  • ジャクソン製ソロイストの配線直し・セットアップです。左利きモデルです。

    内部の配線が雑な改造がされており、その影響か音が小さくなったり不安定な状態になるとの事です。

    不安要素があるボリューム・セレクター・ジャックを交換しました。
    トーン以外の直接音の信号に影響がある部分は新品に交換したので、後は配線材かピックアップに不具合が無ければ問題無い事でしょう。

    またお客様持ち込みの安物弦で調整を行いましたが、安物弦はオクターブ調整がおかしくなる事が多いです。
    明らかオクターブが高いor低いが安物弦には起き易いので、サドルの位置もおかしな所に位置が来たりします。

    安物弦でもこうした不具合が起きないなら使用に問題無いのですが、今回の様なオクターブに難が起こる弦は基本的にハズレ（使用はお勧めしない状態）となります。
    張り替えて使用するか、ダダリオ等のまともな弦を使用する事をお勧めします。

    Jackson Soloist rewiring and setup. Left-handed model.

    The internal wiring had been sloppily modified, which apparently caused issues like reduced volume and instability.

    Replaced the volume, selector switch, and jack, which were problematic.
    All parts affecting the direct signal (excluding tone) were replaced with new components. Assuming no issues with the wiring or pickups, it should be fine now.

    Adjustments were performed using inexpensive strings provided by the customer. However, cheap strings often cause octave tuning issues.
    Cheap strings frequently result in noticeably high or low octaves, which can also lead to the saddle sitting in an incorrect position.

    If no such issues occur with cheap strings, they’re fine to use. However, strings causing octave problems like this one are basically defective (not recommended for use).
    I recommend either restringing and using them or switching to decent strings like D’Addario.

  • B.C.Rich製ワーロックの配線直し・セットアップです。

    弾き難い＋スイッチの切り替えで音が鳴らない状態です。

    弾き易く調整できたがトラスロッドに殆ど余裕が無い状態となりました。

    配線の内部をチェックしてみると配線が切れており、これが原因でブーストスイッチ時に音出ない様子です。

    切れた配線を直しチェックしてみるとこちらのブーストスイッチは歪みエフェクターを内蔵してるかの様にかなり歪む音色になります。

    また中にコイルが入っており疑似的なハムキャンセル効果を発生させている様子です。この年代にしては珍しいと思います。

    内部の配線はぐちゃぐちゃになっており、中古購入でしたら前オーナーの改造もあり得るので詳細不明ですがトラブルが起きてもおかしくない様な中身になっていました。

    リアPUのビスが短い物に交換されているのか、PU本体の高さを上げれないのでポールピース高で音量を調整し仕上げました。

    B.C. Rich Warlock wiring repair and setup.

    The guitar was difficult to play and produced no sound when switching modes.

    We adjusted it for playability, but the truss rod now has almost no adjustment room left.

    Upon inspecting the internal wiring, I found a broken wire. This was likely the cause of the no sound issue when using the boost switch.

    After repairing the broken wire and testing, the boost switch now produces a significantly distorted tone, almost as if it has a built-in distortion effect.

    Additionally, there is a coil inside, seemingly creating a pseudo-hum-canceling effect. This is quite unusual for a guitar of this vintage.

    The internal wiring was a complete mess. Since it was a used purchase, modifications by the previous owner are possible, so the details are unclear, but the inside looked like trouble was bound to happen.

    The rear pickup screws seemed to have been replaced with shorter ones, preventing me from raising the pickup height. I adjusted the volume using the pole piece height and finished the setup.

  • アイバニーズ製RGのフレットすり合わせ・配線直しです。

    センターPUが壊れており音が出ない状態です。
    フレットも消耗が全体的に大きい状態です。

    お客様との相談で電装を全て交換・3Wayセレクター仕様にしてフロントとリアで鳴る仕様となりました。

    フレットをすり合わせする事で演奏も良い状態で弾ける事となりました。

    モダン系サウンドかと思いましたが音が柔らかく、クリーンでも良いサウンドが出せる個体です。
    昔は日本製アイバニーズも低価格帯で良い個体が大量生産されていただけに中古品でもお勧めできる個体です。
    ただ補強材も入っていない薄いネックは状態が悪い事も多いので購入時は注意したいポイントです。

    Ibanez RG fret leveling and rewiring.

    The center pickup is broken and not producing sound.
    The frets show significant overall wear.

    After consulting with the customer, we replaced all electronics and converted it to a 3-way selector configuration, enabling sound from both the front and rear pickups.

    Fret leveling has restored the guitar to a playable condition.

    While expected to have a modern sound, it actually produces a soft tone and delivers excellent clean tones.
    Given that Japanese-made Ibanez guitars were once mass-produced at affordable prices with good quality, this used model is highly recommended.
    However, the thin neck without reinforcement often deteriorates quickly, so this is a key point to check when purchasing.

  • フェルナンデス製デジゾーの配線直しです。

    メルカリ？ヤフオクで買った個体との事です。

    音が出ない状態で、内部をチェックしてみると素人が作業して壊した様子です。
    特にメルカリはあるあるなのですが、説明文と異なり状態が酷い事が非常に多いので要注意です。

    ただアンプから音が出ない事は説明にあったそうで、スピーカーから音は出ると説明文にあったそうだが実際には音はスピーカー本体からも出ていません。

    内部に断線箇所があり、まず出品者の説明文がウソだった事は簡単に分かりました。

    断線箇所を直してみたら音が出ました。
    スピーカーとアンプ両方からも音が出る様になりました。

    デジゾーは基盤さえ生きてれば直す事ができますが、基盤にトラブルがあるとこちらではお手上げです。

    下手にイジられていると元に戻せない事も考えられますので、中古品は内部に手を加えられた個体は直せない事も考えて購入しないと危険です。

    Repairing wiring on a Fernandes Digizo.

    This unit was purchased on Mercari? Yahoo Auctions.

    It wasn’t producing sound, and upon checking inside, it appears an amateur attempted repairs and damaged it.
    This is especially common on Mercari—items are often in much worse condition than described, so be very careful.

    However, the seller did mention that no sound was coming from the amplifier. The description stated that sound would come from the speaker, but in reality, no sound was coming from the speaker itself either.

    There was a broken wire inside, so it was immediately clear that the seller’s description was false.

    After repairing the broken wire, sound came out.
    Sound now comes from both the speaker and the amplifier.

    Digizo can be repaired as long as the circuit board is functional, but if the board itself is faulty, we’re helpless.

    If it’s been tampered with carelessly, it might be impossible to restore it. When buying used items, you must consider that units with internal modifications might be irreparable, so purchasing them without this awareness is risky.

    ジャック不良、配線切れで音出ない状態です。

    お客様の要望でミッドブースターをスイッチポットでON/OFFできる様に加工しました。

    サドルが錆で弦高調整に難が起きています。
    錆びてビスが回らない場合、基本はパーツ交換となりますので注意が必要です。

    ナットが消耗で音詰まりする状態の為、次はナット交換のリペアをお勧めします。

    Fender Japan Eric Clapton model Stratocaster wiring repair and setup.

    The jack was faulty and wiring was broken, causing no sound output.

    Per the customer’s request, we modified it to enable switching the mid-boost on/off via a switch pot.

    The saddles are rusted, causing difficulty adjusting string height.
    If screws are rusted and won’t turn, part replacement is generally required, so caution is needed.

    The nut is worn, causing muffled notes. We recommend replacing the nut as the next repair step.

    お客様がご自身で電装パーツ交換し失敗した状態を手直しました。

    電装パーツ交換等はネット情報でいくらでも見つかりますが、簡単にできると錯覚しがちです。

    音にも大きく影響する部分となるので、素人作業だと音が出たとしても音が劣化した状態でパーツが付いて使い続ける事となり長い目を見たらマイナスになります。

    むしろ良いパーツを組むよりも良いハンダ付けの方が重要ですので、宝の持ち腐れ状態にならない為にもリペアショップにて組み込みをお勧めします。

    This is a rewiring and setup for a Saito S-622.

    We corrected the situation after the customer unsuccessfully replaced electrical components themselves.

    While you can find plenty of online guides for replacing electrical parts, it’s easy to fall into the illusion that it’s simple.

    Since this significantly impacts sound quality, amateur work may produce sound but will result in degraded audio. Continuing to use the parts in this degraded state is detrimental in the long run.

    In fact, proper soldering is more important than using high-end parts. To avoid wasting your investment, we recommend having the installation done at a repair shop.

    ペグをぶつけ壊れてしまったとの事でGOTOH製ロック式ペグに交換しました。

    お客様の要望でセレクターの位置変更をしました。
    本来ボリュームがある位置へセレクターを移動し、ボリュームをセレクターの位置へと変更です。追加でトーンを効かない状態にトーンカットも行いました。

    高額なモデルなのですが付いてるパーツが安物だったりと気になる箇所はいくつかありますが問題無く使用できる状態に復元しました。

    またスラント仕様PUの位置がおかしく、フロントPUは弦の真下にポールピースが綺麗に並んでない事から1弦の音が小さかったり（ポールピース高で対処）といい加減な点も見られます。
    値段を考えたら電装パーツは有名所の部品が付いていたり、スラント仕様も綺麗な弦位置に来る様な精度をしていてほしいです。

    This is a peg replacement, rewiring, and setup for an Ohmzby Elite 2.

    The pegs were damaged, so we replaced them with GOTOH lock-type pegs.

    At the customer’s request, we also adjusted the position of the selector switch.
    We moved the selector switch to the original volume control position and relocated the volume control to the selector switch position. Additionally, we performed a tone cut to eliminate tone functionality.

    Although this is a high-end model, there were a few concerning issues such as low-quality parts, but we have restored it to a fully functional state.

    Additionally, the slant-style pickup position was off, and the front pickup’s pole pieces were not aligned properly under the strings, causing the first string to sound weaker (addressed by adjusting the pole piece height). There were also some careless details.
    Considering the price, I would have liked to see more reputable brand components for the electronics and better precision in the slant-style pickup positioning to ensure proper string alignment.

    お客様の要望で電装系を新品に交換しました。
    低価格帯をまず音を良くする方法として、現在付いている電装パーツのグレードアップが基本的なスタート地点です。
    電装パーツを良くするにプラスして丁寧なハンダ付け作業を行う事としてかなり音質が良く変化します。

    交換後は音が太く柔らかくなり、安物パーツ＋大量生産の作業精度はパワー感が出なく音が細い傾向になりがちです。

    またトラスロッドが最初から殆ど限界状態です。

    新品購入なのか中古購入なのかは不明ですが、殆どの楽器屋は買う人の事を考えて商売はしておりません。
    その証拠にトラスロッドの余り量や効き具合を表記した上で販売している所はまずありません。
    なので購入時は状態を疑って、相手に目の前で状態を確認させてからでないと買ってはいけません。
    本来はその辺りを事前に検品チェックし公表してれば済む事です。
    その辺りが非常に雑な業界でもあるので、消費者側が指示して面倒を楽器屋に与えていかないと業界全体が良い方向へ変わりません。

    This is a rewiring and setup of a PRS SE Custom 24.

    At the customer’s request, we replaced the electrical components with new ones.
    As a way to improve the sound quality of a low-priced guitar, upgrading the existing electrical components is a basic starting point.
    In addition to upgrading the electrical components, careful soldering work can significantly improve the sound quality.

    After the replacement, the sound becomes fuller and softer. However, using low-quality parts combined with mass-production assembly precision tends to result in a lack of power and a thin sound.

    Additionally, the truss rod is already nearly at its limit from the start.

    Whether the guitar was purchased new or used is unclear, but most music stores do not prioritize the buyer’s interests in their business practices.
    As evidence, few stores specify the remaining travel or effectiveness of the truss rod when selling the instrument.
    Therefore, when purchasing, you should inspect the condition yourself and have the seller confirm it in front of you before making a decision.
    Ideally, these details should be inspected and disclosed beforehand.
    Since this industry is quite lax in such matters, consumers must take the initiative to demand transparency and hold stores accountable to drive positive change across the industry.

    お客様持ち込みの電装パーツに交換しました。

    ブリッジハンガーが奥までビスが回らない等の不具合はありますが、電装系を直しセットアップする事で使用できる状態に復元しました。

    古い低価格帯モデルですが弾く分には特に問題ありません。

    あまり世間に知られていない昔のモデルは現在でも安価に購入する事ができ、同じ金額を払うなら昔の物（ただし状態が良い物に限る）を購入した方がネック強度面もサウンド面も良好な事が多いです。

    分かってる人は昔のモデルを買って直して使用します。

    This is a rewiring and setup of a Metal Driver MD.

    We replaced the electrical parts with ones provided by the customer.

    There are some issues, such as the bridge hanger not being able to screw in all the way, but we were able to restore it to a usable condition by repairing the electrical system and setting it up.

    It is an older, low-priced model, but there are no particular issues with playing it.

    Less well-known older models can still be purchased affordably today, and for the same price, purchasing an older model (provided it is in good condition) often results in better neck strength and sound quality.

    Those in the know purchase older models, repair them, and use them.

    ギブソン製エクスプローラーの配線直し・セットアップです。

    大きく順反りで弾き難い状態、電装の消耗が大きく電装パーツ全てダメ、内部が素人配線作業された状態となっています。
    またリアPUが壊れていて音が出ません。

    リアPUをGOTOH製HB-Distortionに交換しました。

    リアの音は歪みでも形がスッキリと見え易いサウンドになりました。

    ナットが消耗で4弦は詰まり気味、フレットを詰まり気味な所がある。
    ネック周りのリペアも今後は必要そうな状態です。

    This is a rewiring and setup of a Gibson Explorer.

    The guitar was difficult to play due to significant warping, and the electrical components were worn out and completely damaged. The internal wiring had been done by an amateur.
    In addition, the rear pickup was broken and not producing any sound.

    We replaced the rear pickup with a GOTOH HB-Distortion.

    The rear sound now has a clean, distorted tone that is easy to discern.

    The nut is worn, causing the 4th string to buzz, and there are areas where the frets are buzzing.
    Repairs around the neck may also be necessary in the future.
