PUをベアナックル製Painkillerに交換されております。

音がバリバリとしてるのでクリーンは難しそうで、ディマジオの何かしらのモデルに音が似ている気がします。

歪ませると音が綺麗に抜けてくるので歪み用のPUという印象でした。

お客様の要望でベアナックル製ポット550ｋΩに交換しました。
こちらは通常の500ｋΩポットが50ｋΩ程度大きな数値になっていますが、正直ノーマルのＣＴＳより良さは感じません。
大きな音で鳴らすと高域が伸びるのかもしれませんが、普段の音量では正直お金を出して交換するレベルの差は感じませんでした。

ポットのΩ数が大きくなると高域が強くなる為、例えばジャガーやジャズマスターは1MΩ（1000ｋΩ）をストラト等の250ｋΩに交換するだけでも音がかなり落ち着きます。
こうした音色のカスタムにアレンジする事はお勧めです。

This is a rewiring and setup of an Edwards Les Paul.

The PU has been replaced with a Bare Knuckle Painkiller.

The sound is very crisp, so it is difficult to play clean, and it sounds like some kind of DiMaggio model.

When distorted, the sound comes out beautifully, so I had the impression that it was a PU for distortion.

At the customer’s request, we replaced the pot with a bare-knuckle 550k ohm pot.
This pot is about 50k ohms larger than the normal 500k ohm pot, but to be honest, I don’t feel it is better than the normal CTS.
The high frequency range may be extended when played loudly, but I honestly did not feel the difference at the level of paying money to replace the pot at normal volume.

The larger the ohm number of the pot, the stronger the high frequency range becomes, so for example, just replacing 1M ohm (1000k ohm) for Jaguar and Jazzmaster with 250k ohm for Strat and so on, the sound will be much calmer.
Arranging for such tone customization is recommended.
