  • ヤマハ製LL16Lのナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

    ナットだけが異常に高くローフレット側が弾き難い状態です。

    サドルの弦高は何故か低めな状態で、ナットさえ直せば全体が弾き易くなります。

    ナット高が高いと正しく弦高を調整できませんので、恐らく前オーナーが弦高が高いのでサドルを削って低くしたものと思われます。

    ナット溝を正しく切り直し弾き易く仕上げました。

    弦高がアコギとしては低めですが、弾き易く音が良い個体です。

    Only the nut is abnormally high and the low fret side is hard to play.

  • ヤマハ製SB500のセットアップです。

    大きく順反りし弾き難い状態です。

    またトラスロッドのナットがナメており、回すのが危険な状態です。
    この頃のトラスロッドはエンド側にギブソンの様なナットが付いたパイプレンチ等で回すモデルとなります。
    前オーナーの扱いが酷かった様子で、ナットの角が丸まって殆どレンチが噛みません。

    ダメ元でしたが何とか外す事ができ、ナットの再利用は不可なので合うナットで代用した。

    消耗で音がビビる箇所がありますがある程度は弾けるレベルには調整のみで行えました。
    フレットすり合わせした方が良いレベルですが、この年代製は状態が悪くても当然と言えるので購入時は本体価格＋リペア料金が掛かると思って購入した方が良いです。

    This is a Yamaha SB500 setup.

    It is hard to play as it has a large forward bow.

    The truss rod nut is in a bad shape and it is dangerous to turn.
    The truss rod at this time is a model that is turned with a pipe wrench with a Gibson-like nut on the end side.
    The previous owner had treated the truss rod so badly that the nut’s corner was so rounded that the wrench would hardly bite.

    The nut was not reusable, so we substituted a matching nut.

    The sound was a little shaky due to wear and tear, but I was able to get it to a level where I could play it to some extent with just a few adjustments.
    It would be better to grind the frets together, but it is not surprising for a guitar of this age to be in poor condition, so you should expect to pay the price of the instrument plus repair fees.

    ヤマハ製パシフィカのセレクター交換・ジャック交換になります。

    錆が酷くセレクター切り替えができない、セレクターのレバーも錆で折れる様な状態です。

    初めてこの位まで錆が酷い状態を直すのですが、錆過ぎてセレクターが固着・ビス頭が錆過ぎて工具が入らず外せない状態です。
    また配線内部のビス山まで酷く錆びており、まず通常の方法で外す事は不可能な状態です。

    ピックガードビスも似た様に全てが酷い錆びでビスの十字が無くなる位まで錆びており外す事も困難です。
    状態が悪いビスを全て外すとなると非常に高額となるので、セレクターのビス頭を壊して外し新品へ交換、ジャック不良も新品に交換する事で直しました。

    特に演奏上で問題はありませんがイモネジ等も酷く錆びており調整は不可能な状態です。

    楽器は金属パーツで調整する箇所も多いので普段から錆びさせない様に使用していかないと高額なパーツ交換費が発生しますので要注意です。

    This is a selector and jack replacement for a Yamaha Pacifica.

    The rust is so bad that the selector cannot be switched, and the selector lever is also broken due to rust.

    This is the first time to fix such a badly rusted condition, but the rust is so bad that the selector is stuck and the screw heads are so rusted that tools cannot enter and remove them.
    Even the screw threads inside the wiring are so rusted that it is impossible to remove them in the usual way.

    The pickguard screws are similarly rusted to the point where there is no longer a cross on the screws, making it difficult to remove them.
    It would be very expensive to remove all the screws that are in bad condition, so we broke the screw heads on the selector and replaced them with new ones, and also replaced the defective jack with a new one.

    There is no particular problem in playing the instrument, but the imo screws and other parts are badly rusted and cannot be adjusted.

    There are many parts of the instrument that need to be adjusted with metal parts, so please be careful not to let them rust on a regular basis, or you will have to pay for expensive parts replacement.

    最初からトラスロッドに余裕少ない状態ですが弾き易い状態に調整できました。
    近年は木材が柔らかいので最初からトラスロッドに余裕が無い事がかなり多くなってきました。
    なので購入時に確認して購入する事が非常に重要です。
    そもそも楽器屋がこの辺りの状態の難点を隠して販売するので、そうしたお店と分かればそこで買わないで下さい。

    弾き易く音が良いモデルです。
    実質アンプが必要になるのでアコギというよりもエレキギターの扱いになるモデルですがヤマハ製は低価格帯からでも優秀な物が多いです。

  • YAMAHA Pacifica USA フレットすり合わせ＆フレットサイド処理＆PU交換 DP159 DiMarzio EVOLUTION

  • ヤマハUSA製パシフィカのフレットすり合わせ・フレットサイド処理・PU交換です。

    大きく順反りし調整でトラスロッドが限界状態です。

    過去に他店でフレットすり合わせをした事があるそうだが仕上げが雑でフレットを丸めていない台形状態です。
    ただ上面をすり合わせて終わった様な状態です。
    酷い仕上げで平気で渡してくる所も多いので気を付けましょう。

    フロント・リアPUをディマジオ製エボリューションに交換しました。

    フレットをすり合わせサイド処理も行う事で以前と全然違う弾き心地と弾き易さに変わりました。

    良いリペアショップか確認する方法として簡単な質問に「弦を緩めるかどうか？」を訪ねてみると良いです。
    詳しくは「個体による、トラスロッドの余り量を確認して個体に合わせる」が正確な答えですが知識の無いリペアショップは「弦は張りっぱなしで良い」と答えます。
    そうしたお店に頼んではいけません。知識が無いので良い仕事はできない所でしょう。

    This is a Yamaha USA Pacifica with fret grind, fret side treatment, and PU replacement.

    The truss rod is at the limit of its capacity due to the large forward bow and adjustment.

    A simple question to ask a good repair store is, “Do you loosen the strings?” You can also ask a simple question, “Do you loosen strings?
    The exact answer is “It depends on the individual instrument, check the amount of truss rod left and adjust it to the individual instrument”.
    Do not ask such a store to do the work. They are not knowledgeable and will not be able to do a good job.

  • ヤマハ製SFX-1の配線直し・セットアップです。

    ブースター搭載のモデルで音が急に小さく鳴ったりする様子です。

    元のジャック配線が（黒アース・白が電池アース・赤がホット線）でややこしい配線となっております。

    配線をお客様の要望でブースターを外し1Vo仕様に変更しました。

    中古品で購入されたとの事ですが間違ったビスが付いている箇所があり、木ネジが使われててビス山が壊れている箇所があります。
    中古品は前オーナーの素人イジリで壊れている事も多いので、現在は入手できないパーツ等に破損が起こっていると厄介です。

    歪ませると音が太くレンジが広い、ディマジオのモデルにある様なサウンドでした。

    トラスロッドが限界近いので弾いた後は弦を緩め保管していないと将来的に厳しい状態です。

    This is a rewiring and setup of a Yamaha SFX-1.

    We changed the wiring to 1Vo specification by removing the booster at the customer’s request.

    The screws are used wood screws, and the screw threads are broken.

    When distorted, the sound is fat and has a wide range, like a DiMaggio model.

    中古で楽器屋で購入したとの事です。

    チェックしてみると最初からトラスロッド限界状態、順反りしていて弦高が高いですが一応は弾ける状態です。

    新品でも中古でもトラスロッドの余り量を確認して購入する事は非常に重要です。
    寿命の観点から、長持ちするかしないかが初期状態で大きく異なってくるからです。
    当然ながら余り量が多いと順反りの修正範囲が大きくなるので、結果として寿命が長くなります。

    この辺りは楽器屋も非常に無頓着なので注意が必要です。
    知識を付けて買う前に店員に検品させて買わないと安心して購入が難しい時代です。

  • YAMAHA製SFX-3のトグルスイッチ交換です。

    トグル破損で音が出ない状態です。
    かなり古いモデルで、現在では見かけない古いタイプのトグルスイッチが使われています。

    配線も多少は異なりますが通常のトグルスイッチへ交換は可能です。
    交換する事で無事に音が出る状態となりました。

    音が良く、PUが見た目的にハイゲインモデルかと思いきやそうでもなく、クリーンが良いサウンドです。
    ヤマハ製は昔から良いモデルが多いのでお勧めできますが、古くなれば当然ながら状態が悪い事が多いので中古品を購入の際は注意が必要になってきます。

    This is a toggle switch replacement for a YAMAHA SFX-3.

    The toggle is damaged and no sound is coming out.

    元からトラスロッドの余裕が少ない状態で、調整でトラスロッド限界状態、それでもまだまだ順反り状態です。

    アコギはエレキギターと違い太い弦を張るので弦張力が強い事と、トップ浮きもあり弦高が高く弾き難くなる事が多い楽器です。

    完全に消耗品と割り切るか、正しい保管方法を行わないとまず長生きしません。

    音が良いのでさすがヤマハですが、弾けない状態になると意味がありませんので大事に扱って長く使用できる様に努力が必要です。

  • ヤマハ製MG-MⅡのセットアップです。

    中古で購入したとの事ですが殆どトラスロッドに余裕が無い状態です。
    調整でトラスロッドが限界となりました。

    弦を切らないで張れるフロイドローズが搭載されたモデルで調整がし易いです。

    B’zファンが購入するモデルかと思いますが、こちらのモデルは音が非常に良いです。
    これはファンでなくてもお勧めの１台です。

    フロントはマイルド、リアは歪みのノリが非常に良くB’zっぽい歪みサウンドでもあるので本人が使用しているのも納得な気がします。
