ギブソンカスタムショップ製レスポールカスタムのポット交換です。

ノブを接着剤で付けてみたらポットが回らなくなったとの事で持ち込まれました。

ノブが上手く付かない場合は接着剤を使用しないで下さい。
ポットは消耗品の為、交換する事も考えたら交換時に困難になります。

接着剤が垂れてポットのナットまで固まっており、その上でナットが斜めに入って無理矢理溝に噛んでいる事から外れない状態（過去に交換していない箇所）です。

ですのでコントロール側からポットを壊して外し、新品に交換する事で元通りに復元する事ができました。

Pot replacement on a Gibson Custom Shop Les Paul Custom.

The customer brought it in because the knobs wouldn’t turn after trying to attach them with adhesive.

Please do not use adhesive if the knobs won’t fit properly.
Since pots are consumable parts, using adhesive makes replacement difficult later.

Adhesive had dripped and hardened all the way to the pot’s nut. The nut was then forced into the groove at an angle, making it impossible to remove (this was a previously unreplaced section).

Therefore, we removed the pot by breaking it from the control side and replaced it with a new one, restoring it to its original condition.
