ギブソン製レスポール、ゲイリームーアモデルのナット交換です。

ナット高が低過ぎて音詰まり、ネックを真っすぐにできない状態です。

ナットを交換し、ネック反りをストレートに調整できる事で弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

ナットにトラブルがあるギターベースは、わざと順反りにして弦高を高くして誤魔化して売られている事が多いです。

ナットは弦高を決める要素もあるので正しい高さになっている事が重要です。
消耗品でもあるので摩耗で低くなっているなら交換する必要がありますが、近年はネット情報で素人作業する人が増えており失敗して手放す人も多いので要注意ポイントです。

This is a nut replacement on a Gibson Les Paul Gary Moore model.

The nut height was too low, causing muffled tones and preventing the neck from being straightened.

By replacing the nut and adjusting the neck to a straight profile, we were able to restore the instrument to a playable condition.

Guitars and basses with nut issues are often sold with the neck intentionally set to a positive bow to raise the string height and mask the problem.

Since the nut plays a key role in determining string height, it’s crucial that it’s set to the correct height.
As it’s a consumable part, replacement is necessary if it’s worn down, but be cautious—in recent years, more amateurs have been attempting repairs based on online information, and many end up giving up their instruments after failing.
