t.m.p ストラトキャスター PU交換＆ジャック交換＆セットアップ GRINNING DOG

t.m.p製ストラトキャスターのPU交換・ジャック交換・セットアップです。

グリニングドッグ製55年モデルPUに交換、ジャックが消耗で交換しました。

ギター本体もPUも知る人ぞ知るメーカーです。

交換後のサウンドは耳に痛い所が出なくてコンプ感がありますが巻き弦の丸い感じの音が良いです。
プレーン弦の音も痛くないのでストラト的にはマイルドなサウンドになります。
巻き弦がトレブリーにうるさくないので細い音に感じない点も好印象です。

PUの良さを引き出すのも本体の良さが必要なので、良いPUを買う事も大事ですが本体の良さも大事です。
PUだけで音が決まっていると思っている人が多い印象ですが、大事な所はあくまでギター本体です。

This is a PU replacement, jack replacement and setup for a t.m.p Stratocaster.

Replaced with a ’55 model PU made by Grinning Dog, jack replaced due to wear and tear.

The guitar itself and the PU are both made by a well-known manufacturer.

The sound after the replacement is not painful to the ear and has a comped feel but has a nice rounded sound of the wound strings.
The sound of the plain strings is also not painful, so it sounds mildly Strat-like.
I also like the fact that the wound strings are not too loud on the treble so it does not feel like a thin sound.

It is important to buy a good PU, but it is also important to have a good body.
I have the impression that many people think that the sound is determined by the PU alone, but the important part is the body of the guitar.

レジェンドストラトキャスター配線直し＆セットアップ

レジェンド製ストラトキャスターの配線直し・セットアップです。

お客様の方で配線改造をして失敗した状態です。

配線をやり直し無事に音が出ました。

調整してみると意外と音が良く弾き易い個体で、3000円で買った個体との事です。
元々は低価格帯ですが近年は精度も良くなってまず大きな不具合は減ったと思います。

昔は1万円程度だとフォトジェニック製等のイメージが強く、誰がどう見ても酷かった物が多い代表メーカーですが近年はそうした酷い物も少なくなっています。

This is a rewiring and setup of a Legend Stratocaster.

The customer had made some modifications to the wiring and it failed.

The wiring was rewired and the sound came out fine.

The sound is surprisingly good and easy to play.
The price was originally in the low price range, but the accuracy has improved in recent years, and I think the number of major problems has decreased.

In the past, when the price was around 10,000 yen, there was a strong image of photojournalistic products, etc., and there were many representative manufacturers whose products were terrible by all accounts, but in recent years, such terrible products have become less common.

フェンダージャパン、Fシリアルのストラトキャスターのナット溝切り調整・フレットすり合わせ・ポット交換です。

ボリュームにガリ、フレットの消耗、ナット高が高い所がある状態です。
当時でも低価格帯になりますので細かい点は完璧ではありません。
現行品のフェンダー製品でも高額なモデルでもナットの高さが各弦で異常に上下がある物も多くあります。

パーツを交換しフレットをすり合わせ、ナット溝を仕上げる事で弾き易く問題が無い状態に仕上がりました。

またトラスロッドの余り量が多く、ネック強度が高いです。
昔は「良い木材があった」と分かる状態ですね。長い年月を生きてきてこの消耗状態で判断するなら木材が良い証拠です。
この年代ですらヴィンテージ扱いされて非常に高価になっている事は疑問なのですが、現代と比べて明らかに木材の質が違うのは確かです。

昔は低価格帯でも今で比較する所で30～40万円クラスの木材が数万円で使用されていた時代です。
なので当時のフェンダージャパン製はコストパフォーマンスが良く、別に昔の物でなくても2000年代中期辺りまでの物でも非常に良い物が多いです。

はっきり言えばこの年代を考えれば「数万円で良い楽器は普通にあった」となります。
と言っても昔からビジネス洗脳は強いので誰も特別な見向きはしなかった事でしょう。
今の高額な現行モデルよりも当時のフェンダージャパン製の方が音が良い場合が多いです。

This is a Fender Japan, F-Serial Stratocaster with nut groove cut adjustment, fret grind and pot replacement.

It is in good condition with some galling on the volume, fret wear, and high nut height in some places.
It is in the low price range even at the time, so the details are not perfect.
Even with current Fender products, there are many high priced models where the nut height is abnormally high or low on each string.

By replacing the parts, adjusting the frets, and finishing the nut groove, the guitar is now easy to play and has no problems.

Also, there is a lot of truss rod left over and the neck is very strong.
You can tell that there used to be “good wood” in this condition. If you judge by this worn condition after living for many years, it is a proof that the wood is good.
I doubt that even this age is treated as vintage and very expensive, but the quality of the wood is clearly different compared to today.

In the old days, even in the low price range, wood of 300,000-400,000 yen class was used for tens of thousands of yen in comparison with today.
Therefore, Fender Japan-made guitars of that time had good cost performance, and even if they were not made in the old days, there were many very good ones until around the mid-2000s.

To put it bluntly, considering this period, “good instruments were usually available for tens of thousands of yen”.
However, business brainwashing has been strong for a long time, so no one would have paid special attention to them.
In many cases, Fender Japan-made instruments back then sounded better than today’s expensive current models.

Tokai ストラトキャスターナット交換＆フレットすり合わせ

トーカイ製ストラトキャスターのナット交換・フレットすり合わせです。

古い年代製になります。そうした個体は基本状態が悪い為、中古で購入された際は大掛かりなリペアが必要になる事があります。

ナットは音詰まり、フレット状態も悪いです。

ナットを交換しフレットをすり合わせる事で状態を良くし問題無い状態に仕上げました。

ジャパンビンテージと言われる年代も確かに今の現行品と比べると音の面で良い個体が多いのは事実ですが、それに伴い状態が悪く許容内か許容外かで扱いが変わってきます。

基本的に古い物は状態が悪く、特にトラスロッドに余裕が無いと上手く直せない原因となりますので購入前に絶対に確認しておきたい重要ポイントです。

フェンダージャパン製ストラトキャスターのナット交換です。

ナット・フレットはかなり重要な部分になりますので、消耗してきた際は直す事をお勧めします。

消耗すれば音が悪くなっていくと思って問題ありません。
消耗するとナットもフレットも音が正しく出なくなっていきます。

ナットを交換し問題が無い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

ナットの消耗が大きいとネックの反りを正しく調整できない（反りを真っ直ぐにすると開放弦が詰まる等）ので注意が必要です。

Squier ストラトキャスター Eシリアル国産ナット溝切り調整＆セットアップ

スクワイヤー製ストラトキャスターのナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

古い日本製のEシリアルになります。この頃は低価格帯でも良い個体が多かったですね。

トラスロッドを回してみると効きがあまり良くない個体ですが、年代を考えたら状態は良い方です。

ナットが別のナットを移植している？のか、溝にRがあるタイプだが全く合っていないのを加工して付け直し、それでもナット高が非常に高いので削って直しました。

チョーキングで音詰まりする箇所があります。Rがキツイとチョーキングで音詰まりは起こりますがハイポジションのフレット状態が良くないです。
すり合わせした方が良い状態です。

PUがプリボラ1967に交換されているとの事で音が良くハーフトーンも良いサウンドです。リアが程好いパワーがあり使い易いストラトです。

This is a Squier Stratocaster nut groove cut adjustment and setup.

It is an old Japanese E serial. There were many good ones in the low price range at that time.

The truss rod is not very good, but considering the age, it is in good condition.

The nut is transplanted from another nut? The nut was transplanted from another nut, or perhaps it was a type with a radius in the groove, but it did not fit at all, so it was modified and reattached.

There is a part where the sound clogs up when choking, and if the R is too tight, the sound will clog up when choking, but the high position frets are not in good condition.
It is better to grind them together.

The PU has been replaced with a Prevola 1967, so the sound is good and the halftone is good. The rear has good power and is easy to use.

Squier日本製JVシリアルストラトキャスターナット交換

スクワイヤー製の古い日本製年代、JVシリアルストラトキャスターのナット交換です。

ナットが消耗で開放弦が音詰まり、順反りさせて無理矢理使用している状態です。

全体のフレット消耗が凄いが音詰まりは無いので相談にて保留となりました。

ナットを交換し問題無い状態に調整できました。

ナット・フレットは楽器にとって非常に大事な部分です。
ここに問題があると楽器としてかなり性能ダウンする箇所となりますので消耗を感じたら早い段階で直す事をお勧めします。

This is a nut replacement for an old Japanese vintage, JV serial Stratocaster made by Squier.

The nut is worn out and the open strings are jammed, forcing the guitar to be used in forward warp.

FenderMexico ストラトキャスターナット溝切り調整＆セットアップ

フェンダーメキシコ製ストラトキャスターのナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

メキシコ製で販売されている新品ネックに交換した物になります。

ネック単体で販売されている物は基本的に「手直し前提」の物になります。

ネックを交換しただけの状態ですのでナットの高さが高く弾き難い、またお客様が溝切りして失敗している箇所がありますがまだナットの高さがあるので溝切りで対応し弾き易くしました。

ワーモス等のコンポーネントブランドも同等ですが、基本的にネックを入れ替えて完了ではございませんので気を付けましょう。

Joe Guitar製ストラトキャスターのフレットすり合わせです。

全体的なかなりの消耗です。サドルは錆が酷くGOTOH製へ交換しました。

フレットをすり合わせ各所の問題を解決しました。

音がタイトで日本製みたいな音で、作りもSuhrっぽい作りに見えます。

弾き込まれた楽器は音が良くなる傾向なので大事に長く使用する事は大事な事ですがリペアしないといけない消耗が出てきます。
これらを放置すると状態が悪いまま弾く事になれて正しい状態の物を弾きこなせない自分のトラブルが出てきます。
よくある「左手の押さえる力が強い」等がその典型例です。
弾き易ければ余計な力を発生しないので、演奏も効率化されます。

This is a Joe Guitar Stratocaster fret grinder.

The overall wear is quite severe. The saddle was replaced with a GOTOH one due to severe rust.

The frets have been fretted and all the problems have been fixed.

The sound is tight and sounds like it was made in Japan, and the construction appears to be Suhr-like.

A typical example of this is “the left hand is pressed too hard.
If it is easy to play, you will not generate unnecessary force and your playing will be more efficient.

Creation ストラトキャスター配線直し

クリエーション製ストラトキャスターの配線直しです。

お客様の配線ミスで音が出ない状態です。

配線ミスしている箇所を直す事で音が出る状態になりました。

私もお勧めしているワイドレンジハムバッカーに交換されている状態で、仕上げた後の音としても良いサウンド傾向です。

皆様へも知ってほしい情報として「良い物が人気」ではありません。
むしろ私から見て「ダメな物程に人気」に見えています。

ワイドレンジハムバッカーはかなり良くできたPUなので、これが通常ラインに増えていかない事が非常に謎です。

分かり易く「良い物を教えてしまうと他が売れなくなるから」だと思いますが、通常ラインで満足していては勿体無いと思います。
現行ストラトやテレキャスターにもワイドレンジハムバッカーが付いたモデルが今後増えてほしいですね。

This is a rewiring of a Caparison Stratocaster.

The sound was not coming out due to a wiring error by the customer.

By fixing the wiring error, the sound was restored.

I recommend wide range humbuckers for this guitar, and the sound is very good.

As information that I want you to know, “good is not popular”.
Rather, from my point of view, the “bad ones are more popular than the good ones.

Wide-range humbuckers are quite good PUs, so it is a great mystery why they are not increasing in the regular lineup.

I think it is because “if you tell people what is good, other things will not sell”, but I think it is a waste to be satisfied with the regular line.
I hope there will be more models with wide range humbuckers on current Stratos and Telecasters in the future.
