テイラー製314CEのセットアップです。

2007年頃のモデルでトラスロッドに余裕が少なく、トップも浮き始めており弦高が高い状態です。

調整でトラスロッド限界、テイラーとしては弦高が高めだが弾けるレベルではあります。

11-52弦を使用していてこの状態なので、12-53等を張ればネックは今よりも順反りしトップも持ち上がるので弦高が上がり弾き難い状態になる事と思います。

こうした状態のアコギは細い弦を張るだけでも弦高が下げられる事になります。

弦を張りっぱなしにしていればこの様な状態になるので、楽器を長持ちさせたければどのギターも弾かない時は弦を緩めないといけません。

Setup for a Taylor 314CE.

This is a model from around 2007 with limited truss rod adjustment range. The top is starting to lift, resulting in high string action.

Adjustments have reached the truss rod’s limit. While the string action is on the high side for a Taylor, it remains playable.

Since it’s in this condition with 11-52 strings, using 12-53 or similar would likely cause the neck to bow more than it does now and lift the top, increasing the string height and making it harder to play.

For an acoustic guitar in this state, simply using thinner strings can lower the string height.

Leaving strings on like this will result in this condition. To make any guitar last longer, you must loosen the strings when not playing.
