  • バッカス製SGのペグ交換・セットアップです。

    チェックしてみると冬場の乾燥の影響かネックグリップ・セットネック部にひび割れが起きています。
    現状で使用には問題無さそうです。

    ペグをブッシュと共に同タイプへ交換しました。

    音が澄んでて綺麗な響きになりました。
    GOTOH製は金属が硬いのか、音が煌びやかな方向になる事が多いです。

    Peg replacement and setup for a Bacchus SG.

    Upon inspection, cracks appeared in the neck grip and set neck area, likely due to winter dryness.
    It seems usable as-is for now.

    Replaced the pegs with the same type, including the bushings.

    The sound is now clear and has a beautiful resonance.
    GOTOH pegs often produce a more brilliant tone, perhaps due to their harder metal.

  • フェンダージャパン製ストラトキャスターのセットアップです。

    購入したばかりとの事ですが弦高が低過ぎて音詰まりしてる状態です。

    調整する事で問題無く弾ける状態になりました。

    楽器屋で購入してもかなりいい加減な調整で販売していたり渡す事も多いので要注意ポイントです。
    特に楽器屋の店員は人員不足により店員が楽器を詳しく分からない場合も多いです。

    Setup for a Fender Japan Stratocaster.

    Although it was just purchased, the string height was too low, causing muffled notes.

    Adjustments were made to restore playability without issues.

    Be aware that even when purchased from a music store, instruments are often sold or handed over with quite sloppy adjustments.
    This is especially true when store staff are understaffed and may not be knowledgeable about the instruments.

  • フュートラ製リベルタスのハイパスフィルタ増設・セットアップです。

    お客様持ち込みのハイパスキャパシターを増設し、ボリュームの変化具合が変わりました。

    冬場の乾燥の影響か順反りで弦高が高い状態、指板痩せでフレットが飛び出ている状態です。

    こうした状態も湿気を与え続けていたら戻る可能性はありますが、弾いて気になる様であれば削って対処するしかありません。

    Installation and setup of a high-pass filter for the Fyutora Libertas.

    We added a high-pass capacitor provided by the customer, which altered the volume response.

    Due to winter dryness, the neck has warped forward, causing high string action, and the fingerboard has shrunk, making the frets protrude.

    While these issues might resolve with sustained humidity, if they become bothersome while playing, the only solution is to shave them down.

  • スイングギター製ジャズデラックス5の配線直しです。

    音が出ない状態・音が出てた時はミドルが効かなくなったとの事です。

    内部をチェックしてみると非常に配線が乱雑に詰められており、ジャックへの配線は異常に短く断線も起きていました。

    ポットが緩んでパーツが回転し配線が切れていたりする箇所があり、それら箇所を直す事で問題無く音が出る状態に復元しました。

    弾き易いのと音が良く、16万円にしては作りが良いモデルです。
    見た目は良いのですが電装系は値段なりの作りをしているのでトラブルが起き易いと思います。

    音はアクティブよりもパッシブ寄りで自然なEQの効きです。
    弾いて音だけ聴くなら16万とは思えないと思います。

    サイアーも同じ様に非常に良いベースですが電装系が乱雑なので、電装系にトラブルが起こる意識を持って購入された方が良いメーカーでしょう。

    Repairing the wiring on a Swing Guitar Jazz Deluxe 5.

    The issue was no sound output, and when it did produce sound, the middle pickup stopped working.

    Upon checking the internals, the wiring was extremely messy and crammed together. The wiring to the jack was abnormally short and had broken.

    Some pots were loose, causing parts to rotate and break wires. By fixing these areas, I restored it to a state where it produces sound without issues.

    It’s easy to play and sounds good. For ¥160,000, it’s a well-made model.
    It looks good, but the electronics are built to match the price point, so I think it’s prone to problems.

    The sound leans more passive than active, with a natural EQ response.
    If you just play it and listen to the sound, you wouldn’t think it’s ¥160,000.

    Sayer is also a very good bass, but their electronics are similarly messy. It’s a brand you should be aware of potential electrical issues when purchasing.

  • 電源ケーブル製作 WATTGATE 5266 BELDEN 19364

  • 配線材をベルデン19364、ワットゲート5266プラグを使用して電源ケーブル製作です。

    電源ケーブルの最低基準として「アース付き」と配線内部を「シールド効果がある配線」を使用すれば基本は問題ありません。

    機器に付いてる電源ケーブルは最低限の物でノイズにも弱く、基本的には19364の様な低価格帯でも基本条件を満たした電源ケーブルの使用をオススメします。

    Power cable fabrication using Belden 19364 wiring and Wattgate 5266 plugs.

    As a minimum standard for power cables, using “grounded” cables with “shielded wiring” internally will generally suffice.

    The power cables included with equipment are minimal and susceptible to noise. We recommend using power cables like the 19364, which meet basic requirements even at a low price point.

  • ギブソン製レスポールのセットアップです。

    順反りで弦高が高い状態です。
    反りを調整し弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

    PUがベアナックル製に変わっててフロントがスッキリ傾向、リアはミュールで硬くないサウンドです。

    Gibson系は音が太くブーミー傾向の為、スッキリ傾向のPUに交換するとバランス良く使えると思います。

    This is a setup for a Gibson Les Paul.

    It had a reverse bow and high string action.
    We adjusted the bow and finished it in a state that’s easy to play.

    The pickups have been changed to Bare Knuckle ones. The front pickup has a cleaner sound, while the rear pickup has a mellow, not overly hard sound.

    Since Gibson guitars tend to have a thick, boomy sound, swapping to cleaner-sounding pickups should provide a well-balanced tone.

  • ギブソン製レスポールカスタムの配線直し・セットアップです。

    アース線が切れてノイズが大きい状態です。

    アース線を繋げ直す事で直しました。

    ポットが緩んだまま使用していると、ポットが動き内部の配線を引っ張って断線を起こしたりしますので要注意です。
    また元からハンダ付けが下手な場合も多いので、初期状態は壊れ易いと思っていた方が良いかもしれません。

    大きく順反りして弾き難い状態を直し、弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

    Wiring repair and setup for a Gibson Les Paul Custom.

    The ground wire was broken, causing significant noise.

    The issue was resolved by reconnecting the ground wire.

    Be cautious: if a pot is used while loose, it can move and pull on the internal wiring, causing breaks.
    Also, since the original soldering is often poorly done, it’s wise to assume the initial state is prone to failure.

    We corrected the significant upward bow that made it difficult to play and finished it in a state that is easy to play.

    お客様の要望で弦高を低めに調整しました。

    音が良いモデルです。

    ヒストリー製もそうですがクールZ等も中古ではお手頃価格で販売されているのでお勧めです。
    実質フジゲン製なので、値段を考えたら中古で最もコストパフォーマンスが高いかもしれません。

    This is a setup for a History-made Les Paul.

    It had a reverse bow and was difficult to play.

    At the customer’s request, we adjusted the string height to be lower.

    It’s a model with great tone.

    History-made guitars like this, as well as models like the Cool Z, are sold at affordable prices used, so I recommend them.
    Since they’re essentially Fujigen-made, considering the price, they might offer the best cost performance among used guitars.

  • モガミ製3368の製作依頼です。

    2本製作、5ｍと3ｍの製作です。

    定番となりましたがフルテック製FP-703を付けた3368は非常にサウンドが良くなります。

    音に大きなバラツキを与えず良いフラット感を出してくれるので他のケーブルと違い扱い易いサウンドを出す事ができます。

    特に音に大きなバラツキを与えると音色のコントロールが難しくなり、出ていない帯域は出せないので大きな音の偏りを与えてしまうのでマイナスになります。
    3368はそうした音のデメリットが殆ど無い状態で出す事ができ、尚且つ安価で丈夫なので基本は3368を使用するのが定番となるでしょう。

    Request for Mogami 3368 cable fabrication.

    Two cables to be made: 5m and 3m lengths.

    While it’s become a standard, the 3368 equipped with Fulltec FP-703 connectors delivers significantly improved sound quality.

    It produces a good flat response without introducing major sound variations, resulting in an easier-to-handle sound compared to other cables.

    Significant sound variation makes tonal control difficult. Since absent frequencies cannot be produced, it creates pronounced sound imbalances, which is a negative.
    The 3368 minimizes such sound drawbacks while remaining affordable and durable. Therefore, using the 3368 as the standard choice is likely to become the norm.
