トーカイ製プレシジョンベースのPU交換・ノイズ対策処理です。

PUはヴァンザント製ヴィンテージプラスに交換です。

ノイズ処理塗料をザグリ内に塗る加工になります。
ノイズ対策を行えばパッシブでもノイズに強い効果を得られますが反対に高域を削る結果となります。
ノイズには強くなりますが音質と言う意味では劣化する事になります。

ピックガード裏にはモントルーのピックガード用の大きいアルミテープを貼ってより対策しております。

PU replacement and noise reduction treatment for Tokai Precision Bass.

The PU is replaced with a Van Zandt Vintage Plus.

Noise treatment paint is applied to the inside of the counterweight.
Noise suppression will give a strong effect against noise even with a passive bass, but on the contrary, it will result in the reduction of the high frequency range.
Although it is more resistant to noise, the sound quality will be degraded.

We put a large aluminum tape for Montreux pickguard on the back of the pickguard to prevent this problem.
