  • エンプレスエフェクト製ジーンドライブのフットスイッチ交換です。

    ON時に音が小さい状態です。
    チェックしてみるとフットスイッチの接触不良の様子です。

    新品のフットスイッチに交換する事で直りました。

    フットスイッチも消耗品で、何度も切り替えていれば壊れるパーツです。

    注目点として、こうした消耗品が交換し易い状態になってるか？がエフェクター購入で重要にしたいポイントです。
    エフェクターブランドも何故かこうしたいずれ交換する時が来るパーツを交換し難い構造で作っている物も多くあるので、そうした個体は修理に非常に高額な出費となります。

    エフェクターは購入前に裏パネルを開けて見させてもらう位はしてから購入する事をお勧めします。
    基盤に付いていて交換がやり難い・全てのパーツが基盤に付いてて、パーツのハンダ箇所全て外さないと基盤がケースから取れない等のパーツ1つへのアクセスが困難な内部構造の物は避けた方が良いです。
    こちらのモデルは特に問題無しです。

    Replacing the foot switch on an Empress Effect Gene Drive.

    The sound was too quiet when switched ON.
    Upon inspection, it appeared the foot switch had poor contact.

    Replacing it with a new foot switch fixed the issue.

    Foot switches are consumable parts; they break down with repeated switching.

    A key point to note is whether such consumable parts are designed for easy replacement. This is an important consideration when purchasing effects pedals.
    For some reason, many effects pedal brands design their products with parts that are difficult to replace when the time comes. Such units can become extremely expensive to repair.

    I recommend opening the back panel to inspect the internal components before purchasing any effects pedal.
    Avoid models with internal structures that make accessing a single part difficult, such as components soldered directly to the circuit board, or designs where the entire board is attached to the case and must be completely desoldered to remove it.
    This particular model has no such issues.

  • フルトーン製デジャバイブ2のフットスイッチ交換です。

    フットスイッチが壊れて音が出ない状態です。交換すると問題無く音が出る状態になりました。

    100Vコンセントから電源を取りダウントランス、18Vで駆動しているモデルです。

    こうした仕様からノイズに強いかもしれません。珍しい回路なので今ではあまり見かけない仕様です。

  • MXR製フェイズ45のフットスイッチ交換です。

    音が切り替わらなくなる事があるとの事です。
    フットスイッチも消耗品ですので基本は交換する時期が来ます。

    交換する事で問題無くON-OFFができる様になりました。

    電池部分が後付けのDCケーブルの増設されているが、接触が悪く電源が落ちる事があります。
    中古品は消耗も含め前オーナーの改造により不具合箇所となっている事があるので注意が必要です。

    This is a footswitch replacement for an MXR Phase 45.

    The sound sometimes does not switch.
    The footswitch is also a consumable item, so it is basically time to replace it.

    By replacing the foot switch, it can now be turned on and off without any problems.

    The battery part has an additional DC cable installed after the battery part, but the contact is poor and the power may drop out.
    Please note that used products may have defects due to modifications made by the previous owner, including wear and tear.

  • メナトーン製メナワットのフットスイッチ交換です。

    音が切り替わらない事があるとの事で新品フットスイッチに交換して対処しました。

    フットスイッチは完全に消耗品です。

    切り替え頻度が多いとそれだけ壊れ易くなる事や、踏む際に体重を掛けて踏んだりすると負担により消耗も早まると思います。

    壊れても交換はできますが内部構造により交換が大変だったり、特殊なスイッチを使用しているとパーツが入手できず交換不可の場合があります。

    This is a footswitch replacement for a Menawat made by Menatone.

    The sound sometimes does not switch, so we took care of this problem by replacing the footswitch with a new one.

    Footswitches are completely consumable.

    If the footswitch is switched too often, it will break easily, and if you put your weight on it when stepping on it, it will wear out faster due to the burden.

    If the switch is broken, it can be replaced, but it may be difficult to do so due to the internal structure, or if a special switch is used, parts may not be available and replacement may not be possible.

  • Vox製V847のフットスイッチ交換です。

    フットスイッチ破損でクリーン音が出ない状態です。

    フットスイッチは消耗品の為、切り替えが多くなると破損します。
    壊れたら交換すれば問題ありません。
    しかしエフェクターによっては1つのパーツを交換するのに大変な作業が必要になる事もあるので、この辺りは正直消耗品とされる箇所を交換し易い様に作っていないメーカーが悪いです。

    ワウの場合は交換がし易い様にできていますがスイッチやポットに基盤が付いたりする場合もあるので今後はやり難くなると予想されます。

    フットスイッチを交換し問題無い状態に仕上がる事ができました。

    This is a footswitch replacement for a Vox V847.

    The footswitch is damaged and there is no clean sound.

    The footswitch is a consumable item and will break if it is switched too often.
    If it breaks, it is no problem to replace it.
    However, depending on the effector, it may take a lot of work to replace one part, so it is the manufacturer’s fault for not making parts that are considered consumables easy to replace.

    In the case of the wah, it is made to be easy to replace, but it is expected to become more difficult in the future because the switch or pot may have a circuit board attached to it.

    We were able to replace the footswitch and finish it up with no problems.

  • エレクトロハーモニクス製スモールクローンのフットスイッチ交換です。

    最初からトゥルーバイパスになっている個体です。

    フットスイッチの消耗でクリーン時に音が出ない時がある状態です。
    フットスイッチは消耗品ですので、基本的に使っていれば交換が必要な故障が出てきます。

    新品へ交換する事で問題無い状態となりました。

    電源が3.5ｍｍイヤホンジャックなので電池動作ですが、クリップで直結して電源を入れる事は可能です。

    メーカーはエフェクターも全て同じDCジャックに共通させてほしいです。

    This is a footswitch replacement for an Electro Harmonix small clone.

    This unit has been on true bypass from the beginning.

    The footswitch is worn out and sometimes no sound is produced when clean.
    The footswitch is a consumable item, so basically, if you use it, it will fail and need to be replaced.

    By replacing the footswitch with a new one, it is now in a problem-free condition.

    The power supply is a 3.5mm earphone jack, so it is battery operated, but it can be directly connected to the power supply with a clip.

    I wish the manufacturer would make all effectors share the same DC jack.

  • ベムラム製ジャンレイのフットスイッチ交換です。

    切り替えで音が出ない時がある事と基盤に付いているフットスイッチタイプです。

    フットスイッチは消耗品ですので、使用頻度が高いと壊れてくるパーツになります。
    ただ基盤に直接付いていると交換がやり難いので、メーカーも消耗品箇所は交換し易い様に作ってほしいと願います。

    あまり歪まない個体で音がかなり太く、フロントPUで鳴らしている様なサウンドで非常にクセがある音がします。
    中々個性が強い音なので一般受けはしないかもしれませんが、こんなエフェクターもあるんだなと触ってみると面白いかもしれません。

    ON時の音が非常に小さく、恐らくフットスイッチ不良です。

    フットスイッチはよくON/OFFしたり多用すれば壊れ易いパーツとなります。
    また体重を掛けて踏む人が居ますがこうした事も破損の原因になります。

    交換しましたが内部が交換し難い構造です。

    メーカーは消耗パーツを交換し易い様に作っていてほしい所です。

    The sound when turning on is very low, probably due to a defective footswitch.

  • クライベイビー製トーマスオルガン、95-910511のポット交換・フットスイッチ交換・トゥルーバイパス化になります。

    ポットにガリがある状態、またフットスイッチを交換してトゥルーバイパス化しました。

    ワウはポットを動かしてエフェクトを掛けるエフェクターなので、使用頻度が多ければそれだけ消耗します。
    このポットの抵抗値を変える事でも音質を変えれますので、こだわりがある人は抵抗値を変えてみる改造もオススメです。

    こちらのモデルは通常のクライベイビーとは内部が違う仕様の様です。

    音は内部のパーツが影響しているのか軽めで、深くエフェクトが掛かる感じじゃないワウペダルです。

    This is a pot replacement, footswitch replacement, and true bypass conversion of a Crybaby Thomas organ, 95-910511.

    The pot has been replaced and the footswitch has been changed to a true bypass.

    The wah is an effect pedal that moves a pot to apply an effect, so if it is used frequently, it will wear out.
    The sound quality can be changed by changing the resistance value of the pot, so if you are particular about it, we recommend changing the resistance value.

    This model seems to have a different internal specification from the normal Crybaby.

    The sound is light and not deeply effected by the internal parts.

  • ベースの内臓プリアンプをエフェクターケースに内臓してエフェクター化したバルトリーニXTCT＋MCT375、アウトボードエフェクターのDCジャック交換・LED交換・フットスイッチ交換です。

    消耗でフットスイッチの切り替えが悪く音が出なくなる事がある状態です。
    フットスイッチは基本的に消耗品で、パーツによって「耐久回数〇万回」等と具体的に使用回数が明記されています。
    たまに居るのはフットスイッチに体重を掛けて踏む人が居るのですが、恐らくその様に使ってる人も早いスパンで壊れると思います。

    またLEDが明る過ぎなので普通の物に変えたいとの事でLEDを交換しました。
    ここは抵抗器でも調整できますが高光度LEDは非常に明るく目にも痛い光を出すので通常のLEDの方が良いと思います。

    ＤＣジャックにガリがあり電源の通電に不安がある状態ですので交換しました。

    ベースの内臓プリアンプはエフェクター化する事で本体内蔵とまた違う印象があると思います。
    アクティブベースは簡単に言えばエフェクターを内蔵したベースになるので、人により使い易い・使い難いと感じると思いますのでしっくりくる物が見つかるまで交換が多いパーツと思います。
    外したプリアンプをエフェクターに内臓してしまえば同じ様に使用ができるので「本体に内臓して使うには微妙だけど要らない訳じゃない」の様なプリアンプはエフェクター化して使うのも良いでしょう。

    This is a DC jack replacement, LED replacement, and footswitch replacement for a Bartolini XTCT + MCT375, outboard effects pedal, which is an effects pedal with a bass internal preamp built into the effects case.

    It is in a state where the footswitch is not switching properly due to wear and tear, and sometimes no sound is coming out.
    The footswitch is basically a consumable item, and the number of times it can be used is specified by the part, such as “endurance of 100,000 times.
    Sometimes there are people who put their weight on the foot switch and step on it, but I think it will break in a short span of time.

    Also, the LEDs are too bright, so we replaced them with normal ones.
    We can adjust the LEDs with a resistor, but the high luminosity LEDs are very bright and hurt the eyes, so we think it is better to use the regular LEDs.

    The DC jack has a buzzing noise, so we replaced it.

    The internal pre-amp of the bass has a different impression from that of the built-in effects unit.
    Active basses are simply put, basses with built-in effectors, so they are easy or difficult to use depending on the person.
    If you put the removed preamp inside the effector, you can use it in the same way, so it would be good to use the preamp that is “too subtle to use inside the main unit, but not unnecessary” by turning it into an effector.
