ギブソン製レスポールスペシャルのネック折れリペアです。

接着のみで修理の内容です。

特に問題無く接着のみで直せましたが大きく順反りしており、調整でトラスロッド限界になりました。

また不具合としてトラスロッドの仕込みが悪い様子で効きが悪い・ロッドが抜けてきている様子で弾いてるとネックが順反りしてくる事が分かります。

この様にナットからトラスロッドのネジ山が多く突き出ている個体は要注意です。

ギブソンは特に接着精度の悪さが目立つ為、内部の大事なトラスロッドの仕込みも上手くできず効きが悪い個体や内部のT字の引っ掛かりが悪く抜けてくる物も多いです。
他にトラブル例として指板が剥がれてくる・ネックがボディから取れる等も起きてきます。

ネット情報の勘違いでよくある「トラスロッドを一気に回したら壊れる」等の間違った知識情報はギブソン等から来ていると思われます。

回して壊れる事は有り得ません。壊れる様にできているメーカーの責任です。
ちゃんとできてたら壊れる事はまず有り得ません。
他に壊れる原因としてトラスロッドが限界状態で回らないのに無理に回して壊すパターン位です。

Repair of a broken neck on a Gibson Les Paul Special.

The repair was done by gluing only.

There was no problem and it could be repaired only by gluing, but the neck was warped in order and the truss rod was at the limit after adjustment.

The truss rod was not properly installed and the rod was coming out of the neck.

Be careful if you see many truss rod threads protruding from the nut as shown here.

Because of the poor gluing accuracy of Gibson guitars, the important internal truss rod installation may not work properly, and many guitars may come loose due to poor hooking of the internal T-joints.
Other problems include the fingerboard peeling off and the neck coming off the body.

The common misconception on the Internet that turning the truss rod all at once will break it seems to have come from Gibson and other manufacturers.

It is impossible for a truss rod to break by turning it at once. It is the manufacturer’s responsibility that the truss rod is made in such a way that it breaks.
If the truss rod is properly made, it will never break.
The only other cause of breakage is when the truss rod is at its limit and cannot be turned, but is forced to be turned and broken.
