G7製G7-STのPU交換・セットアップです。

リアPUから音が出なくなったとの事でチェックしてみると、リアPUが壊れている状態でした。

PUは突然死する事があるので消耗品です。原因は不明ですが衝撃や温度差・湿度差が大きい箇所で保管している場合でなくてもいきなり壊れる事があります。

壊れたら基本は交換です。

PU本体はこちらで用意ができないので、お勧めしたヴァンザンド製ヴィンテージプラスに交換しました。

ナット高が低く死にかけ状態です。ナット交換をした方がより良い状態になりますので次回はナット交換がお勧めです。

This is a pickup replacement and setup for a G7-ST made by G7.

The customer reported that the rear pickup had stopped producing sound, so I checked it and found that the rear pickup was broken.

Pickups are considered consumable parts because they can fail suddenly. The cause is unknown, but they can fail unexpectedly even if they aren’t stored in environments with extreme impacts, temperature fluctuations, or humidity changes.

When a pickup fails, the standard procedure is to replace it.

Since we couldn’t source the original pickup, we replaced it with the Vanzand Vintage Plus, which we recommended.

The nut height is low, and the guitar is in poor condition. Replacing the nut would improve the guitar’s condition, so we recommend doing that next time.
