  • ヤマハ製SB500のセットアップです。

    大きく順反りし弾き難い状態です。

    またトラスロッドのナットがナメており、回すのが危険な状態です。
    この頃のトラスロッドはエンド側にギブソンの様なナットが付いたパイプレンチ等で回すモデルとなります。
    前オーナーの扱いが酷かった様子で、ナットの角が丸まって殆どレンチが噛みません。

    ダメ元でしたが何とか外す事ができ、ナットの再利用は不可なので合うナットで代用した。

    消耗で音がビビる箇所がありますがある程度は弾けるレベルには調整のみで行えました。
    フレットすり合わせした方が良いレベルですが、この年代製は状態が悪くても当然と言えるので購入時は本体価格＋リペア料金が掛かると思って購入した方が良いです。

    This is a Yamaha SB500 setup.

    It is hard to play as it has a large forward bow.

    The truss rod nut is in a bad shape and it is dangerous to turn.
    The truss rod at this time is a model that is turned with a pipe wrench with a Gibson-like nut on the end side.
    The previous owner had treated the truss rod so badly that the nut’s corner was so rounded that the wrench would hardly bite.

    The nut was not reusable, so we substituted a matching nut.

    The sound was a little shaky due to wear and tear, but I was able to get it to a level where I could play it to some extent with just a few adjustments.
    It would be better to grind the frets together, but it is not surprising for a guitar of this age to be in poor condition, so you should expect to pay the price of the instrument plus repair fees.

  • Futra MS800 カスタムオーダー セットアップ

  • フュートラ製のカスタムオーダーMS800のセットアップです。

    完成し届いた際に初期不具合で一度は国内工場に送って修理されたとの事で、状態チェックも含め持ち込まれました。

    一応は不具合を修正してもらったとの事ですがセレクター操作時に音切れがあったりする事、内部配線を触ったりすると音が出なくなる事を確認しました。
    配線にもミスあり、センターでフェイズアウト状態になるので配線ミスとハンダ付けが良くないのか上記の動作不良が起こったりする様子です。

    他にもブリッジのチューニングが不安定で、アームを使用しダウン／アップ時が実質使用不可（かなりチューニングが狂う、元の位置に戻らない）ので、セットアップのみの作業でアーム使用の際は使用が難しい状態と思います。

    調整で殆どトラスロッド限界に近くなりました。

    激安でオーダーできるギターですので価格を考えたら品質はそこまで求めてはいけないとは思いますが、ベトナム製との事でIVYやアジャイルと同じ感覚で買うメーカーかと思います。

    This is a setup of a custom-ordered MS800 made by Futura.

    The unit had been sent to a domestic factory for repair due to initial problems when it was completed and received, and was brought in for condition check.

    We confirmed that the problem had been corrected, but that there was a sound cutoff when operating the selector, and that the sound would not come out if the internal wiring was touched.
    There is also a mistake in the wiring, and the sound phases out at the center, which may be caused by a wiring error and poor soldering.

    The tuning of the bridge is unstable, and it is practically unusable when the arm is used for down/up tuning (it is out of tune and does not return to the original position).

    It is almost at the truss rod limit with adjustment.

    I know I shouldn’t expect such high quality considering the price since I can order the guitar at a very low price, but it is made in Vietnam, so I think it is a manufacturer I would buy with the same feeling as IVY or Agile.

    フジゲン製EOSのPU交換・セットアップです。

    ローラー製64に交換です。

    巻き弦が明るすぎないサウンドです。
    フジゲン等のモダン系ギターは音が明るく硬い傾向になる為、ヴィンテージ系PUを使用する事で音の硬さを緩和させたりする事ができます。

    バランスが良いが粘りが薄く、この辺りは乗ってるEOSに影響かと思います。
    モダン系のサウンド影響を受けていると思うのでもう少し明るさと硬さが落ち着いたらもっと良かったかもしれません。
    メイプル指板のギターよりもローズ指板の方が音として合うかもしれません。

    PU replacement and setup for Fujigen EOS.

    Replaced with a Roller 64.

    The sound of wound strings is not too bright.
    Modern guitars such as Fujigen have a tendency to sound bright and hard, so using a vintage PU can alleviate the hardness of the sound.

    The sound is well-balanced but not sticky, which may be influenced by the EOS on the guitar.
    I think it is influenced by modern sound, so it would have been better if it was a little brighter and less hard.
    I think it would sound better with a rose fretboard than with a maple fretboard.

  • ムーア製GTRS S800のセットアップです。

    最初からトラスロッドに余裕が殆ど無い状態です。順反りも大きくかなり弾き難い状態です。
    恐らく状態が悪いから手放した個体と思われます。

    調整でトラスロッド限界、それでも順反りが大きく弾き易くするには無理な状態です。
    弦を張りっぱなしにする等していればこの様な状態になります。

    順反りで音が詰まる箇所は出てきますが一応は弾けるレベルの弦高で仕上げる事はできました。

    こちらの個体はエフェクター内蔵されており、Bluetoothでワイヤレスで音を出す事が可能です。
    既にケーブルを必要としないギターが世の中に出ております。

    マルチエフェクター的な音を内蔵し、スマホアプリで音色をコントロールできるので次世代的です。

    しかも低価格という、ただ本体の状態はあまり良いとは言えないので中古品で購入する際は気を付けましょう。
    もしくは部品取りして他メーカーのストラトキャスターに中身を組んでも面白いかもしれません。

    This is a Moore GTRS S800 setup.

    There is almost no room in the truss rod from the beginning. The forward warp is also very large and it is very hard to play.
    It seems that this guitar was given away because of its poor condition.

    The truss rod has been adjusted to the limit, but even so, it is impossible to make it easy to play because of the large forward warp.
    If the strings are kept taut, it will be in this condition.

    The strings are not at the limit of the truss rod, but still too warped to make it easy to play.

    This guitar has a built-in effector and can produce sound wirelessly via Bluetooth.
    There are already guitars out there that do not require cables.

    This is the next generation, as it has a built-in multi-effector-like sound, and the tone can be controlled via a smartphone app.

    The only problem is that the condition of the guitar itself is not very good, so be careful when you buy a used one.
    Or it might be interesting to take the parts and build the contents into a Stratocaster of another maker.

  • グレッチ製テネシーローズのセットアップです。

    1弦だけ弦高が高く弾くのに少し違和感がある状態です。

    指板の精度等で各弦の弦高が違う事はよくあるので、各弦が調整できないブリッジを使用しているギターはサドルを削って弦高を修正する必要が出てきます。

    調整でトラスロッド限界、現在は弾く分には問題無いですが弦を緩めて保管していないとこの状態で順反りしてしまうと直せなくなります。

    This is a Gretsch Tennessee Rose setup.

    Only one string height is high and it is a little uncomfortable to play.

    It is common for the string height of each string to be different due to the accuracy of the fretboard, etc. If your guitar has a bridge that cannot be adjusted for each string, you will need to shave the saddle to correct the string height.

    The truss rod limit by adjustment, now there is no problem for playing, but if the strings are not kept loose, it will not be able to be fixed if it warps forward in this condition.

  • ヘフナー製ヴァイオリンベースのセットアップです。

    順反りし弾き難い状態でオクターブがかなりズレており音としても良くありません。

    このタイプのブリッジはサドルがフレットの様な物で、溝に入れて仕上げるブリッジになります。
    4つの溝のどこかにサドルを差し込んで使用しますのでザックリとしたオクターブ調整となります。

    調整する事で弾き易く音程感も良くなりました。

    This is a Hefner violin bass setup.

    It is in a forward warped and difficult to play, and the octave is quite off, which is not good for the sound.

  • フェンダーUSA製70年代プレシジョンベースのPU本体修理・配線直し・ジョイントビス穴修正・セットアップです。

    リアPUが本体のハンダ箇所でコイル断線しており音が出ません。
    ダメ元で切れたコイルを解いてみた所、上手く解けてくれたので繋げ直し、音が出る様になりました。

    PUも正直消耗品です。非常に細いコイルでPUは作られるので衝撃等で切れる事もあるので、古い年代製は当然ながら壊れている事も珍しくありません。

    ジャックが接触不良で音が途切れるので新品に交換しました。

    ネックジョイントビス穴2箇所がガバガバだったので修正しました。

    ややハイ起き気味ですが音詰まりは無く（弦高を低めは無理）使用には問題無さそうです。

    音が良く個体としては良さげです。

    This is a Fender USA 70’s Precision bass with PU body repair, rewiring, joint screw hole correction and setup.

    The rear PU had a coil disconnection at the solder point on the body, and no sound was coming out.
    I tried to unravel the broken coil and it unraveled well, so I reconnected it and the sound came out.

    To be honest, the PU is also a consumable item. Since PUs are made with very thin coils, they can be broken by shocks, etc. It is not unusual for old PUs to be broken.

    The jack has been replaced with a new one due to poor contact and loss of sound.

    The two screw holes in the neck joint were loose, so they have been fixed.

    The sound is a little high, but it is not clogged (it is impossible to lower the string height) and it looks fine for use.

    The sound is good and it looks good as an individual.

  • サドウスキー製RV4のセットアップです。

    ブリッジの位置がエンド側に寄り過ぎ？で付いているのか、オクターブ位置がかなりネック寄りになる状態です。

    ビスからサドルが外れてしまう場合は長いビスに交換して付ける事も可能ですが同時にスプリングの長さも増やす必要があります。

    調整後は音も良く弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

    こちらの年式は不明ですが、昔のサドウスキーでしたら現行品と違い荒がある事があったりしますが現行品でしたら珍しいです。

    This is a Sadowski RV4 setup.

    The bridge is positioned too close to the end? The octave position of the bridge is too close to the neck.

    If the saddle is coming off the screw, it is possible to replace the screw with a longer one, but at the same time, the length of the spring needs to be increased.

    After the adjustment, we were able to make it sound good and easy to play.

    We don’t know the year of this instrument, but if it is an old Sadowsky, it may have some roughness, which is different from the current model, but if it is a current model, it is rare.

  • フェンダーカスタムショップ製ストラトキャスターのセットアップです。

    順反りして弦高が高い状態です。

    「高額な物・有名なメーカーは作りが良くて状態がずっと良い状態のまま」と思っている人が多いそうですが、値段やメーカーに関係無く状態は基本変化します。

    調整しないと弾き難く音にも良くない状態となりますので定期的に調整は必須になります。
    弾いてて違和感を感じてきたら調整を行いましょう。

    スターリン製ジョンペトルーシモデル、JP150のブリッジスタッド修正・セットアップです。

    新品購入品との事ですがブリッジのブッシュが簡単に抜ける状態です。
    ブッシュ穴内に塗装が残っているので、製造時にブッシュよりも大きめの穴が空いている？と思われます。
    かなりスカスカで、両方とも手で簡単に抜く事ができる状態です。

    またトラスロッドが最初から余裕が全く無く、調整でトラスロッド限界状態となりました。
    ブリッジの事もありこの状態なら通常なら返品です。
    新品購入時から時間が経っている事もあり、知らないと本当に損すると思います。

    こちらのモデルも30万円近いと思いますが値段を考えたらこの状態だと酷過ぎるので、近年の新品楽器はどんどんお勧めできなくなってきています。

    This is a bridge stud correction and setup for a Stalin John Petrucci model, JP150.

    The bridge bushings are easily pulled out, although they were purchased new.
    There is still paint in the bushing hole, so it is likely that the hole was larger than the bushing when it was manufactured. It is thought to be a larger hole than the bushing at the time of manufacture.
    Both bushings are quite loose and can be easily pulled out by hand.

    The truss rod has no room at all from the beginning, and the truss rod is at the limit after adjustment.
    The bridge is also in this condition and would normally be returned.
    The bridge is in a state where the truss rod is at the limit of its capacity.

    I think this model is also close to 300,000 yen, but considering the price, this condition is too much, so I can no longer recommend new instruments in recent years.
