ギブソン製レスポールのナット溝切り・セットアップです。

ナット高が弦によりかなりバラツキがあり弾き難い状態です。

ただこうした事はフェンダー・ギブソンでも非常に多いので気になる人は直した方が良い箇所です。
値段が高い物でもナット溝切り状態が悪い事やフレット仕上げが悪い事は普通にあります。

溝切りを行い弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。
また音が良い個体です。

Ibanez Q547 ナット溝切り調整＆セットアップローステッドメイプル

アイバニーズ製Q547のナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

新品ですがナット高が高くかなり弾き難い状態です。

ナット溝を削り適切な高さにする事で弾き易くなりました。

また最初から殆どトラスロッドに余裕が無い状態で実質限界状態で売られていました（45°位しか回せなかった）。
「ローステッドメイプルだから反らない」というオカルトを信じている人も多いのですが、この様に普通に反ります。
調整でトラスロッドが限界状態となりました。

こうした物も平気で売られている事も多いので珍しい話ではありませんが、この辺りを公表せず平気で売っている事実は知っておいた方が良いです。
近年の木材は柔らかく、弦を張ると大きく順反りするのでまずその調整にトラスロッドが多く回されます。
そうした強度が無いネックは弦張力に負けて順反りするので、それを直すと新品で既にトラスロッドに余裕が無い状態で販売される簡単な話です。

この状態で販売されている訳ですから、当然弦を張りっぱなしにしていたらどうなるか？簡単に分かると思います。
多くのネット情報で「弦は張りっぱなしでも良い」と言われているのは買った人に「自分の責任で楽器をダメにさせて買い替えさせたいから」です。
まず簡単にまともな楽器屋・リペアマンか判断できる方法として「弦を張りっぱなしで良い」という所は避けましょう。

バッカスジャズベースのナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

ナット高が高く弾き難い状態です。

ナット高が高いとどうしても弾き難くなる事や、低価格帯から高価格帯でもあまり丁寧に仕上げてある事が少ない部分です。
ここが良くなる事でも全体の弾き易さから音も良く変化します。

調整してみた所、音が良いモデルです。

低価格帯だからダメだと思わず、基本的な所をしっかりと仕上げるだけでも見違える様に良くなります。
この辺りの意識が無いと「安物＝ダメな物」から脱却できません。
意外と近年は低価格帯モデルも良く出来ているので、料金的に仕上げられない所を直すだけでも数十万円レベルと同様な物に変化する物あるので中々侮れません。

PRS SE Custom24 ナット溝切り調整＆コイルタップ増設＆ダウンチューニングセットアップ

PRS SE製カスタム24のナット溝切り調整・コイルタップ増設です。

太い弦を張ってドロップB仕様へ、ナット溝を広げる為に溝切り調整を行いました。
ダウンチューニングには必須の改造です。

コイルタップを行う為にトーンポットをスイッチポットへ交換して増設しました。
4芯使用PUであればコイルタップを増設するのは簡単なので、ポットをスイッチポットに交換すれば簡単にコイルタップができる様に改造可能です。

ハイゲインでも音がハッキリしてて良い分離感があるサウンドです。
ダウンチューニングは音が太過ぎるサウンド傾向になると分離が悪くなる為、あえて出力を落としたりハイゲインに充分に対応するPUに交換する等の対策が必要です。

This is an essential modification for down tuning.

The tone pot was replaced with a switch pot to add coil taps.
If it is a 4-core PU, it is easy to add a coil tap, so it can be easily modified to enable coil tapping by replacing the pot with a switch pot.

Even at high gain, the sound is clear and has a good separation.
Down-tuning tends to make the sound too fat, and the separation becomes worse, so it is necessary to take measures such as reducing the output or replacing it with a PU that can handle high gain well enough.

ワーモス５弦ベースフレットすり合わせ＆ナット溝切り調整

ワーモス製5弦ベースのフレットすり合わせ・ナット溝切り調整です。

少し前に組み込んだ物ですがその際はお客様の予算都合ですり合わせやナット等は仕上げていない状態です。
コンポーネントブランドのネックは基本的にリペア必須の状態です。
ナット溝切り調整・フレットすり合わせは最低限やらないと元から音が詰まる箇所やビビりが出る所が出るのが普通です。

音詰まりが気になるとの事で持ち込み、またネックのウネリ等が大きく状態が悪いです。
近年は木材の強度低下が顕著になっており、長持ちしない傾向になっています。

特に近年のメイプルネックは強度が低いので要注意です。
フレットを削って真っ直ぐにしてみて確認すると、トラスロッドの効きも変です。
強度にバラツキがあってウネる様に反りが動くのか、仕込み精度が悪いのか判断できませんが新しい物があまり良くないのはワーモスも例外では無くなってきました。

新たにコンポーネントブランドで良いブランドが見つかれば発信しますが、ワーモスで製作も円安の影響で安いとも言えなくなってきたので他に良いコンポーネントブランドを見つけないといけませんね。

If you check by shaving the frets and straightening the neck, you will find that the truss rod is not working properly.
It is hard to judge if the strength of the neck is uneven, and the warp moves like a whip, or if the accuracy of the workmanship is poor.

If we find a new component brand that is good, we will send out a message, but we need to find another good component brand because the low yen is no longer making it cheap to produce with Wormos.

アイバニーズ製PC14MHCHのナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

ナット高が高過ぎてまともに弾くには厳しい状態です。
それに加えてネック順反りで弦高が高いので、こうしたアコギはまず弾く気になれる状態では無く初心者にはFコードを挫折させる様なギターになります。

ナット溝切り調整を行い、セットアップすると音が良く弾き易い状態になりました。

低価格帯のアコギには定番の修理内容ですのでこの事を知識として覚えておいた方が良いです。
音が良いけど弾き難い場合はこうした内容で簡単に直せます。

またトラスロッドの余り量等は定番情報として、低価格帯アコギも音が良いけど弾き難い物が多い印象があります。
むしろこれは異常ではなく、価格を考えたらしょうがないと思います。
アコギを購入したら最低でもナット溝切り調整だけは行うと良いでしょう。
大体はナット高が高めです。

Emotion ストラトキャスターナット溝切り調整＆フレットすり合わせ＆ポット交換 VANZANDT VINTAGE PLUS

エモーション製ストラトキャスターのナット溝切り調整・フレットすり合わせ・ポット交換です。

音詰まり箇所があり状態悪いです。弾き込まれていればどうしてもフレットはすり減りますので修理が必要になってきます。

ヴァンザント製ヴィンテージプラスに交換、ボリュームにガリで交換しました。

お客様の方で3弦6弦が引っ込められてて、バランスが良いサウンドになっています。

シングルコイルは未だに弦の音量バランスが悪く、メーカーも素人だったりするのでその異常に気が付かず昔の仕様のまま今に至っている物もかなり多いです。

この弦の音量バランスは非常に重要で、特にギターはコードで鳴らす事が多いのでその弦の音量が合っていないとすれば音が大きい弦が強調され音が小さい弦が聞こえ難くなりミュート気味・鳴りが甘い様な音になるので結果としてコードが綺麗に鳴らなくなります。

PUを交換して音を良くする考えよりも、ポールピースの高さを直した方が音を良くする意味では効果が上だと思います。

状態も良くなり音も良くなったのでギターとして良いモデルに生まれ変わったと思います。

The volume balance of the strings is very important, especially since guitars are often played on chords. If the volume of the strings is not correct, the loud strings will be emphasized and the quiet strings will be hard to hear, resulting in a muted or sweet sound, and the chords will not sound beautiful.

In my opinion, fixing the height of the pole piece is more effective in terms of improving the sound than replacing the PU to improve the sound.

I think it has been reborn as a good model as a guitar since it is in better condition and sounds better.

FenderJAPAN ストラトキャスターフレットすり合わせ＆ナット溝切り調整＆ポット交換

フェンダージャパン製ストラトキャスターのフレットすり合わせ・ナット溝切り調整・ポット交換です。

Vo不良で音が安定して出ない状態、フレット消耗で音詰まり、11-48弦を張っててナット溝に弦が合わずナット高が高い状態です。

またアームバーのビス山が痛んでいるのか非常に動きが硬い状態、ビス山が壊れて破片が挟まっていた様子です。

ストラトはボリュームを可変させて使用する事も多いと思うので消耗し易い所です。新品に交換し解決しました。

ナットは大体1～2ゲージが入る様に切っている場合もあれば張った弦に合わせてキチキチに切る場合とメーカーの匙加減が異なります。
ギターの場合10-46か09-42と幅広くゲージが使われる事が多いので、私は09を張る場合でも後から10に変更しても問題が無い様に46が入る様に溝を切っていた方が良いと考えます。それ以上のゲージは意図して使う事が多いので変更等は考えず張った弦に合わせて切ります。

フレットをすり合わせ、弦に合わせて溝を切りまともに使用できる状態に修正しました。

The arm bar is easily worn out because strats are often used with variable volume. We replaced it with a new one and solved the problem.

The nut may be cut to fit 1 or 2 gauge strings, or it may be cut too tight to fit the strings you have put on it.
In the case of guitars, I also think that it is better to cut a groove so that 46 can fit even if you put on 09 so that there will be no problem if you change to 10 later. Gauges higher than this are often used as intended, so we cut the grooves to match the strings that have been strung without thinking about any changes.

The frets have been grated and the grooves have been cut to match the strings, and the fretboard is now ready for proper use.

フェンダージャパン、Fシリアルのストラトキャスターのナット溝切り調整・フレットすり合わせ・ポット交換です。

ボリュームにガリ、フレットの消耗、ナット高が高い所がある状態です。
当時でも低価格帯になりますので細かい点は完璧ではありません。
現行品のフェンダー製品でも高額なモデルでもナットの高さが各弦で異常に上下がある物も多くあります。

パーツを交換しフレットをすり合わせ、ナット溝を仕上げる事で弾き易く問題が無い状態に仕上がりました。

またトラスロッドの余り量が多く、ネック強度が高いです。
昔は「良い木材があった」と分かる状態ですね。長い年月を生きてきてこの消耗状態で判断するなら木材が良い証拠です。
この年代ですらヴィンテージ扱いされて非常に高価になっている事は疑問なのですが、現代と比べて明らかに木材の質が違うのは確かです。

昔は低価格帯でも今で比較する所で30～40万円クラスの木材が数万円で使用されていた時代です。
なので当時のフェンダージャパン製はコストパフォーマンスが良く、別に昔の物でなくても2000年代中期辺りまでの物でも非常に良い物が多いです。

はっきり言えばこの年代を考えれば「数万円で良い楽器は普通にあった」となります。
と言っても昔からビジネス洗脳は強いので誰も特別な見向きはしなかった事でしょう。
今の高額な現行モデルよりも当時のフェンダージャパン製の方が音が良い場合が多いです。

Therefore, Fender Japan-made guitars of that time had good cost performance, and even if they were not made in the old days, there were many very good ones until around the mid-2000s.

To put it bluntly, considering this period, “good instruments were usually available for tens of thousands of yen”.
However, business brainwashing has been strong for a long time, so no one would have paid special attention to them.
In many cases, Fender Japan-made instruments back then sounded better than today’s expensive current models.

Kiesel OSIRIS ナット溝切り調整＆セットアップマルチスケールヘッドレスモデル

キーセル製オリシスのナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

お客様がメーカーから直接購入した物との事で、新品で購入したばかりの物です。

状態が目を疑う様な状態なのですがナット高が高過ぎる、恐らくナットを付けただけで全く溝切り加工していない状態です。
ナット高が安物ギターの様にかなり高い状態です。

キーセルはちょっと前にも配線ミス＋断線した状態のまま新品で出荷されている事も見ている為、昔と違い売れてきて品質は下がってきております。
この辺りも新しい情報にアップグレードして下さい。
昔は私も本当に品質が良かったのでYoutubeでも絶賛して動画で紹介しましたが、今の状態を見ると勧められません。
そうした情報もこうして出していますので最新な物に調べて勉強して下さい。

また気になる点としてマルチスケールのギターですがPUは対応している？のか謎な所があります。
フィッシュマンの中身はバータイプのポールピースでしょうか？それなら問題無い？と思いましたが明らか端の弦、特にフロント1弦とリアは1弦7弦の音量が他よりも少し小さいです。

これはマルチスケールにより斜めになっている事でPUも斜めに付いているのですが、PU自体は普通の物（マルチスケールに合わせてPU本体が斜めになっている訳じゃない）です。
これによりポールピースの位置がズレる為、端側の弦はポールピースの音を拾える範囲から遠い事で音が小さくなっている可能性が高いです。

これはオーダーされたからこうなっている？のか詳細不明ですが、クラフトマン目線から見たらこのPUを使用するのは好ましくない（マルチスケールに合わせて斜め加工されたPUを付けないといけない）と思うのですが、これはオーダーした内容が悪いのかメーカーが悪いのか不明です。

ナットを溝切り、調整する事でかなり弾き易くなりました。
PUの件は不明なので何も言えませんが状態としてここに疑問を持たず出荷している所だと今後の購入は考えた方が良いかもしれません。

The customer purchased this item directly from the manufacturer, and it was just purchased new.

The condition of the guitar is unbelievable, the nut height is too high, probably because the nut was just put on and not grooved at all.
The nut height is very high, like a cheap guitar.

The quality of the guitar has been declining since it was sold in the past, as we have seen some new guitars being shipped with wiring errors and broken wires.
Please upgrade this area to new information.
In the past, the quality was really good and I introduced it on Youtube with rave reviews, but I can’t recommend it now.
I am also providing such information here, so please check the latest information and study it.

Also, I am wondering if the PU is compatible with multi-scale guitars? I am not sure if it is compatible with PUs or not.
Is it a bar type pole piece inside the Fishman? If so, is there any problem? I thought so, but obviously the volume of the strings at the ends, especially the front first string and the rear first and seventh strings, is a little lower than the others.

This is because the PU is also at an angle due to the multi-scale, but the PU itself is normal (the PU itself is not at an angle to match the multi-scale).

I am not sure if this is because it was ordered this way or not, but from a craftsman’s point of view, it is undesirable to use this PU (it is necessary to put a PU that is processed diagonally to fit multi-scale), but I am not sure if this is a bad order or the manufacturer’s fault.

By grooving and adjusting the nut, it is much easier to play.
I can’t say anything about the PU because I don’t know about the PU, but if a place ships without questioning this as a condition, you might want to think about purchasing it in the future.
