ジャック不良でまともに音が出ない状態です。
ジャックは消耗品で一番楽器で消耗するパーツですので使用頻度にもよりますが1年単位で交換した方が良いと思います。

他にも順反りで弾き難い状態を調整し弾き易くしました。

高額な楽器でも特別凄いパーツが付いている等ではなく、パーツは他ブランドと同じく消耗しますので使用頻度が高いギターのパーツはガリが出たタイミングで交換した方が良いです。

This is a jack replacement and setup for a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster.

The jack is defective and not producing proper sound.
The jack is a consumable part and is the most worn part of the instrument, so it is recommended to replace it every year, depending on how often it is used.

新品購入して半年程度との事ですが大きく順反りしている状態です。

調整できましたがトラスロッドに殆ど余裕が無い状態になりました。実質ロッド限界です。

近年は木材の強度低下により順反りし易い事と、乾燥や湿気への変化に弱い様にも思います。
希望があるとしたら湿度変化にも弱い可能性があるので湿気を与えて膨張させ逆反りさせる方法も可能かもしれません。

基本的な保管方法ですがトラスロッドに余裕が無い楽器は弦を緩めて保管は当然当たり前として、湿度を高めて放置していると逆反りに動いてくれたらラッキーです。
逆反りすればトラスロッドを緩める事となり、結果としてトラスロッドの余り量が復活するという事です。
謎なネットアンチは逆反りする事が良くない様に言ってくるのが本当に理解不能なのですが、逆反りする事が良い事です。
特にトラスロッドに余裕が無い物は意識的に逆反りさせようとして使い続けないと長持ちできません。

素人リペアマンが未だに「弦は緩めないで良い」とか言ってるので本当に注意して下さい。
昔の木材は質が良く強度も高い物が多かったと思うので張りっぱなしでも大丈夫だった物が多かったのでしょうけど、今の木材は全然異なります。
彼らの知識は70年代位で止まっております。間違ってる情報に気を付けましょう。

～よくある張りっぱなしで良い理論の例～

●トラスロッドが効く事で弦張力とバランスが取れる・・・バランスは取れない。トラスロッドはネックの順反りを直す目的に仕込む機構。
木材は強度が一定の物体じゃない事と弦と同じ力を反対側から同じ様に掛けている訳じゃないからバランスしない。あくまで一時的にバランスしている様に見えるに過ぎない。
そもそも本当に張りっぱなしで大丈夫ならここまで状態が悪い楽器が多くなる事自体がおかしい。
本当に張りっぱなしで良いなら多くの楽器はずっと状態に問題が無く使い続けられる事になるが、現実は真逆である。
大事なのはネック自体の強度。弦を張りっぱなしでバランスが取れると言うならトラスロッドが入っていないヴィジェやモジュラス等の説明ができなくなる。
ネックが弦の張力に負けない強度で作る事が重要。何故その様なネックを作らないかは壊れて買い替えさせたいから。

●弦を張ったり緩めたりするとネックに良くないから・・・張りっぱなしによる高負荷をずっと掛け続けている方が良くない。それだけ弦の張力は強く、ネックはその強い張力に対して対策して作らないといけない（補強材を仕込むメーカーの方がまだ少ない）。順反りだけじゃなくウネリやハイ起きにも繋がる。上記の通り木材の強度は一定の物体じゃないので弱い所から先に状態が悪くなる。これも上記の通りで本当に大丈夫ならここまで状態が悪い楽器が多くなる訳が無く大体状態が悪い楽器の人は「張りっぱなしの人」。こうした人は管理もずさんな事が多いので湿度管理も意識が無い事が多いのでメーターを買って加湿器で年中コントロールが必要。

ネックをそこまで丈夫な物と思い込まない方が良い。
弦を全く張っていない状態からチューニングしていけば順反りしていく動きを誰でも簡単に見る事ができますが、目の前で弦の張力に負けて順反りしている事実を見れます。
そもそも弦を張って使う物として、強い力が掛かる事に対してネックの構造は完全に「強度不足の構造体」です。

This is a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster, left handed model setup.

It was purchased new and has been in the shop for about 6 months, but it has a large forward bow.

I was able to adjust the truss rod, but there is almost no room left in the truss rod. It is practically at the limit of the rod.

Recently, the strength of the wood has been declining, so it is easy to warp forward, and it also seems to be susceptible to changes in dryness and humidity.
If there is any hope, it may be possible to give moisture to the wood to make it expand and warp backwards, since it may also be susceptible to humidity changes.

As a basic storage method, if the instrument has no room in the truss rod, it is natural to store the instrument with the strings loose, and if the instrument is left in high humidity, it will be lucky if it moves to reverse warp.
If it warps backwards, it will loosen the truss rod, and as a result, the truss rod surplus will be restored.
I really don’t understand the mysterious internet antagonists who say that inverted bending is not good, but inverted bending is good.
Especially if the truss rod does not have enough room, you have to consciously try to make it warp backwards to make it last longer.

Amateur repairmen still say “don’t loosen the strings,” so be really careful.
I think that in the old days, most of the wood was of good quality and strong, so many of them were fine even if left unstrung, but today’s wood is completely different.
Their knowledge stops in the 70’s. Be careful of wrong information.

～The following is an example of the common theory that it is okay to leave the wood taut.

The truss rod balances the string tension…it does not balance it. The truss rod is a mechanism that is installed for the purpose of warping the neck in the forward direction. Wood is not an object of constant strength, and the same force as the string is not applied from the opposite side in the same way, so it is not balanced. If it were, it would be strange to see so many instruments in such bad condition. What is important is the strength of the neck itself. If it can be balanced, it would be impossible to explain the Vigier, Modulus, etc., which do not have truss rods in them.

The strings are not good for the neck when they are stretched or loosened…it is not good to keep the neck under a high load by keeping it taut all the time. The tension of the strings is that strong, and the neck must be made to cope with that strong tension (few makers have yet to include reinforcement material). This leads not only to forward warping, but also to swelling and high rise. As mentioned above, the strength of wood is not a constant object, so the weakest point will deteriorate first. If it were really safe, there would be no reason for so many instruments to be in such poor condition. People who have instruments in bad condition are usually those who “leave them on the floor.” Since these people are often sloppy in their management, they often have no awareness of humidity control, so it is necessary to buy a meter and use a humidifier to control humidity all year round.

新品で購入して約1ヵ月との事ですが調整状態が悪く弾き難い状態です。

順反りして弾き難い状態ですのでトラスロッドを回して反りをストレートにする必要があります。

触ってみると最初からトラスロッドに殆ど余裕が無く（残りの余り量が90°も回せない程度）、調整でトラスロッドが限界状態となりました。

こうした高額で有名なメーカー製品でもこの状態なのは珍しくありません。
結構多くこの様な状態で販売している事が多くあります。

メーカーも販売側もこの様な状態として分かってて売っているか、もしくは検品等をろくにしておらず知らずに販売しているか、どちらにしても酷いです。

こうした状態でも弾けるならまだ良いですが、少しでも順反りすると調整で直せないので弾き難くなり、更に順反りすると弦高が高い上に10～12フレットから音詰まりしてきます。楽器としてトラスロッドの調整ができないのは致命的です。
いわゆる「今は良いかもしれないけど将来は心配な状態、余裕が全く無い状態」です。
新品で最初からこうですからきっと長持ちしないでしょう。
ベースの場合は弦張力が強い事もあり今より順反りして数年でダメになる可能性の方が高いと思います。
世の中にはこの様な状態な物も多くありますが、それでも「弦は張りっぱなしで良い」と言う素人が大勢居る事も業界として危険です。

楽器屋等でもこうした状態の場合で買い取りの際はトラスロッドが限界や余裕が無い事を理由として安く買い叩かれるでしょう。
トラスロッド限界等の状態はいわゆるジャンク扱いになる可能性があります。
そうして安く買い取るのに、売ってる側は何故こうした事を公表して販売していないのか疑問に感じて下さい。

Youtubeでもブログでも言ってますがこの様な環境を作った消費者側にも問題があります。
本当に何度も言いますが無知を卒業して下さい。勉強して下さい。

なので購入時は新品でもトラスロッドの余り量を必ず聞く、トラスロッドの余り量の記載が無いなら必ずその場で回して確認させてもらって購入して下さい。
その辺りの確認作業を行わないなら買わないで下さい。
高額な物を買う訳ですから、買う側からしたら当然の権利です。
この様な事を今まで皆がしていかないから、この様な現状が産まれます。

新品でもトラスロッドの余り量を表記させる文化を皆様の力で作って下さい。
そうしない場合、いずれこうした状態で自分が買う様な事になる環境だという事を覚えてて下さい。
自分の為にもなる事と、状態が悪い物を売れなくなる環境になるので人助けにもなります。

This is a Fender Custom Shop Jazz Bass setup.

The bass was purchased new and has been in the shop for about a month, but it is in poor condition and hard to play.

The truss rod needs to be turned to straighten out the warp.

When we touched it, we found that there was almost no room in the truss rod from the beginning (the remaining amount of room was such that the truss rod could not be turned even 90 degrees), and the truss rod was at its limit after adjustment.

It is not uncommon to find such expensive and well-known manufacturers’ products in this condition.
Many of them are sold in this condition.

Either the manufacturer and the seller know that the product is in this condition and are selling it, or they are not inspecting the product properly and are selling it without knowing it.

If you can play the instrument in this condition, it is still good, but if it is warped even a little, it becomes difficult to play because it cannot be fixed by adjustment, and if it is further warped, the string height will be high and the sound will become clogged from the 10th to 12th fret. It is fatal for an instrument not to be able to adjust the truss rod.
It is what is called “a condition that may be good now but is worrisome in the future, a condition with no room at all.
It will probably not last long because it is like this from the beginning when it is new.
In the case of a bass guitar, the string tension is so strong that there is a higher possibility that the instrument will warp more slowly than it is now and will be ruined in a few years.
There are many basses out there in this condition, but the fact that there are still many amateurs who say, “Just leave the strings on,” is also dangerous for the industry.

Even at a music shop, if you are buying a guitar in this condition, you will probably get a discount because the truss rod is at its limit or there is no room to spare.
A truss rod at the limit of its capacity may be treated as junk.
You have to wonder why the seller does not disclose this kind of thing to the public when he/she buys the guitar at such a low price.

As I have said on Youtube and in my blog, there is a problem with the consumers who have created such an environment.
I really have to say it again and again, please grow out of your ignorance. Please study.

When you buy a new guitar, please make sure to ask about the amount of truss rod left, even if it is a new one.
If you don’t check the amount of truss rod, please don’t buy it.
It is your right to do so, because you are buying a very expensive item.
This is the reason why we are in this situation.

Please help to create a culture that allows people to indicate the amount of truss rod left in a new instrument.
If you don’t, please remember that this is the kind of environment in which you will eventually end up buying a new instrument in this condition.
It will be good for you and it will also help others because you will be in an environment where you will not be able to sell items that are in bad condition.

トラスロッドを調整し弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

カスタムショップ製も近年は楽器の品薄状態により価格が高騰している様で、モデルによっては新品販売からわずか2～3年でも買った時と同等かそれよりも高く売れる様です。
円安の影響で外国人からしたら日本で買うと安い状況にもなっている為、海外転売ヤーも多くなり日本市場は狂った市場になっています。
欲しい人が買えない・欲しい人が高いお金を払って買う状況になりお金を持った人・持たない人との格差社会がより見える社会になってきた様に思います。
現在は落ち着いてきて元に戻ると良いですが、いずれば楽器を弾いて選ぶ事もできなくなってくるのかもしれません。

フェンダーカスタムショップ製テレキャスターのナット交換・フレットすり合わせ・ポット交換・セットアップです。

かなり弾き込まれて消耗している状態です。

ポットにガリがあり、ボリューム0でも音漏れする状態で、テレキャスターによくあるジャックの固定不良も発生しております。
基本的にテレキャスターのジャックは原始的な構造で、大きい穴の中で金属プレートを引っ掛けて付いているだけです。
これらも使っていたら固定しているプレートが取れてしまいます。
耐作品としてジャックをビス止め式に交換する事で解決可能です。

フレット状態が悪いのですり合わせ、ナット状態が悪い事から交換を行い状態を良くしました。

他にも指板が縮みフレットが飛び出ている状態なのですが、こちらはお客様の方で弾いてて気にならないとの事で直しは保留となりました。
