フェンダーメキシコ製ストラトキャスターのPU交換・コンデンサ交換です。

ルジール製のオーダーしたPUに交換です。

過去にルジールでオーダーしたPUを使用し、そこから自分好みに寄せていくオーダーを数回繰り返しやっと希望通りのモデルが作れた様子です。
音抜けが良くやや太めのサウンドで非常にバランスが良いリアPUになりました。

ストラトキャスターのリアＰＵは皆様も困っていると思いますが、ＰＵ交換でリアが今度は「パワーが有り過ぎる」や「フロント・センターとのバランスが悪い」となる事が多いです。
リアは「ほんの少しのパワーがほしい」はずですが、それを叶えてくれるＰＵが実はあまりありません。
好みもあると思いますが、リアＰＵはポジションとして音が細くなるのでやや音の太さが欲しく、その太さに高域が負けるとリアとして旨みを失うので低音と高音のバランス感がある上で少しパワーが必要な特殊なポジションです。

お客様の要望でコンデンサを0.022ufに交換しました。
ポットのkΩ数・コンデンサの数値で音が変わってくるので自分好みに付け替えた方が良いです。
この辺りに決まりはありません。

This is a pickup and capacitor replacement on a Fender Mexico Stratocaster.

We’re replacing the pickups with custom-made ones from Luzil.

It seems the owner used pickups previously ordered from Luzil, fine-tuning them to his liking through several iterations until he finally achieved the exact model he wanted.
The result is a rear pickup with excellent projection, a slightly fuller tone, and excellent balance.

I imagine many of you struggle with the Stratocaster’s bridge pickup; when replacing it, the bridge often ends up being “too powerful” or “out of balance with the neck and middle pickups.”
Ideally, you’d want “just a little more power” from the bridge pickup, but there aren’t actually many pickups that can deliver that.
Preferences vary, of course, but since the sound tends to get thinner in the bridge position, you want a bit of body. If the high frequencies overpower that body, the bridge loses its appeal, so it’s a unique position that requires a balance between low and high frequencies along with a bit of power.

At the customer’s request, I replaced the capacitor with a 0.022uF unit.
Since the sound changes depending on the pot’s resistance and the capacitor’s value, it’s best to swap them out to suit your own preferences.
There are no set rules regarding this.
