フェンダーメキシコ製ストラトキャスターのセットアップです。

新品購入との事ですがかなり弦高が高い状態で弾き難いです。

トラスロッドの余り量が残り少ない状態で、新品でこの状態から使い続けるとなると長持ちはしないと思います。

現在は木材強度が昔と比べて非常に劣るので、新品でも弦張力に負けて大きく順反りそれをトラスロッドで真っ直ぐに直すので最初から多くトラスロッドが使われます。
だから新品でもトラスロッドに余裕が少ない物が多くなっています。

当然ながらそうした状態なので、弦を張ってたら順反りしていきトラスロッドの調整で直せる範囲を超えてきたらもうダメです。
新品時点でトラスロッドに余裕が少ない楽器はそうした楽器を買う意味でもあるので、購入前に必ず目の前で正しく調整できた上でトラスロッドを回させて余り量を確認して買わないと損です。

You mentioned you bought it brand new, but the string action is quite high, making it difficult to play.

There’s very little truss rod adjustment left, and if you continue playing it in this condition right out of the box, I don’t think it will last very long.

Nowadays, the strength of the wood is significantly inferior to what it used to be, so even brand-new guitars often warp significantly under string tension. Since the truss rod is used to straighten them out, a lot of adjustment is used up right from the start.
That’s why many brand-new guitars have very little truss rod adjustment left.

Naturally, in this condition, the neck will continue to bow forward as you play, and once it exceeds the range that can be corrected by adjusting the truss rod, the instrument is beyond repair.
Since buying an instrument with little truss rod adjustment range right out of the box is essentially the point of purchasing such an instrument, you’ll be wasting your money if you don’t have the dealer adjust it correctly right in front of you before buying—and let you turn the truss rod yourself to check the remaining adjustment range.
