Gibson レスポールナット溝切り調整＆セットアップ

ギブソン製レスポールのナット溝切り・セットアップです。

ナット高が弦によりかなりバラツキがあり弾き難い状態です。

ただこうした事はフェンダー・ギブソンでも非常に多いので気になる人は直した方が良い箇所です。
値段が高い物でもナット溝切り状態が悪い事やフレット仕上げが悪い事は普通にあります。

溝切りを行い弾き易い状態に仕上げる事ができました。
また音が良い個体です。

YAMAHA TRBX ナット溝埋め・溝切り調整＆セットアップ

ヤマハ製TRBXのナット溝埋め＆切り、セットアップです。

4弦のナット高が最初から低く音詰まりしているので埋めて切り直しました。
大手楽器店の状態が良い中古との事で購入されたそうですが、大きく順反りさせて状態を誤魔化している事に呆れてしまいます。

コロナ中の楽器ブームも過ぎ去り、世間の楽器屋は楽器が売れず困っている様子だそうですが状態が悪い物を誤魔化して売ってる様ではこの機会に潰れてしまった方が世の為になると思います。
本当に良い物を売る、そんな志が無く利益目的だけで存在しているのであれば人に迷惑を掛ける存在になってしまいます。

ナットの不具合は順反りさせ弦高を上げる事で誤魔化す事ができるので、そうした異常を感じる個体は避けたり販売している所に質問していた方が良いです。
弦高が高く弾き難い個体は基本何かしら不具合を隠していると思った方が良いです。

音が良く弾き易い個体になりました。

ヤマハ製は基本低価格でも優秀な個体が多いので非常にお勧めです。

This is a Yamaha TRBX nut groove fill & cut and setup.

The nut height of the 4th string was low from the beginning and the sound was clogged, so we filled and cut it back.
It was purchased from a major music store as a used instrument in good condition, but we were dismayed to see that it was greatly warped in order to deceive the public about its condition.

The musical instrument boom in Corona has passed, and the musical instrument shops in the world are having trouble selling musical instruments, but I think it would be better for the world if they take this opportunity to go out of business if they are selling instruments in bad condition by deception.
If they are only in business for profit and have no aspiration to sell truly good products, they will be a nuisance to others.

It is possible to cover up a defect in the nut by warping it in the forward direction and raising the string height, so it is better to avoid any piece that feels abnormal or to ask questions to the place that sells it.
If the string height is high and hard to play, it is better to think that there is something wrong with the instrument.

The sound is good and easy to play.

I highly recommend Yamaha because they have many excellent pieces at a low price.

SEYMOUR DUNCAN ジャズベースセットアップ

セイモアダンカン製ジャズベースのセットアップです。

大きく順反りし弾き難い状態です。

ベースは張力が強い為、弦を張りっぱなしにしていると順反り状態になり易いです。

またトラスロッドの効きが悪く、調整してみるとトラスロッド限界状態となりました。

特に演奏する上で問題はありませんが、ロッド限界状態ですと将来的に長持ちするかどうか？の問題になってきますので普段から弦を緩めて保管しましょう。

Suhr modern PU交換＆配線変更＆セットアップ Aldrich

Suhr製ModernのPU交換・配線変更・セットアップです。

ArdrichにPU交換です。私もお勧めしておりますがアルドリッチはハイゲインでも歪みが良くモダン系ギターにはお勧めなPUです。

配線をお客様の要望でフロントハム/フロントタップ/両方コイルタップ（外側）/両方コイルタップ（内側）/リアハムに配線しました。
スイッチはお客様の要望で元から付いているスイッチを流用する形となりましたが、やや消耗気味です。
パーツの流用は正直お勧めしません。
消耗品は基本新品状態の方が音が良いので、ガリ等が発生している時点で交換された方が良いです。

ボリュームはガリがあり、こちらのみ要望で新品に交換しました。
予算の都合等もあるかとは思いますが、電装系パーツは組んだ後にトラブルが起こると交換作業を行う事になりますので2重に料金が掛かる結果になります。
未来がどうなるかは私にも分かりませんが、消耗を感じる状態であればこうした改造の機会に全て新品に交換してしまった方が安全です。

PU replacement, rewiring and setup of a Suhr Modern.

This is a PU change to Ardrich. I recommend Ardrich for modern guitars because of its good distortion even at high gain.

Wiring was changed to front hum/front tap/both coil tapped (outside)/both coil tapped (inside)/rear hum at the customer’s request.
The original switch was used at the customer’s request, but it is a little worn out.
We honestly do not recommend using the same parts.
Consumable parts sound better when they are in new condition, so it is better to replace them when they are worn out or worn out.

The volume had a buzzing sound, and we replaced it with a new one only at the request of the customer.
I understand that there may be budget constraints, etc., but if a problem occurs after the electrical parts are assembled, the replacement work will be done, which will result in double charges.
I do not know what will happen in the future, but if you feel wear and tear, it is safer to replace all the parts with new ones on the occasion of such modification.

Ibanez Q547 ナット溝切り調整＆セットアップローステッドメイプル

アイバニーズ製Q547のナット溝切り調整・セットアップです。

新品ですがナット高が高くかなり弾き難い状態です。

ナット溝を削り適切な高さにする事で弾き易くなりました。

また最初から殆どトラスロッドに余裕が無い状態で実質限界状態で売られていました（45°位しか回せなかった）。
「ローステッドメイプルだから反らない」というオカルトを信じている人も多いのですが、この様に普通に反ります。
調整でトラスロッドが限界状態となりました。

こうした物も平気で売られている事も多いので珍しい話ではありませんが、この辺りを公表せず平気で売っている事実は知っておいた方が良いです。
近年の木材は柔らかく、弦を張ると大きく順反りするのでまずその調整にトラスロッドが多く回されます。
そうした強度が無いネックは弦張力に負けて順反りするので、それを直すと新品で既にトラスロッドに余裕が無い状態で販売される簡単な話です。

この状態で販売されている訳ですから、当然弦を張りっぱなしにしていたらどうなるか？簡単に分かると思います。
多くのネット情報で「弦は張りっぱなしでも良い」と言われているのは買った人に「自分の責任で楽器をダメにさせて買い替えさせたいから」です。
まず簡単にまともな楽器屋・リペアマンか判断できる方法として「弦を張りっぱなしで良い」という所は避けましょう。

This is a nut groove adjustment and setup for an Ibanez Q547.

Although new, the nut height is high and it is quite difficult to play.

By cutting the nut groove to the proper height, it became easier to play.

Also, the truss rod was sold with almost no room at all from the beginning (it could only be turned about 45 degrees).
Many people believe in the occult that “roasted maple doesn’t warp,” but it usually does.
The truss rod was at its limit after adjustment.

It is not uncommon to find such items sold without any problem, but you should be aware of the fact that they are sold without any problem without disclosing this.
Recent wood is soft and warps greatly when strings are stretched, so the truss rod is often used to adjust it.
If the neck is not strong enough to handle the tension of the strings, it will warp forward, so it is easy to sell a new neck with no room in the truss rod.

Since the neck is sold in this condition, it is easy to understand what would happen if the strings were left on the neck. It is easy to see.
The reason why so many people on the Internet say that it is OK to leave the strings on is because they want the buyer to ruin the instrument and replace it at his/her own risk.
First of all, as an easy way to judge if the shop is a decent music shop/repairman, avoid places that say “you can leave the strings on”.

Ibanez FR800 セットアップ

アイバニーズ製FR800のセットアップです。

日本未発売モデルとの事です。
近年はこうした日本には販売されていないモデルを逆輸入して使用する人も居られますね。

ベアナックルの様なオリジナルPUが付いており、ハイゲインでなく音の芯が強く分離が良いのでクリーンも歪み等もバランス良くてかなり良いＰＵが標準搭載の様です。

近年は日本市場を考えていない様な話もあり、それだけ日本では利益にならない判断がされている話もあります。

本当に良い物を選んで購入しないと、良いメーカーが離れていってしまいます。

購入者側が正しく買い物ができるか？も重要な要素です。

Squier MUSTANG 配線直し＆セットアップ

スクワイヤー製ムスタングの配線直し・セットアップです。

音が出ない時があるとの事で持ち込まれました。
この機会に電装パーツを全て新品に交換しました。

またお客様持ち込みにてフロントPUをディマジオ製の物に交換しました。

中古品を買う際や電装に変な改造がされていると使用していてトラブルが発生する可能性が出てきます。
中古品を購入時や下手にイジって自信が無い状態であれば全て新品に交換しておく事が無難です。

This is a rewiring and setup of a Squier Mustang.

It was brought in because the sound sometimes did not come out.

クルーズマニアックサウンド製ボトムアップ23のセットアップ・ジャック交換です。

見た目はヴィンテージタイプだと思っていたら音がトレブリーでモダン系寄りなサウンド個体です。

モダン系な音がタイトサウンドなので、歪みを中心としたハッキリと音を聴かせる演奏向きな個体です。

カッチリとしている音クリアサウンドですので、見た目と音はかなりギャップがあります。

Black Smoker TRAD MASTER SERIES SIGMA SSH ストラトキャスターセットアップ

ブラックスモーカー製トラッドマスターのセットアップです。

状態を確認すると1弦3フレットに音詰まりがありました（4フレットが浮いて高い状態）。

フレット自体は詳しくは私の過去動画（フレット交換に関する動画）やブログ記事を参考にしてほしいですが、多くのリペアショップでも変な知識がある様子です。
フレットはどんなに綺麗に打っても所詮は素材が安定しているとは言えない木材に打ち込むので、縮小や膨張により変形でフレット浮きを防止するのは難しいと思います。

しかし対策として接着剤を流し込む等の一手間を加えれば長期間の使用でも変化は何もしていない物より小さくできるはずです。
ただしこれら手間暇も通常の生産ラインには難しい（手間が掛かる＝コストが掛かるから）です。

細かい話ですがフレット浮きは高額な物でも発生する場合がある事を覚えていて下さい。

そして切られたフレット溝よりもフレット本体の大きい爪を引っ掛けてフレットが固定される訳ですが、この辺りが曖昧になっているリペアショップが多いです。
溝幅には国産サイズ・USAサイズとありますが、それさえ問題無ければどんなフレットでも入るかの様にしているお店が非常に多いのが危険です。
木材は剛性に個体差もあれば溝状態が全然異なります。
つまりはこの辺りを正しく把握して打ち込まれていないと抜け易いという事にもなります。
フレットのトラブルはどれだけ「丁寧に考えて組み込んだか？」が重要になります。

調整してみると音が良く、リアはハイゲイン？な物が付いている様子です。
モダン系として扱い易い個体でした。

This is a Blacksmoker Tradmaster setup.

Upon checking the condition, there was a sound blockage on the 3rd fret of the 1st string (4th fret was floating high).

For more information about the frets themselves, please refer to my past videos (videos on fret replacement) and blog posts, but even many repair stores seem to have strange knowledge about them.
No matter how nicely the frets are driven into the wood, the material is not stable after all, so it is difficult to prevent the frets from floating due to deformation caused by shrinkage and expansion.

However, if some effort is made to prevent this, such as pouring glue into the fretboard, it should be possible to reduce the change in the fretboard over a long period of time compared to a fretboard with no glue.
However, these measures are also difficult to implement in a normal production line (because they require a lot of time and effort = high cost).

This is a minor detail, but please keep in mind that fret lift can occur even on expensive instruments.

The fret is held in place by a nail that is larger than the fret groove that has been cut, but many repair stores are unclear on this point.
There are Japanese and USA sizes for the groove width, but it is dangerous that many stores think that any fret can be fretted as long as there is no problem.
The wood has individual differences in rigidity, and the groove condition is completely different.
In other words, if this area is not properly understood and the frets are not hammered in, they will easily fall out.
The problem with frets is how carefully and thoughtfully the fretboard is installed. It is very important to know how carefully the fretboard was installed.

The sound is good after adjustment. It seems to have a high gain in the rear.
It was easy to handle as a modern type.

フジゲンストラトキャスターセットアップ

フジゲン製ストラトキャスターのセットアップです。

ダンカンPUが付いたコストパフォーマンスが高い機種ですね。

順反りして弾き難い状態を調整しました。

調整する事で音も良く弾き易くなりました。
フジゲン製は低価格帯でもしっかりと精度が高く作られており、トラスロッドも良く効くのでフェンダー等と比べたら反り調整の範囲は下手すると2～3倍は違うかもしれません。

こうしたモデルも数万円で購入できるので、フジゲン製はコストパフォーマンスが高いです。
中古市場も値付けが甘いというか、比較的安価で状態が良い物を手に入れられる印象があります。
