  • ヤマハ製BBのジャック交換・セットアップです。

    かなり古いモデルです。
    ジャックが割れて音が出ない状態です。

    昔のモデルはエフェクターに付いている様なプラスチックケースのジャックが付いており、これが割れて破損すると音が出なくなります。
    新しいジャックに交換し無事に音が出せる状態になりました。

    順反りで弾き難い状態を調整して弾き易くしました。

    ヤマハ製は昔から低価格帯で優秀で、まず欠点がありません。
    音が良く弾き易い、そして安いです。

    This is a Yamaha BB jack replacement and setup.

    This is a very old model.
    The jack is cracked and no sound is coming out.

  • ヤマハ製TRBXのナット溝埋め＆切り、セットアップです。

    4弦のナット高が最初から低く音詰まりしているので埋めて切り直しました。
    大手楽器店の状態が良い中古との事で購入されたそうですが、大きく順反りさせて状態を誤魔化している事に呆れてしまいます。

    コロナ中の楽器ブームも過ぎ去り、世間の楽器屋は楽器が売れず困っている様子だそうですが状態が悪い物を誤魔化して売ってる様ではこの機会に潰れてしまった方が世の為になると思います。
    本当に良い物を売る、そんな志が無く利益目的だけで存在しているのであれば人に迷惑を掛ける存在になってしまいます。

    ナットの不具合は順反りさせ弦高を上げる事で誤魔化す事ができるので、そうした異常を感じる個体は避けたり販売している所に質問していた方が良いです。
    弦高が高く弾き難い個体は基本何かしら不具合を隠していると思った方が良いです。

    音が良く弾き易い個体になりました。

    ヤマハ製は基本低価格でも優秀な個体が多いので非常にお勧めです。

    This is a Yamaha TRBX nut groove fill & cut and setup.

    The nut height of the 4th string was low from the beginning and the sound was clogged, so we filled and cut it back.
    It was purchased from a major music store as a used instrument in good condition, but we were dismayed to see that it was greatly warped in order to deceive the public about its condition.

    The musical instrument boom in Corona has passed, and the musical instrument shops in the world are having trouble selling musical instruments, but I think it would be better for the world if they take this opportunity to go out of business if they are selling instruments in bad condition by deception.
    If they are only in business for profit and have no aspiration to sell truly good products, they will be a nuisance to others.

    It is possible to cover up a defect in the nut by warping it in the forward direction and raising the string height, so it is better to avoid any piece that feels abnormal or to ask questions to the place that sells it.
    If the string height is high and hard to play, it is better to think that there is something wrong with the instrument.

    The sound is good and easy to play.

    I highly recommend Yamaha because they have many excellent pieces at a low price.

  • ヤマハ製パシフィカのセットアップです。

    大きく順反り、かなり弦高が高く弾き難い状態です。

    また低価格帯の品質により、ネックポケットにシムを入れた方が良いパターンがあります。

    こちらのモデルは古いモデル？なのか、あまり精度が良くありません。

    シムを2枚入れる事で弾き易くなりました。

    ネックポケットが深く掘り過ぎているモデルは弦高が合わない為、シムで高さを調整する事で全体的に弾き易くなります。

    This is a Yamaha Pacifica setup.

    It has a large forward warp and the string height is quite high and difficult to play.

    Also, due to the low end quality, there is a pattern that would benefit from shims in the neck pocket.

  • ヤマハ製BB734のミニスイッチ交換・セットアップです。

    ミニスイッチが破損している状態で交換しました。

    また大きく順反りし弾き難い状態です。セットアップするとトラスロッド限界状態となりました。

    弾き易く音が良いモデルです。
    ヤマハ製は低価格帯から良いモデルが多いですが状態に関しては低価格帯や高価格帯に関係無く基本保管方法は同じです。
    トラスロッドに余裕ができる様にこれからは扱わないと長持ちしません。

    This is a mini-switch replacement and setup for a Yamaha BB734.

    The mini-switch was replaced with a damaged mini-switch.

    It is also hard to play because of the large forward bow. The truss rod was at the limit when set up.

    This model is easy to play and has a good sound.
    Yamaha has many good models in the low price range, but the basic storage method is the same regardless of the price range.
    The truss rod should be handled so that there is enough room for the truss rod to play, otherwise it won’t last long.

  • ヤマハ製BB434のセットアップ・ストラップピン穴修正です。

    ストラップピンの穴がガバガバとなっており埋めて空け直しを行いました。

    大きく順反りを直しており非常に弾き難い状態を調整し弾き易くしました。

    ヤマハ製は低価格帯で優秀なモデルが多く、弾き易く音も良い個体ばかりで非常にコストパフォーマンスが高いメーカーです。

    どうしても日本国内での評価が低い様に思うのですが、大手のマーケティング戦略に多くの消費者が洗脳されている事がよく分かるメーカーです。
    その辺に安く沢山売ってる物が良い物という、でもそれは多くの人が知らないという変な環境です。

    This is a setup and strap pin hole correction for a Yamaha BB434.

    The strap pin holes had become too tight and we filled and re-filled them.

    The large forward warp had been corrected and the very difficult to play condition was adjusted to make it easier to play.

    Yamaha has many excellent models in the low price range, all of which are easy to play and sound great, making them a very cost-effective manufacturer.

    I think that Yamaha is not well-reputed in Japan, but I understand that many consumers have been brainwashed by the marketing strategies of the big companies.
    It is a strange environment in which many people are unaware of the fact that what is sold cheaply and in abundance around the corner is a good product.

  • ヤマハ製サイレントギターのセットアップです。

    大きく順反りして弦高が高い状態で弾き難いです。

    調整でトラスロッドが限界状態となりました。

    こちらのネックは補強材でも入っているのか？の様にネック剛性が高いのですが、現実は補強材を入れてれば反らない訳ではありません。
    古くはモジュラス等の質が良いカーボンで作られたネックですら弦張力で反るのですから、補強材は入れてれば大丈夫な訳はありません。
    入れないよりはマシになる程度で、弦張力の強い負荷が常にネックに掛かっていたらネックは順反りしていきトラスロッドで調整できる範囲を終えてしまいます。

    ネック剛性が高いとトラスロッドを回してもあまり反りが動かないのですが、その分弦の張力でも反りが変化し難いです。
    こうした場合で勘違いが起こり易いのですが「弦の張力でネックが反らない→ネック強度が高い」と判断するのは正しいのですがそこから「なのでこのギターは張りっぱなしで良い」と判断するのは甘いです。
    何故昔から弦は緩めた方が良いと言ってるのかリスナーなら分かると思いますが、それだけ弦の張力が物体を変形させる位に非常に強い力が発生している事とそれに対抗できる充分な構造で作られていない事が理由です。
    順反ってしまう物と考えて使用し続けないと長持ちできません。
    順反りしてきたら私が昔から発信している様な方法で逆反りさせる工夫等も必要になってきます。
    長持ちさせる秘訣はトラスロッドの余り量を意識して、余裕が無いなら逆反りさせる様に保管してくる工夫も必要になってきます。

    This is a Yamaha Silent Guitar setup.

    It is hard to play with a large forward bow and high string height.

    The truss rod is at its limit after adjustment.

    The neck of this guitar has a high stiffness as if it has a reinforcing material in it. In reality, however, it does not mean that the neck will not warp if reinforcement is used.
    Even necks made of high quality carbon such as modulus in the past warped due to string tension.
    If the neck is always subjected to a strong load of string tension, the neck will warp in the forward direction and the range where the truss rod can be adjusted will be over.

    If the neck is rigid, the warp will not move much when the truss rod is turned, but this makes it difficult for the warp to change even with string tension.
    In such cases, it is easy to make a mistake. It is correct to judge that “the neck does not warp under string tension” as “the neck is strong,” but it is naive to judge that “the guitar can be left taut because of this.
    Listeners will understand why I have always said that it is better to loosen the strings. The reason is that the tension of the strings generates a force so strong that it can deform the object, and the guitar is not made with sufficient structure to resist this force.
    If you don’t continue to use it as if it will warp in turn, it won’t last long.

  • ヤマハ製FG-180のフレットすり合わせ・ナット溝切り調整です。

    古いモデルですが過去にフレット交換されており状態が良くなっている様子ですがその後弾き込まれた大きな消耗により状態が悪くフレットの大きな消耗、ナット高が高い状態です。

    フレットをすり合わせ、高いナットを切って弾き易く仕上げる事ができました。

    ヤマハのFGシリーズは低価格帯ながら音質が良い物が多く、流石に近年の中古で手に入る物は状態が悪い物ばかりでとても使える様な物を手に入れれたらラッキーだと思います。

    基本はトラスロッド限界で大きく順反り・トップ浮きも酷く弦高も高い物が多いので、まず使用できるレベルじゃない物が多いです。

    そうした意味でも使用できる状態というのは価値があります。
    昔の低価格帯は数万円でも現在の20～30万円と同じ位と言っても良い位の物が多いです。

    This is a Yamaha FG-180 fret grind and nut groove cut adjustment.

    We were able to finish the guitar by matching the frets and cutting the high nut to make it easier to play.

    In this sense, it is valuable to have them in usable condition.

    お客様がナット溝を削って高さが低くなり死んだ状態です。

    ナットやフレットの加工作業は非常に難しいのでお勧めしません。
    ネット情報はとてもテキトーで、あたかも「素人でも簡単にできますよ」とウソを発信してアクセス稼ぎをしている人達ばかりです。
    実際はできてるつもりになっているだけなので要注意です。

    ナットを交換し問題が無い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

  • ヤマハ製SG-1000のフレットすり合わせです。

    音詰まり、フレット交換歴があるとの事だがフレットの高さ精度が悪い状態です。

    ヤマハの古いSGモデルは中古価格が非常に高額になってきており気軽に入手できないモデルになりつつあります。

    ナット高が低く消耗してくると音詰まりしそうな状態です。

    フレットをすり合わせ、問題が無い状態に仕上げました。
    ナットはまだ使用できそうですが、消耗すると開放弦の音が詰まってくるかもしれません。その際は交換です。

  • ヤマハ製LL6のセットアップです。

    大きく順反りし弾き難い状態です。

    調整でトラスロッド限界、やや順反りの状態です。
    アコギは当然ながらエレキギターと違い太い弦を使用するので弦を張りっぱなしにしていれば順反りしていくのとプラスしてトップ材が浮いて弦高が高くなっていきます。

    エレキギターも近年は木材が柔らかくなってきているので猶更使用していない時は弦を緩めていないと単純に寿命が短くなるという事になります。

    音が良く、低価格帯には思えないサウンドです。
    ヤマハは低価格帯でも音質が良いアコギが多く、数万円でも人に勧められる個体が多いので購入にお勧めです。
    特にアコギはこうした構造上、強い弦張力でネックもボディもダメになるので完全に消耗品楽器と思っていた方が良いです。
    なのでこうした低価格帯で良い楽器が買えるヤマハは非常に優秀です。
    私も昔は3万円位のヤマハ製アコギをレコーディング等にも使用していました。

    It is hard to play due to the large forward bow.

    The truss rod is at the limit after adjustment, and the guitar is slightly warped.
    Unlike electric guitars, acoustic guitars use thicker strings, so if the strings are left taut, the strings will bow forward and the top wood will float, making the string height higher.

    The wood of electric guitars has become softer in recent years, so if you don’t loosen the strings when not in use, you will simply shorten the life of the guitar.

    The sound is good and does not seem to be in the low price range.
    Yamaha has many acoustic guitars with good sound quality even in the low price range, and many of them can be recommended to others for tens of thousands of yen, making them a good purchase.
    Especially, due to the structure of acoustic guitars, it is better to think of them as completely consumable instruments, as both the neck and body can be ruined by the strong string tension.
    Therefore, Yamaha is a very good place to buy a good instrument at such a low price range.
    I used to use a Yamaha acoustic guitar for recording and other purposes for about 30,000 yen.
