  • ATELIER Z PB-5 CUSTOM SWG Matching Head ナット交換

  • アトリエZ製PB-5のナット交換です。

    消耗で音詰まりする状態です。

    ナットは消耗品ですので定期的に交換が必要になってきます。

    ナット溝高の考え方は単純で、溝高が高いと長持ちしますが弾き難く音程感が悪くなります。
    それはナットからフレットへの距離が長くなってしまい、押さえた時点でチョーキングの様な状態になってしまうからです。
    ナット高が低いと押さえ易くなり弾き易くなりますが消耗による寿命が短い結果になります。

    この辺りはメーカーの考え方次第です。
    高さの考えは非常に弾く人の好みもあり、特に手や指に近い1・2弦等は一番気になる高さになってくると思います。
    消耗する事も考えある程度の高さを残し全て同じ位の高さにするか太い弦に向かって高くする様にするかハイエンド系の様に全ての弦をベタベタ（音は良いが寿命が短い）にするか。
    この辺りが各メーカーバラバラですので弾き心地も変わってきます。

    ナット交換し問題が無い状態に仕上げる事ができました。

    This is a nut replacement for a PB-5 made by Atelier Z.

    The sound is clogged due to wear and tear.

    The nut is a consumable item and needs to be replaced periodically.

    The concept of nut groove height is simple: the higher the groove height, the longer the nut will last, but the harder it will be to play and the pitch will be worse.
    The reason is that the distance from the nut to the frets becomes longer, and when you press down on the fretboard, it becomes like chalking.
    If the nut height is low, it is easier to press down and easier to play, but the life of the instrument will be shorter due to wear and tear.
    This is up to the manufacturer.

    We were able to replace the nut and finish it up with no problems.

  • HISTORY GH-BJ4 ポット交換＆セットアップ タイムレスティンバー

  • ヒストリー製GH-BJ4のポット交換・セットアップです。

    タイムレスティンバーモデルです。
    この頃だけ、ヒストリー製で使われるタイムレスティンバーのモデルは音が良い事が多いです。
    音が良く立ち上がりが良い上、材の色も通常のメイプルより濃いので追加効果はあるかと思います。

    ボリュームガリで交換しました。アクティブ回路がポットに付いてるモデルで、基盤からポットを分離して新しいポットへ交換しました。
    同じ様なポットだとアンプ用などを使用しないと合わないので、そうしたポットはこちらで用意していないので通常ポットに配線で引き回しました。

    ヒストリー製はコストパフォーマンスが良く、中古価格も安めなのでお勧めです。

    This is a pot replacement and setup for a History GH-BJ4.

    This is a timeless timber model.
    Only in these days, the timeless timber models used by History often have a good sound.
    In addition to the good sound and rise, the color of the wood is darker than normal maple, so I think there is an additional effect.

    I replaced it with a volume skinny. The model has an active circuit attached to the pot, so I separated the pot from the base and replaced it with a new pot.
    I had to use a similar pot for the amp, so I wired it to a regular pot since we do not have such pots.

    I recommend History because of their good cost performance and low used prices.

  • オームスビー製エリート2のナット溝切り調整・ジャック交換・セットアップです。

    オームスビーの低価格帯？でしょうか、新品にしては各所が甘く弾き難い状態です。

    付いてる電装は安物だったので低価格帯の位置付けモデルだと思いますが珍しいメーカーとモデルだけに詳しい情報は不明です。
    ジャックに不具合との事で新品に交換しました。

    ナット高が雑で高さがバラバラで弾き難い状態です。
    低価格帯はどうしてもナット・フレット等の難しく手間が掛かるポイントの仕上げが良くありません。
    ここを買ったら直すは基本中の基本です。
    新品で購入時はナット溝切り調整とフレットすり合わせを行いましょう。
    それだけで非常に良くなります。基本はメーカーの製造精度はそこまで高くありません。

    Ormsby Elite 2 nut groove adjustment, jack replacement and setup.

    This is an Ormsby Elite 2. It is hard to play because of the sweetness of the parts for a new model.

    The electrics on it were cheap, so I think it is a low-priced model, but I don’t have detailed information about it because it is a rare make and model.
    The jack was replaced with a new one due to a problem with the jack.

    The nut height is not correct, and it is hard to play.
    The low-priced models are not well finished at difficult and time-consuming points such as the nut and frets.
    It is a basic rule of thumb to fix this if you buy a new one.
    When you buy a new one, adjust the nut groove cut and fret fret adjustment.
    This alone will improve the quality of the instrument. The basic rule is that the manufacturer’s manufacturing accuracy is not that high.

  • Squier by Fender スクワイヤー エレキベース Paranormal Rascal Bass HH　配線直し＆セットアップ

  • スクワイヤー製ラスカルの配線直し・セットアップです。

    かなり珍しいワイドレンジハムバッカー搭載ベースになります。

    音が太く良い低音が鳴りますがノーマル時はもっさり感が強いサウンドです。

    音を良くする為に電装を全て交換する内容になりました。

    PUは良い物が付いていますが低価格帯ですのでコントロール系は安物パーツです。
    これらを交換するだけでも音質UPが見込めます。

    フロントは深い柔らかさあるアコースティックサウンドになり、リアは太さもあり音の輪郭もあるバランスが良い音になりました。

    このモデルは非常に良く、低価格帯で買った方が良いレベルのモデルです。

    とても低価格に思えない音と弾き易さなので、これは誰に紹介しても文句は言われないでしょう。

    This is a Squier Rascal rewired and setup.

    This bass guitar is equipped with a wide-range humbucker, which is quite rare.

    The sound is fat and has a nice bass sound, but the sound is very slow when it is normal.

    All electrical components have been replaced to improve the sound.

    The PU is a good one, but the controls are cheap parts since it is in the low price range.
    Just by replacing these parts, the sound quality can be expected to improve.

    The front end now has a deep, soft acoustic sound, and the rear end has a fat, well-proportioned sound.

    This model is very good and is at a level where it is better to buy at the lower price point.

    The sound and playability does not seem very low priced, so I will not complain to anyone I introduce this to.

  • シーガル製S6のナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

    大きく順反りしナット高が高い弦がありかなり弾き難い状態です。

    ナット溝切り調整を行いセットアップする事でかなり弾き易くなりました。

    また調整でトラスロッド限界状態となりました。

    低価格帯で音が良いアコギとして有名なメーカーですが状態が悪いと弾き難くなるのは変わりませんので、湿度管理を徹底したり弦を緩めて保管する等が必要です。

    This is a nut groove adjustment and setup for a Seagull S6.

    The strings have a large forward bow and the nut height is high, making it very difficult to play.

    ギブソン製レスポールのネック折れリペアです。

    どうしても角度付きネックは折れ易いので気を付けて使用する他、折れてしまったら割れ口が変形する前に直す事が重要です。
    割れ方さえ問題無ければ基本は接着で直す事が可能です。

    接着後は問題無く弾ける状態に修正ができました。

    音は出るがトグルスイッチの動きがおかしいので、不具合が出てくる様ならトグルスイッチは交換が必要です。

    This is a neck break repair for a Gibson Les Paul.

    Angled necks are prone to breakage, so it is important to use them with care and, if they break, to repair them before the cracks become deformed.
    As long as the breakage is OK, it can basically be repaired by gluing.

    After gluing, the neck can be played without any problem.

    The toggle switch is not working properly, so if the problem persists, the toggle switch will need to be replaced.

  • サドウスキー製メトロラインエクスプレス JJ のセットアップです。

    新品購入後に殆ど弾かれていない様子です。
    メトロラインエクスプレスは低価格帯でありながら品質も高く、正直メトロラインシリーズと大きな差を感じません。

    音がタイトですが新品の様な縮込む感がある為、これから弾き込んでいけば音が良くなっていきそうです。

    サドウスキー製品はベーシストの人気メーカーですが、その理由の通り弾き易く音質も良いので現代音楽にはお勧めです。

    This is a Sadowski Metroline Express JJ setup.

    It looks like it has hardly been played since it was purchased new.
    The Metroline Express is in the lower price range, but the quality is high, and honestly, I don’t feel a big difference between it and the Metroline series.

    The sound is tight, but it has the feel of being shrunk in like a new instrument, so the sound is likely to improve as it is played more and more.

    Sadowsky products are popular among bassists, and for good reason: they are easy to play and have good sound quality, so I recommend them for contemporary music.

  • フェンダーUSA製70年代ミュージックマスターのセットアップです。

    大きく順反りで弦高が高い状態、調整でトラスロッド限界となりました。

    ヴィンテージ楽器は基本的に状態が悪いです。
    調整で何とか使える物からまともに使用できない物も多くあります。

    購入時に正しく楽器状態を見れる人じゃないと購入はお勧めできません。
    また販売側も知識が無かったり状態が悪い事を隠して売る事も多いのでヴィンテージ楽器は騙される事も多くなるでしょう。
    楽器として使用するなら状態が良い物を選ぶか現行品、ヴィンテージ楽器は資産価値程度で考えて買う物だと思います。

    音が太くGibson系な音がする個体で、必要な帯域しか鳴っていない感じがとても良いベースです。

    This is a Fender USA 70’s Music Master setup.

    Large forward bow and high string height, truss rod limit with adjustment.

    Vintage instruments are generally in poor condition.
    There are many instruments that can be used with some adjustment, and many that cannot be used properly.

    I don’t recommend you to buy it unless you can see the condition of the instrument correctly at the time of purchase.
    Also, sellers often hide the fact that the instruments are in bad condition and sell them without knowledge.
    If you want to use it as a musical instrument, you should choose one in good condition or buy a current one, and a vintage instrument should be considered as an asset.

    This bass has a fat Gibson type sound and only the necessary bandwidth is heard.

  • レイクランド製ショアラインのセットアップです。

    新品購入との事ですが弾き難い状態です。

    調整してみるとトラスロッドに余裕少ない（残り1割程度）状態です。
    新品で高額なモデルでもネックが柔らかいといきなり後先の余裕が無い事となるので要注意です。

    音は良く、特にリアのハムが良いサウンドです。

    新品でもトラスロッドの余り量等を確認して購入しないと結構痛手になります。
    基本的にトラスロッドの余り量を提示していないお店から買わない事、聞いて答えられない所からは買わない事をお勧めします。

    This is a Lakeland Shoreline setup.

    It was purchased new but is in a hard to play condition.

    The truss rod has a little room to spare (about 10% remaining).
    Even if it is a new and expensive model, if the neck is soft, there will suddenly be no room for the truss rod.

    The sound is good, especially the rear hum.

    Even if it is a new model, check the amount of truss rod left, etc. before you buy it or you will be in a lot of pain.
    Basically, I recommend that you don’t buy from a store that doesn’t give you the amount of truss rod left over, and don’t buy from a place that can’t answer your question.

  • アイバニーズ製QX527PBの配線直し・セットアップです。

    トラスロッドに余裕が殆ど無い状態で弾き難い状態、調整でトラスロッド限界になりましたがそれでもやや順反り状態です。

    配線が非常に雑でセレクターの配線が間違っている＋セレクターが壊れ掛けている状態です。
    素人いじりされている状態で恐らく前オーナーが直せず手放した物と思われます。

    このモデルはボディが薄い為、背の低いセレクターじゃないと付かないボディ厚です。
    主に安物セレクターしか付きません。

    また他にもコンデンサの数値が間違っておりトーンが全然効かないのを交換しトーンが効く様になりました。

    中古品の購入は正直こうした事が多いので、基本的に見えない所は難があると思ってた方が良いです。

    This is an Ibanez QX527PB rewired and setup.

    The truss rod was adjusted to the limit of the truss rod, but it is still slightly bowed.

    The wiring is very messy and the selector is wired incorrectly + the selector is almost broken.
    It is believed to have been tinkered with by an amateur and probably given away by the previous owner who was unable to fix it.

    The body of this model is so thin that only a short selector can be attached to it.
    Only cheap selectors can be attached to this model.

    The capacitor was not working properly, but I replaced it and now the tone works.

    I have to admit that this is what happens when you buy used equipment, so basically you should assume that there is something wrong with the parts that you can’t see.
