量もかなりある状態です。
ただ動く範囲が狭いですが効きは良いです。
ネックはメーカー不明ですがトラスロッドが回る範囲から古い国産なのかもしれません。

細いゲージを使用しネックに強い負荷が掛からない状態なら順反りし難いのは当然です。
長持ちさせるにはこうした配慮も必要です。

This is a Fender Japan Stratocaster, STD-57, nut replacement, fret grind, selector replacement, and jack replacement.

This is an individual with quite a bit of wear and tear.

The neck was replaced with another maker’s neck (STD-57 is marked on the body neck pocket), and the neck pocket and neck are not compatible. The neck pocket is in a state of disarray.

The wear and tear has been repaired and the sound is now stable.
The sound is fat and shiny with a good range.
Surprisingly, guitars that have gaps and are not well made sound better than guitars that are well made.

In particular, the neck tends to sound better when it is not attached to the body.
Specifically, if the neck is too loose on both sides and the strings are too high without multiple shims, there is a large gap between the neck and body, and they are hardly touching.
Since the neck and body are different woods, it is only natural that their vibration frequencies do not match, and the combination as an instrument is basically incompatible with different woods.
It is understandable that the sound would be better if the strings were far enough apart so that their vibrations do not interfere with each other.

Also, since you have been using it with 08-38 strings, there is quite a bit of truss rod left over.
The range of movement is narrow, but it works well.
The maker of the neck is unknown, but it may be an old domestic one from the extent to which the truss rod turns.

If a thin gauge is used and the neck is not under a heavy load, it is natural that it is hard to warp in order.
This kind of consideration is necessary to make the neck last longer.

Crews Maniac Sound Bottom’s Up 23 Pilot Run ジャック交換＆セットアップ

クルーズマニアックサウンド製ボトムアップ23のセットアップ・ジャック交換です。

見た目はヴィンテージタイプだと思っていたら音がトレブリーでモダン系寄りなサウンド個体です。

モダン系な音がタイトサウンドなので、歪みを中心としたハッキリと音を聴かせる演奏向きな個体です。

カッチリとしている音クリアサウンドですので、見た目と音はかなりギャップがあります。

killer impulse ジャック交換＆セットアップ

キラー製インパルスのジャック交換・セットアップです。

こちらのモデルは特殊な構造をしており、ブリッジ下にジャックがあるモデルです。

これがかなり曲者で、ジャック固定にかなり無理ある構造をしています。

ビルトインジャックを斜めに固定するのですが、ブリッジ下の狭いザグリ内に無理矢理付いている様な状態です。

交換も大変で、狭いザグリで工具も使用し難いのですが交換自体は行えました。

調整でトラスロッド限界で弦高がやや高いですがまだ弾けるレベルです。

James Tyler Studio Elite ジャック交換＆電池交換

ジェームスタイラー製スタジオエリートのジャック交換・電池交換です。

音が出ないとの事で持ち込まれました。

電池を使うタイプの問題解決として先に電池を新品に交換する事です。
まず初歩の解決方法を試す事が大事ですが電池も重要です。
ただし販売されている電池の残量が少ない状態で売っている場合もあるので、よくある「新品の電池に交換したけど直らない」はトラブルチェックとして信用ができません。
正しくは「テスターや電池チェッカーで9Ｖあると分かる電池に交換したが音が出なかった」等を伝えないとダメです。

音は出るがジャックの接触が悪く、電池が切れ掛かっていた事により出音が不安定な状態でした。
ジャックを交換し電池も新品にしたがノイズ面が気になる状態です。

中古品購入との事で配線が素人にイジられている様子です。
セレクターが素人作業なのか端子がガタガタ動くので交換したい状態。
サブギターでお金を掛けたくないとの事でこの作業のみで終了しました。

調整状態も悪く大きく順反りして弾き難い状態です。
中古品は酷い状態で売られている事も全然ありますので気を付けましょう。
新品も最近は検品が雑で酷い物も平気で売っていますので、買った後は修理する位の気持ちが無いとダメかもしれません。
中古は消耗した物なので関係無いですが、新品だと本来は消費者側に不利益が起こらない様に販売側が努力しないといけませんがこの業界にはその意識が無い事だけ注意して物を買った方が良いです。

However, since some of the batteries sold are sold with low remaining charge, the common statement “I replaced the battery with a new one but it does not fix the problem” cannot be trusted as a trouble check.
You need to tell them that you replaced the batteries with ones that a tester or a battery checker shows have 9V, but no sound came out,” etc.

The sound was coming out, but the jack was not making good contact and the sound was unstable because the battery was about to run out.
The jack was replaced and a new battery was put in, but the noise level is still a concern.

The wiring seems to have been tampered with by an amateur since it was purchased used.
The selector is in need of replacement because the terminals are rattling, probably due to amateur work.
We did not want to spend a lot of money on a sub guitar, so we only did this work.

The adjustment is bad and it is hard to play because it has a large forward bow.
Be careful with used guitars, as they are often sold in bad condition.
New guitars are also being sold these days with poor inspection, so you may need to be willing to repair it after you buy it.
New products, however, the seller must make an effort to prevent any disadvantage to the consumer, but it is better to be aware of the fact that this industry does not have such awareness.

t.m.p ストラトキャスター PU交換＆ジャック交換＆セットアップ GRINNING DOG

t.m.p製ストラトキャスターのPU交換・ジャック交換・セットアップです。

グリニングドッグ製55年モデルPUに交換、ジャックが消耗で交換しました。

ギター本体もPUも知る人ぞ知るメーカーです。

交換後のサウンドは耳に痛い所が出なくてコンプ感がありますが巻き弦の丸い感じの音が良いです。
プレーン弦の音も痛くないのでストラト的にはマイルドなサウンドになります。
巻き弦がトレブリーにうるさくないので細い音に感じない点も好印象です。

PUの良さを引き出すのも本体の良さが必要なので、良いPUを買う事も大事ですが本体の良さも大事です。
PUだけで音が決まっていると思っている人が多い印象ですが、大事な所はあくまでギター本体です。

This is a PU replacement, jack replacement and setup for a t.m.p Stratocaster.

Replaced with a ’55 model PU made by Grinning Dog, jack replaced due to wear and tear.

The guitar itself and the PU are both made by a well-known manufacturer.

The sound after the replacement is not painful to the ear and has a comped feel but has a nice rounded sound of the wound strings.
The sound of the plain strings is also not painful, so it sounds mildly Strat-like.
I also like the fact that the wound strings are not too loud on the treble so it does not feel like a thin sound.

It is important to buy a good PU, but it is also important to have a good body.
I have the impression that many people think that the sound is determined by the PU alone, but the important part is the body of the guitar.

スクワイヤー製サイクロンのセットアップ・ジャック交換です。

順反りで弾き難い状態です。

トラスロッドが回してもあまり効かない様子で、こうした個体も珍しくなく全然多いですが必要以上に多く回さないといけないので実際にトラスロッドに余裕が多くても効きが悪いので実質トラスロッドに余裕が無い状態と同じになります。

だから私が昔からYoutubeやブログでも言っている様に回して確認しないといけませんし、販売側もこれら状態を提示しないとダメです。
トラスロッドに余裕があっても安心はできません。

音が良く、ノーマルにしてはフロントの音がかなり良い個体です。

スクワイヤー等の低価格帯モデルでも音質が良い個体は沢山あるので、メーカーや値段で楽器を決めない方が良いです。

It is hard to play due to the forward warp.

The truss rod does not seem to work well even though it is turned.

ムーン製ジャズベースのコンデンサ交換・ジャック交換・セットアップです。

ジャックが緩み断線して音が出ない状態です。
消耗もあるので新品に交換と持ち込みのコンデンサへ交換しました。

コンデンサの交換後のトーンの具合はレンジは狭いがバキバキせずコモり過ぎないサウンドで必要な範囲に絞っている様な効き具合になります。

Black Smoker Guitar ストラトキャスター TRAD MASTER SERIES ポット交換＆ジャック交換＆セットアップ

ブラックスモーカー製ストラトキャスター、TRAD MASTERのポット交換・ジャック交換・セットアップです。

ヴォリュームポットが軽いので交換してほしいとの事です。恐らく接点洗浄剤を使用して回りが軽い状態になっていると思います。

電装パーツがピックガードと一式交換されている様子で、ハンダ付けが素人作業状態です。
中古品は元のパーツに良い物が付いていると交換して別の物に代わっている可能性があります。

元はリアハムバッカーが付いたモデルから流用している様でポットは500ｋΩが付いていたり、交換した様な形跡がありました。
ジャックも緩いので交換、トーンはガリで効きがおかしいので洗浄剤で対処しました。

ネック材がローズウッドの様で音が柔らかく痛い高域が出ないので耳馴染みが良いサウンドです。
特に巻弦がギラギラしないので凄く良いサウンドです。
どうしてもストラトキャスターの音は高域がバリバリ痛い傾向になると音も細く、巻き弦も暴れ気味にビビり音も大きく聞こえるのであまり音として良い傾向になりません。
ギターの音が良く耳が痛い所だけを無くすにはトーンを絞るだけでは難しく、落ち着いた音がする木材を使用するのは良い考えですがこの効果が高過ぎると音がモッサリ傾向に寄ります。

順反りで弦高が高い状態を調整し弾き易い状態に仕上げました。

ブラックスモーカー製は私もお勧めしているブランドですのでチェックしてみて下さい。

This is a pot replacement, jack replacement and setup for a Black Smoker Stratocaster, TRAD MASTER.

The volume pot is light and needs to be replaced. Probably, the contact cleaner was used to make the pot lighter.

The electrical parts have been replaced with a pickguard, and the soldering was done by an amateur.
If the original parts are good, the used parts may have been replaced with new parts.

The pots are 500k ohm and there are signs that they have been replaced.
The jack was loose, so it was replaced, and the tone was a little stiff, so I used a cleaning agent to clean it up.

The neck material seems to be rosewood, and the sound is soft and comfortable to the ear with no painful high frequencies.
The sound is very good, especially the wound strings do not glare.
Stratocaster’s sound is not so good because it tends to be painful in the high frequency range, the sound is thin, and the wound strings sound too loud and jerky.
It is difficult to make a guitar sound good and eliminate only the parts that are painful to the ear by just narrowing down the tone. Using wood with a calm sound is a good idea, but if this effect is too strong, the sound will tend to be muffled.

I adjusted the high string height to make the guitar easy to play.
