シェクター製アポカリプスのフレットすり合わせ・ナット溝高調整です。

新品購入との事ですが元のフレット状態が悪く、音が全体的に詰まり傾向です。
またナット高が高いので、弦高を低くできない様な精度です。

フレットをすり合わせ、ナット高を削って下げる事で以前の様な音詰まりが無く弦高も下げれる事となり非常に弾き易くなりました。

シェクターも以前は韓国製等は精度が悪く、新品でも平気で音詰まりしている物が多くありましたがインドネシア製に変わって多少は良くなった印象があります。
ただそれでも状態に関しては良い物・悪い物が極端にある印象なので購入時に細かくチェックした方が良いでしょう。

This is a fret leveling and nut groove height adjustment for a Schecter Apocalypse.

The original frets were in poor condition, causing the sound to be muffled overall.
In addition, the nut height was too high, making it impossible to lower the string height with sufficient precision.

By leveling the frets and lowering the nut height, we were able to eliminate the muffled sound and lower the string height, making the guitar much easier to play.

Schecter guitars, especially those made in Korea, used to have poor precision, and even new ones often had muffled sound. However, since switching to Indonesian production, the quality has improved slightly.
Nevertheless, there are still variations in quality, so it is advisable to inspect the instrument carefully before purchase.
