ヤマハ製FGX5のナット溝切り調整・弦高調整です。

エレアコで音が良いモデルです。

ナット溝の高い所があり弾き難い状態、トップ浮きで弦高が高い状態によりサドルを削りやや弦高を下げました。

アコギはどうしても消耗品の側面があり、長く使用していればボディのトップが浮いてきて弦高が上がり、サドルで削って使用する限度もあるので永遠に使える楽器ではないです。

基本的に弾かない時は弦を緩めていないと無駄にトップ浮きを進める事になるので、寿命の面ではエレキギターよりも分かり易く状態の悪さが日々の保管結果に出てきます。

This is a nut groove adjustment and string action adjustment for a Yamaha FGX5.

It’s a model known for its great sound as an electro-acoustic guitar.

The nut grooves were uneven in some places, making it difficult to play, and the top was lifting, causing the string action to be too high, so I filed down the saddle to lower the string action slightly.

Acoustic guitars are, by their very nature, subject to wear and tear. With prolonged use, the top of the body tends to lift, raising the string height. Since there’s a limit to how much the saddle can be filed down, they aren’t instruments that will last forever.

Basically, if you don’t loosen the strings when you’re not playing, it will unnecessarily accelerate the lifting of the top. In terms of lifespan, the effects of poor care are more evident in acoustic guitars than in electric guitars, as they become apparent in the daily storage conditions.
