    ハンダ付けタイプのEMG仕様でリアのみ85から58に交換しました。

    音が柔らかくアクティブ感を感じないサウンドです。

    大きく順反りを調整し弾き易くなりました。
    乾燥し過ぎな状態かと思われます。

    指板も色を見れば乾燥具合は簡単に分かり、色が薄いと乾燥傾向・濃いと油分が多い状態になります。
    この辺りは指板にオイルを塗って色の変化を見れば誰でも分かると思います。

    指板は塗装されていない箇所になるので保湿はかなり大事です。
    乾燥すると順反りしますので冬場は特に大事な要素になります。

    This is a PU replacement & setup made by Component Guitars.

    Only the rear was replaced from 85 to 58 with soldered type EMG specification.

    The sound is softer and less active.

    The large forward warp has been adjusted to make it easier to play.
    The fretboard is also in a very dry condition.

    You can easily tell how dry the fingerboard is by looking at the color of the fingerboard.
    Anyone can tell this by applying oil to the fingerboard and watching the color change.

    The fingerboard is an unpainted part, so it is very important to keep it moist.
    It is especially important during the winter months because the fingerboard will warp when it dries out.

    ナチョ製テレキャスターのPU交換・セットアップです。

    フロントにP-90増設の内容です。PUはRon Ellis PickupsのEllisonic P-SOPになります。
    ジュリアンラージ仕様となります。

    元ピックガード位置がわずかにズレて付いており、またネックポケット側がザグリより狭いです。6弦側にズレて取り付けてあります。
    高額な楽器でも精度としてはこの様な事も多いので、高額・有名メーカーだから丁寧な作りとは限りません。

    フロントは音が柔らかく太くなる印象、P-90の悪い嫌味は感じないので良いPUですね。
    リアは音が柔らかく、通常のテレキャスターの様に痛い音じゃないので扱い易いです。

    センターは配線を変更し通常のパラレル状態、4Ｗａｙから3Ｗａｙに変更されています。
    センターサウンドも良好でＰＵはどのポジションも良いサウンドです。

    数百万する個体ですがフェンダーカスタムショップ製等よりも明らかに良いので、本当に良い物を分かってる人はこうしたメーカー製品を購入しますよね。

    This is a PU replacement and setup for a Nacho Telecaster.

    The PU is an Ellisonic P-SOP with Ron Ellis Pickups.
    Julian large spec.

    The original pickguard is slightly misaligned and the neck pocket is narrower than the counterbore.
    This is not always the case with expensive instruments, so it is not necessarily because they are made by expensive and famous makers that they are carefully made.

    The front PU gives the impression that the sound is softer and fatter, and it is a good PU because it does not have the bad taste of the P-90.
    The rear is soft and not painful like a normal Telecaster, so it is easy to handle.

    The center has been rewired and changed from the normal parallel state, 4-way to 3-way.
    The center sound is good and the PUs sound good in all positions.

    It is a multi-million dollar piece, but it is clearly better than the Fender Custom Shop, etc. People who really know what they are doing are buying these manufacturers’ products.

    ギブソンカスタムショップ製レスポールカスタムのPU交換・セットアップです。

    フロントにカスタムバッカー、リアにバーストバッカー2の組み合わせです。

    フロントは音が甘く優しい音、リアは歯切れが良くレンジが広く歪みが良いサウンドです。

    フロントとリアでキャラクターが遠いので、フロントとリアでかなり別物感はありますがこれも役割がはっきりとしていて扱い易いと思います。

    バッカス製ジャズベースのPU交換・セットアップです。

    PUをデイマジオ製エリアJに交換です。

    音がクリアで柔らかく、元から付いているスイッチポットによるハムバッカー時も音が太過ぎず良いサウンドです。

    ディマジオは優秀なPUが多く世界で一番売れているPUメーカーだそうですが、日本ではそうした認知が真逆になる事が多いです。
    日本ではセイモアダンカンの方が売れている様な気がしますが、日本は洗脳社会なので良い物が売れていない＆売れない環境です。

    ディマジオはギターでも優秀なPUが多いですがベースでも例外ではありません。
    PU選びに迷っていて低価格を求めるのであればディマジオは選択肢として効率的です。

    This is a PU replacement and setup of a Bacchus Jazz Bass.

    The PU has been replaced with a DeMaggio Area J. The sound is clear, soft, and not too fat even with the original humbucker switch pot.

    トーカイ製プレシジョンベースのPU交換・ノイズ対策処理です。

    PUはヴァンザント製ヴィンテージプラスに交換です。

    ノイズ処理塗料をザグリ内に塗る加工になります。
    ノイズ対策を行えばパッシブでもノイズに強い効果を得られますが反対に高域を削る結果となります。
    ノイズには強くなりますが音質と言う意味では劣化する事になります。

    ピックガード裏にはモントルーのピックガード用の大きいアルミテープを貼ってより対策しております。

    Youtube動画でも紹介したモデルですが加工前・加工後の状態が見れますので確認下さい。

    PU replacement and noise reduction treatment for Tokai Precision Bass.

    The PU is replaced with a Van Zandt Vintage Plus.

    Noise treatment paint is applied to the inside of the counterweight.
    Noise suppression will give a strong effect against noise even with a passive bass, but on the contrary, it will result in the reduction of the high frequency range.
    Although it is more resistant to noise, the sound quality will be degraded.

    We put a large aluminum tape for Montreux pickguard on the back of the pickguard to prevent this problem.

    エピフォン製フロイドローズ仕様レスポールのセットアップ・PU交換です。

    スタッド部に木部割れが起きており傾いている状態で非常に酷い状態です。
    恐らく元からこの状態だった様で、後付けでフロイドローズに改造した個体でもない様に見えますので作りの悪さからの不具合に思われます。

    スタッドブッシュ部に殆ど材が残っていない事から弦を張った際に埋め込んだブッシュ側の材が割れてしまっております。
    一応はアームを使わなければ何とか引っ掛かっている状態です。
    これを修理するには材を埋めて仕上げ直す事から非常に高額な内容になります。
    本来は返品レベルの状態です。

    購入時は知識と細かいチェックが必須です。
    理由は売ってる側が素人な事と、お店でも検品もろくにできておりません。
    これが現実ですので、自分の身を守る為にも知識を付ける事と細かな確認をさせた上で買うのが重要になってきます。

    PU持ち込みにてSuhrのアルドリッチに交換しました。

    アルドリッチはクリーンから歪みまで万能的で、パッシブハムバッカーでもお勧めの一品です。

    This is a setup and PU replacement for an Epiphone Floyd Rose spec Les Paul.

    The wood is cracked at the studs, and the guitar is leaning.
    It seems to have been in this condition from the beginning, and it does not seem to have been modified to Floyd Rose afterwards.

    There is almost no wood left on the stud bushings, so the bushings that were embedded when the strings were stretched have cracked.
    The arm is still in a state where it can be somehow hooked without using the arm.
    To repair it would be very expensive, as the wood would have to be filled in and refinished.
    The condition of the guitar is normally returnable.

    We brought in the PU and replaced it with a Suhr Aldrich.

    The Aldrich is versatile from clean to distortion and is a great choice for passive humbuckers.

  • Jackson Pro Series Dinky DK Modern フレットすり合わせ＆PU交換

  • ジャクソン製プロシリーズのフレットすり合わせ・PU交換です。

    フレット消耗が大きい状態です。

    お客様持ち込みの中古で入手したPU、セイモアダンカンSH-2・13に交換です。

    中古でパーツを買う際の注意点ですが、元の状態と異なる可能性があります。
    PUはエスカッションに取り付けるか直付けか？でビス穴に加工がされています。
    その他にも前オーナーの素人作業により破損が起きている等も考えられます。

    SH-13は取り付けビス部分がヒビ割れしており、簡単に割れたのでそのままでは取り付けできない状態になっておりました。
    恐らくこれらが理由で前オーナーが破損個所を隠して販売した物と思われます。
    割れ箇所を接着剤で補強＆接着を行って取り付けました。

    ジャクソンやシャーベル等は地味に音が良く弾き易いモデルが多いのでお勧めです。
    やはり一般的で無い様なメーカーには良い物が多いので、メタルギターのイメージが強いかもしれませんが結構万能的なモデルです。

  • フェンダーUSA製ストラトキャスターの配線直し・セットアップです。

    フロント・センターにSSL-1、リアにSSL-5に交換されております。

    お客様が交換作業をして音がおかしいとの事で持ち込まれましたが、配線を失敗している状態です。

    配線を直し音を出してみると良いサウンドです。

    ダンカン製シングルコイルは優秀で、低価格で買えるPUの中でもお勧めできるモデルが多いですが近年は値上がりでその手軽に音を良くする手段として難しくなってきています。
    SSL-1も音が良くて3年程度前までならサウンドハウスで1個6980円等で販売されていた事もありました。
    シングルコイルならまずSSL-1に交換して、その音からダンカンのカタログを参考に別PUに交換する等すると結構ハマります。
    ダンカンのカタログは結構PUの説明精度が高いです。

    This is a Fender USA Stratocaster rewired and setup.

    It has been replaced with an SSL-1 front and center and an SSL-5 rear.

    The customer brought it in because the sound was not right after the replacement work, but the wiring had failed.

    After rewiring and trying the sound, it sounds good.

    The Duncan single coils are excellent, and there are many models among the low-priced PUs available that I can recommend, but in recent years the price has gone up and it has become more difficult to find an easy way to improve the sound.
    The SSL-1 also has a good sound, and up until about 3 years ago, it could be found at Soundhouse for 6980 yen per unit.
    If you want to use a single coil, you should first replace it with an SSL-1, and from the sound of the SSL-1, you can change to another PU by referring to Duncan’s catalog.
    Duncan’s catalog is quite accurate in explaining PUs.

    Suhr製ModernのPU交換・配線変更・セットアップです。

    ArdrichにPU交換です。私もお勧めしておりますがアルドリッチはハイゲインでも歪みが良くモダン系ギターにはお勧めなPUです。

    配線をお客様の要望でフロントハム/フロントタップ/両方コイルタップ（外側）/両方コイルタップ（内側）/リアハムに配線しました。
    スイッチはお客様の要望で元から付いているスイッチを流用する形となりましたが、やや消耗気味です。
    パーツの流用は正直お勧めしません。
    消耗品は基本新品状態の方が音が良いので、ガリ等が発生している時点で交換された方が良いです。

    ボリュームはガリがあり、こちらのみ要望で新品に交換しました。
    予算の都合等もあるかとは思いますが、電装系パーツは組んだ後にトラブルが起こると交換作業を行う事になりますので2重に料金が掛かる結果になります。
    未来がどうなるかは私にも分かりませんが、消耗を感じる状態であればこうした改造の機会に全て新品に交換してしまった方が安全です。

    PU replacement, rewiring and setup of a Suhr Modern.

    This is a PU change to Ardrich. I recommend Ardrich for modern guitars because of its good distortion even at high gain.

    Wiring was changed to front hum/front tap/both coil tapped (outside)/both coil tapped (inside)/rear hum at the customer’s request.
    The original switch was used at the customer’s request, but it is a little worn out.
    We honestly do not recommend using the same parts.
    Consumable parts sound better when they are in new condition, so it is better to replace them when they are worn out or worn out.

    The volume had a buzzing sound, and we replaced it with a new one only at the request of the customer.
    I understand that there may be budget constraints, etc., but if a problem occurs after the electrical parts are assembled, the replacement work will be done, which will result in double charges.
    I do not know what will happen in the future, but if you feel wear and tear, it is safer to replace all the parts with new ones on the occasion of such modification.

  • Kramer JK1000 PU交換＆Dチューナー取り付け＆セットアップ EVH wolfgang Bridge Pickup

    クレーマー製JK1000のPU交換・Dチューナー増設です。

    中古購入ですが状態が良いです。

    交換するPUはEVH製ウルフギャングです。

    元のPUを外してみるとPUザグリが浅く、スポンジを使わない直付け仕様でした。
    交換後も弦にPUがかなり近い状態です。

    スポンジを使用しないPUの取り付けは音がタイトになり歪み系が綺麗に分離良く鳴ってくれるのでメリットがありますが、PUによりパワーや音の拾い具合にも差が大きいので取り付けるPUの適切な高さを知った上で計算したザグリにしないといけません。
    過去に自分のギターベース製作でも行っている方法です。
    決まってしまえば非常に良くなりますがPU交換を行う等をするとそのザグリとPUのパワーとでバランスが崩れてしまいます。

    分離が良く歪ませても音の粒が良い。
    弦がPUに近いので当然ながら出音もパワフルです。
    このギターはスイッチポットによりパラレルにできる仕様となっていた事から、コイルタップではなく元と同じくパラレルで配線する事となりました。
    出力が高いシングルコイルの様な音でこちらもかなり良いです。

    意外とハムバッカーはコイルタップよりもパラレル配線の方が音が良いので、コイルタップはもう時代遅れなのかもしれません。
    これらも結局は使ってみて音が良いものを選択する様にしましょう。

    This is a PU replacement and D-tuner addition for a Cramer JK1000.

    It was purchased used but in good condition.

    The PU to be replaced is an EVH Wolfgang.

    When we removed the original PU, we found that the PU counterbore was shallow and directly attached without using a sponge.
    After the replacement, the PU is still very close to the strings.

    However, there is a big difference in power and sound pickup depending on the PU, so it is necessary to know the proper height of the PU to be installed and to make a calculated counterbore.
    This is a method I have used in the past for my own guitar bass production.
    Once it is fixed, it is very good, but if you replace the PU, the balance will be lost between the counterbore and the power of the PU.

    The separation is good and the grain of the sound is good even when distorted.
    The strings are close to the PU, so the sound is naturally powerful.
    Since this guitar was designed to be parallel by the switch pot, it was decided to wire it in parallel as the original, instead of coil tapping.
    The sound is like a single coil with high output, which is also quite good.

    Surprisingly, parallel wiring sounds better than coil-tap wiring for humbuckers, so coil-tap wiring may be outdated.
    In the end, try to use these and choose the ones that sound good.
