フェンダーUSA製ジャズマスターのフレット交換・セレクター交換・ジャック交換です。

消耗が大きい状態で、セレクター不良やジャックのガリが起きています。

フレット交換時はネックの状態が悪く、また指板Rもかなり荒いです。
ネックの捻じれを削って処理し指板Rを正しく整形して仕上げました。

またフェンダー製品のジャズマスターは何故かネックジョイントザグリが深い事が多く（過去にも同じ様な状態の物あり）、このモデルも同様です。
厚めのシム2枚入れて調整する事となりました。
過去のブログでも記載してますが酷い場合はシムを4～5枚入れないと正しい弦高にならない物もあったりします。

セレクター切り替えで音が出なくなる・ジャックにガリは新品パーツに交換し対処しました。

トラスロッドも殆ど100％余っている状態になり、長く使用し続けるには良好な状態です。

弾き易くなり音質も良い個体に産まれ変わりました。

This is a fret, selector switch, and jack replacement on a Fender USA Jazzmaster.

The instrument was in a state of significant wear, resulting in a faulty selector switch and a scratchy jack.

When replacing the frets, the neck was in poor condition, and the fingerboard radius was quite rough.
We corrected the neck twist by filing it down, properly reshaped the fingerboard radius, and finished the guitar.

Also, for some reason, Fender Jazzmasters often have deep neck joint recesses (I’ve seen similar cases in the past), and this model was no exception.
I had to insert two thick shims to adjust it.
As I’ve mentioned in past blog posts, in severe cases, I’ve had to insert 4–5 shims just to achieve the correct string height.

I resolved the issues with the selector switch not producing sound and the crackling jack by replacing them with new parts.

The truss rod now has nearly 100% of its travel remaining, putting it in excellent condition for long-term use.

It has been reborn as a guitar that’s easy to play and sounds great.
