G7ギター製ストラトキャスターのPU交換・セットアップです。

Vintage Maniacs製SL61に交換です。

音がもっさりめだが音抜け良くバランスが良いサウンドです。

元がヴァンザンド製ヴィンテージプラス/ブルース/ロックが付いており、交換後の音がヴァンザンドよりは太めとの事です。

このギターはセンタートーンが無いモデルです。
近年はフロント・センター、リアトーンで配線されたストラトキャスターが増えてきましたが、トーンが付いていないと音が明るくギラギラしてくるのでセンターの太さが減って使い易い音になるかもしれません。

PU replacement and setup for a G7 Guitars Stratocaster.

Replaced with Vintage Maniacs SL61 pickups.

The sound is a bit thicker but has good projection and a well-balanced tone.

Originally equipped with Vanzand Vintage Plus/Blues/Rock pickups; the replacement sound is reported to be fuller than the Vanzand.

This guitar model lacks a center tone control.
While Stratocasters wired with front/center/rear tone controls have become more common in recent years, the absence of a center tone control can result in a brighter, more sparkling sound. This might actually make the guitar easier to use by reducing the thickness of the center tone.
